It would've been nice enough to play outside today, but I started too late, and had to move to the gym because of lack of light. It wasn't as grippy, but I still had a good session. No drilling, just shred. Hit some neat stuff too.

flip gdlo>symp egg
gyro whirl>blaze>fusion (probably the, I had to squeeze it)
blurriest>fog bsos
footed a dream move. it went up, but missed the osis ='(

Tonight felt good, and I can definitely feel my drills helping my form. I think I'll keep this up.

This ridiculous game I've been in, Humans Vs. Zombies, ended today. This has consumed the past 5 days of my life, and I'm relieved that it's over. For those of you that know the game, I was the original zombie, and got 7 kills the first day (also my total =/)

My hair is pink. I raised money for Relay For Life, and I promised my donators I would do No Shave November if we got to $100, and pink hair if we got to $200, and we made it to about $350 =)

Had a good session today. I might not be able to NYJ, but I really really hope I can

Haha, the original zombie?? That is badass. They have that at RIT for a full week too, but only for a day here :( I'm uber jealous

I had my last session of the semester at Siena, and also my last before NYJ. I'm really excited, and eternally grateful to my 2 professors that helped me out with final exam dates that's allowing me to take this trip.

See all of you on Friday =)

Today's my last full day home for vacation. Here's an alright video from the last basement session for a while. I haven't been training at all since NYJ, so don't expect any improvement, but there's some neat stuff I think.

Nice stuff, Matt! Your game is so solid and controlled. Hope to kick with you again in the future.

Trying out a new video question site (like formspring, except with video responses): www.vyou.com/m2thek

Ask footbag related questions, training, tournaments, goals, etc. Or anything you want to ask, really. Just something to try it out so I can get a feel for it please :D

I had my third session after getting back to training this week. I'm really sore, and it feels nice. Like an old friend.

I took off January because I needed a break after all of my training leading up to NYJ. I wasn't planning to take off February as well, but I played intramural basketball with my roommate and hallmates, and combined with classes, I didn't have much time to play. I'm really glad I played that with them; I used to hate playing basketball, and now I'm really in love with it. The season's over, but we still play at least once a week, and I've been shooting around for a half hour after all of my sessions.

I'm still accepting vyou questions if you want to give them (http://www.vyou.com/m2thek); I promise I can be entertaining!

Hope to see you soon friends.

Thanks guys. I answered a few of them yesterday morning.

I just had my fourth session in a row this week. It feels good to be getting back into the swing of things. This is the best session I've had since NYJ, and I can feel myself getting back to where I was.

I hit a few cool things:

pdx blender>gyro whirl rpt
superfly>muted schmoe>symp egg
stepping symple legover bsos (like fog minus the mirage)
double spinning clipper one side

I also slammed my legs together on a flip pdx whirling swirl harder than I ever have before. Guess who's gonna have a bruised toe tomorrow =/

Had my first session back at school today. Played for 2 hours and worked up a real sweat. I can start to feel myself getting better than Matt at NYJ, which makes me very excited.

Hit a cool combo after I drilled:

food>gyro whirl>whirling legover>pixie ss double down

I thought you were better than Churney even back at NYJ.
