I think that I could take part in the next exchange.

How many stamps I need (if they are first class)? :? Just one? If so I can send three postcards cause at the moment I only have three. :( I'll try to get some more ASAP.

It depends on where you live. In Australia you need a $1.10 stamp (or stamps to that value) - as opposed to if you were sending it inside Australia it would be 50cents.

I think the best way to do this is for me to start a new thread. That way, people can say that they want to take part in the next exchange and I can have the first post include a list of people who want to take part this time. This would mean a fresh start to anyone who got behind with the other exchanges and will follow through this time.

EX:)
People taking part in the postcard exchange:
ebo
Jeremy
Erik Chan
ShredOnLawn
Sporatical_Distractions
Blue_turnip
bigdirtyfoot
B_Man
sniikeri
skankin

If your name is there and shouldn't be, let me know. If you want to take part in the next exchange and it's not there, let me know.
Thoughts on that?

Okay, I'm going to do PM's in a little more than 24 hours, so if you want to be a part of this one please PM me or post here. The people on the list are those who have posted recently in this thread, or those who I am pretty sure have kept up with sending their cards. Again, if you're on the list and shouldn't be or if you want to be on it and are not, please let me know.

Right. So I've sent out PM's. If you didn't get one and should have, please PM me.

Sweet,

I'm so lucky - I always get cool people to send postcards too :D

hmm. Considering that statement - I can't really think of anybody I wouldn't be stoked on seeing in my PMs - but I still feel lucky ;)

As soon as I got my addresses I went to buy six postcards (for the future exchanges too), wrote them, put a stamp there to the upright corner and went to send them. That was yesterday, but because it's weekend the box won't be emptied until tomorrow.
I think I also got cool people - but who wouldn't be cool as long as he/she plays footbag?

EDIT: I'm not sure if I can make it to the next exchange, it depends on when it'll be. I'm going to Germany for three weeks in July, so I'm not sure what my address will be. :D
But if I can't make it, I'll be in the exchanges after that.

Oh yeah, I'll be in Quebec next month too, so I don't know if I will have the internet. But maybe if we do it just before I could send some from Quebec! :) If I don't reply in that month that's why, though.

This is such a rad idea, I wish I could take part (my parents would be kind of uneasy just sending out postcards to people, of course you aren't just people, you're footbaggers).

Maybe next time though 8)

Yay, Emily sent me two more addresses and I sent some more postcards. Watch out, John Doe and Jack Doe! I've never before sent a postcard to S********! :D
As a matter of fact, I had never before sent ANYTHING through mail before this.

Edit: I took off the names from there. I'm not sure either if it's allowed to tell the names out loud. Better this way, I think.

I just wanted to let the recipients of my letters know that I won't be sending them out until after next weekend. This is due to the fact that I have something that I would like to do for these people and it can only be done during ShrEdmonton.

You will know what it is when you receive them :)

I got mine out yesterday! Huzzah!

However, I somehow misplaced the other six I had written randomly on my trip to New Orleans. Quite a travesty, I must say. I will find them someday and send them out, because they must be in my house somewhere.

I think I'm done with this. I've sent 6 post cards now and only received one.

It's really cool but I'm DONE FOR NOW. I'll email Emily.

You have to patient - there are cards coming from all around the world - I only sent 5 days ago - which would mean that the people they are going to - who live on the other side of the world - wouldn't have recieved them yet! - I wouldn't expect them for a week.

Maybe Australia is different, because I've never mailed there (although my postcard to Jeremy only took a week), but my experience with every other continent is that it takes a week to send a basic postage letter (except for some reason South America (or was it Central?) takes a month @_______@)

I think the problem is that people have to stop being so lazy
I sent mine a week ago and whoever I sent to should probably get them Monday or Tuesday.
