Hey Mathieu.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your situation. I was there once and know exactly how hard it is to get through when you have a child involved. Good news is that my daughter is doing great and I hope that your situation works out for the better. Hopefully I will get to see you a little longer the next time I am in Montreal.

Keep your head up and keep on keepin' on.

Glad to hear things are turning around. The fact that Worlds is in your backyard will hopefully be a good motivator for you with footbag. Looking forward to seeing you this summer!

3rd sess in 3 days!

damn i suck its crazy after so long ! but I have fun doing things slowly

I had some good moments tough, 6 consecutive rip walks well controlled, ripwalk-blurriest-ripwalk with good sets too

some basic stuff is very hard to dial again, will need time and patience :)

no playing for about 1 week, was pretty busy

had 2 sess<s this week, feels good, but still very rusty!

I'm taking it slow tough, I'm mostly doing basics and not rushed to get back to my old level.

I'm really motivated to play with people more then by myself, but I still enjoy those solo sess's!

I think such a long break like this can be benefic on some concepts I was bad at, helps to unlearn the bad way and try to relearn, aka stepping sets... I'm getting some decent sets

I spoiled myself today, I hit a flip stepping ss whirl, oh boy that's been over a year or two :D

sessions are 30mins-1 hour for now, I'm not 100% dedicated as I once was, but that's having responsibilities

I love footbag!

yesterday did about 40 minutes

new : flip pdx difter- ripwalk
blurry drifter first try, can probably do it midstring soon if I keep working on it, the stepping sets are feeling better then ever! just need to dial them and be constant.

finished sess on my best locomotion ever

Doing some runs and using most stepping as possible, its feeling great since it's what I sucked at forever and always wanted to do!

Guess the year or so off from footbag did good!

been about a week i play every day

i gave myself a goal, 30 min per day (or around 30) minimum

today I hit one drill I've been dreaming of for a while, not so hard but was hard for me because I'm not really good at linking this

spin clip - ripwalk - gyro clip - ripwalk - rpt

I was really happy about it, especially that the rip walks looked good :D

pretty lame, after being motivated a lot again and playing everyday, I woke up last thursday morning with severe back problems, guess I didn't sleep well or something.

Since then my back hurts randomly, going through left hip and leg.

good news is it's slowly disappearing, I kicked 5 mins in pants and felt no pain whatsoever

tomorrow = back to shred if all is well :D

and then I can go back to my 30 mins per day goal

back problems almost gone!

today i hit a nice combo: step ss whirl - pdx egg :D

and flip pdx whirl - gyro illusion (very weak on flip)

only 20 mins, still taking it slow because of the back

some new stuff from last weeks

gyro whirl - far symple rev swirl both sides
far symple rev swirl - barfly both sides
ss butterfly simple rev swirl (wow this is hard!)
flip spinning symple rev swirl
far symple rev swirl b2b starting from flip

and many more combos with symple rev swirls, its my new favorite trick :D

Oh I didn't count but I'm pretty sure I equalized or beat my rip walk record today... probably 15 or so

so I think this week marks my re re re re re comeback, 4 sess in 5 days, and going to have a 2nd one today after this post.

today I hit some stuff I been dying to hit for a while
far symple rev swirl - ps whirl
far symple rev swirl - symp whirl, someone at work who knows nothing about footbag saw it and said "wow that was fresh" made me happy :)

I keep pushing my limits once again, and I'm enjoying it, even if I did'nt play much in the last years, I'm always happy I have footbag in my life and I don't see myself giving it up.
