Shredded this morning and yesterday arvo, only went for 15minutes this morning due to the dreaded chaff.

I still have the skills. Just concentrating on staying on my toes and trying to fix my flip clipper.

Work on flip illusion and ss illusions tonight.

My team got throught to the semi. I am confident we will win the final too.

Yo blog

Worked flip bubbas and rakes bs. Rake is a cool relaxed trick. Next on the list is butterflys, osises, pdx mirages, and pdx illusions. i am really trying to stay on my toes during my shred and it is helping.

farewell.

The best thing about footbag is the injuries!

NO! Wait!!! I mean the WORST thing about footbag...

Damn it! I didn't warm up tonight because I was running late for my 7pm start time and was keen to get into it. As a result I strained my groin muscle (not what you think you filthy sick-o's).

Anyway, Caroline turned up tonight. She told me how the Melbourne guys looked after her some while she was down there. Thanks to anyone who gave her tips on her play. I noticed she was much more confident in her clippers tonight and has improved very much since I last kicked with her.

Anyway, I might pop over to the Melbourne blog next and check it out... see how Brisbane was represented.

So I spoke to Jesse briefly on MSN last night and was pleased to hear he got a new footbag. Thankyou Jamie! Hopefully Jesse will be up for a weekend shred some time in the future (if not a monday night session ;) ).

Although I've not played since before x-mas, I am keen to play again - been missing it. I've even started downloading some more videos.

You guys were missed at nats, we could have used you in the cricket match.
There will be a Sydney Jam in March as Phil "Red Rocket" Morrison will be in town, Jeremy, Daniel and Alex have all confirmed. I think the dates are on footbag.org forums somewhere.
Don't say you'll be there unless you are 100% sure (Jesse I'm talking to you)

I'll be down Sydney way around mid Feb, though not sure exactly when or where. Basicly It's a counterstrike thing and I'll be chilling with a load of guys in my clan, but I do hope to play some footbag with the Sydney guys when I'm down there.

Yes! Tonight I FINALLY hit Paradox whirl!
I've no idea how long it's been in the process, but I'm stoked that I've finally hit it!
It was a good session all round, actually, 'footing' torque, and playing with my flipside quantum. I also had some progress with my steps and ripwalks... I'm starting to hit them with less effort - something I often have to remind myself to do, but something I'm doing all the same.
As usual I collapsed into a heap, after a brief exclamation. A juggler/twirler guy came up and say "I have to ask... what did you hit?"
"Paradox whirl" I replied.
He looked confused.
Still lying on my back, I showed the basic motion. At his continued befuddlement I got up and showed him again (with no success, this time).
He was satisfied, saying that he'd seen me trying it for a while now... "Congratulations"

Yeah, I rock. ;)

hey blog

Well havent played footbag for a long time now. My squash is going okay. I train pretty hard when i can. I have a recurring hamstring injury, that seems to bother me once a week. So i will train hard for 2 days play a tough five setter, then the niggle will come and then i have to rest it. I stretch a lot, but i think it is going to be a problem that i will have to make do with. It is going to be a problem when i play tournaments especially after the first day of competition. it is okay once it is warm, but it still pulls when i really stretch to get a ball.

My main concern when it comes to this injury is that over the last couple of years, even during the footbag years, i did have this niggle, but it would play up once every 3 months, and now it is once a week. Hopefully it will go away. Maybe I should take up lawn bowls or something, that way i could drink beer while i play.

Last night i entered a free roll poker tournament online. the cost is nothing to enter the tournament and it had a prize pool of 150 Dollars U.S.

1644 people entered this tournament. Before this tournament my previous best finish was 190th in which i recieved the princely sum of 12c. Well last night i did a tad bit better.

I finished 2nd. I recieve 16 dollars U.S.

So this morning i am playing at the general tables (Oh yeah i am talking about texas no limit poker as well, like the one on tv). the small blind is 5c and the big blind is 10c. The first table i went to i took in 5 dollars. I left with 29.98 dollars. next one i took 5 in, left with 10. And at my current table i took 5 in and i am currently 6.10.

So i have converted 0 dollars into 45 dollars. It seems most of the other players at the tables i am playing at play pretty loose and dont tend to think of what another player might have etc, etc. anyways that enough about me saying how good i think i am at poker. I will keep the blog updated with my winnings or losings, if the fellow members of the bcs, i am looking at you gareth, dont mind.

p.s I will not be able to make the trek to sydney to catch up, due to my car being on the edge of extinction.

Good day

I've actually stared a MySpace ( ) and am posting most of my stuff there - though it's more personal and not a private thing.

Anyway, glad you're doing well, dude.

Will be up at Hervey bay around the weekend of the 11th, 12th...
