My fearless record is 8, setman. Thanks for the props.

6:00AM Workout 1 of 2 for Friday 3/31/06 - Stair run

I love this weather. I ran in shorts for the first time in forever.

Time: 19:55
Location: All over Pittsburgh
Self Status: OK
Leg Status: A little bit of soreness

So I have to ask this girl to the Engineer's Ball, today. Not just any girl, a very special one. Haha. I think it's funny that I'm nervous because I'm not usually like this. But I don't know if asking her to this is a bit forward right now. Can't change the day of the ball though, so I have to suck it up and ask. We'll see how it goes tonight.

Haha. Well to keep you from further suspense, Anz:

I called. As predicted, she didn't answer and I had to ask her voicemail to the ball and not her. She probably won't call me back for a few days. I always get the feeling like she's blowing me off and then she calls and asks if i won't to go get dinner or do something. Haha. So weird. So I'll probably have to ask someone else. Ah well.

Saturday is my day of rest this week. I'm going to go see Ben Folds instead of footbag. Wooohooo!

1:00PM Workout 1 of 2 for Sunday 4/2/06 - Stair run

Well it's a cloudy day and I wasn't feeling too pumped to go run. I did anyway though, haha. I just went a little faster than a jog. I didn't even wear a watch because I had no concern for pace. I just knew I'd feel good about it afterwards. Which I do. And to make up for lost time last week, I did an ab workout too.

Aww! You're such a sweetheart Mosher (wow that was so Brokeback) Will you be at GRASS buddy? I can't wait to see what you're all about now that you're like 100x more into footbag than last time we met.

6:30AM Workout 1 of 2 for Monday 4/3/06 - Stair run

Last night, I stayed up far too late talking on the phone with my ex-girlfriend (haha don't ask) so I didn't play footbag or anything. It's amazing how many excuses I have even when the night before I was like "no excuses" hahaha. Ah well. Carpe diem. Right? So I ran this morning to save that extra half hour of sleep I would lose if I went to the gym. It felt good though.

Time: 20:04
Location: All over Pittsburgh
Self Status: A bit confused, but you'll have that
Leg Status: Pain free!

I hope it's nice outside today. I really want to go into a public place and bust 30 contact strings today.

The weather wasn't so great today. In fact, there was a tornado watch in effect. Haha. Needless to say, I did not kick outside as I'd hoped.

On an unrelated note, the young lady that I think oh so highly of...can't make it to the Engineers Ball on Friday  . So I asked another girl the in the afternoon and she said yes. Shine my dancin' shoes! I'm going to the ball!!! Haha. Eventhough I found another date to the ball very quickly, I can't help but be confused whether or not that certain someone rejected me or just can't go. I can't pinpoint anything this girl does!!!! I think to save face I should just consider it rejection and move on. It's better than thinking I have a chance when I just couldn't read the signals, right? I don't know why I really typed that all out but it like JUST happened so it was on my mind. Sorry. On to the more interesting matters.

8:00PM Workout 2 of 2 for Monday 4/3/06 - 1 hour solo session

I had an ok session. I mostly drilled things that are difficult for me. Nuclear, stepping out of blenders/mobius, flip whirlwind, furious, etc. I find that most of my solo sessions are just straight drilling like this since I'm kicking with Jake and Ian twice a week usually. I do sometimes get bursts of energy and bust long strings.

I laid out a shred30 routine to practice for my next tournament, today. It has more than a few ducks/spins so I am scared it may be longer than 30 seconds to get 30 tricks in. We'll find out soon. If i ever feel like practicing it.

Highlights:
-Food Processor>Blurry Whirl
-Matador>Blurry Drifter
-Symp whirling swirl (BSOS)

Location: My apartment
Self Status: ?
Leg Status: A little muscle soreness in whatever it is that raises your toe/foot. I'm pretty sure that just means I'm playing lots of footbag.

Tip of the Day: It's much more difficult to jump back in a circle if you go straight from top-end to rest. Cool down for a minute. Do a few infinities/spins before sitting down. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

9:00PM Workout 2 of 2 for Tuesday 4/4/06 - Stair Run

I was drained after work so I went for a run instead of actually thinking and busting shred. Woops.

Leg Status: Left knee pain under the knee cap. I took some Advil and we'll see what it feels like tomorrow.

I was late for work today. Whoops! I totally turned off my alarm and fell back to sleep. No workout this morning.

Funny Story:

So I was late, and FLYING through the office parking lot, looking for a space and I almost ram this black SUV head on. So I find a space and I am ready to slip in the building when I hear "You almost gave me a heart attack." I turn and there's a gorgeous blonde getting out of the black SUV parked right beside me. Haha. I didn't even see it there, otherwise I may have avoided it. I'm glad I almost hit her though. We talked as we walked in late together, and she saved the elevator for me. (First time I ever rode the elevator instead of the stairs  )

It's been a few days since I've done much of anything. I guess I've just been real busy and fell out of the schedule. It's going to be a very busy weekend and I had to prepare for it most of the week.

Friday (today): Engineers' Ball
Saturday: My mom's and roommate's birthday
Sunday: I will be unconscious most of the day

Tonight should be fun but I am not pumped to drive 1.5 hours to my mom and come all the way back the same day to chill with my roomie. Ah well, and so is life. I'm sure Anz will be dying to know about the ball so I'll post some shred highlights.......i mean dance highlights sometime afterwards. :P

Haha. Unfortunately not, THE girl. Another young female will be my arm candy for the occasion. But THE girl is going to put her photography in the Pittsburgh Arts Festival this summer. It can't hurt that she has to spend hours sifting through stillshots of me playing footbag, can it?

Well, I sure went Missing In Action on the modified realm lately. No, I didn't get kidnapped and I didn't quit footbag. I've just been kind of busy with my internship and with working out all the school stuff for me to go back to class this summer.

To update everyone: I have been footbagging and working out only sporatically. Probably every other day. I fell out of my schedule and haven't had the drive to come back. Then I decided that I had better not go really hard until after GRASS. Also, my car got bumped ahead of schedule to be fixed and she's purring like a brand new kitten that's ready to transport me all the way to Rochester, NY. I'm pretty jazzed about it! On a sadder note, I pulled my hamstring a few days ago. You don't even want to know what I was doing to cause the injury. Haha. But I was able to shred pretty good with Jake and Ian so I should be 100% by the time GRASS rolls around.

Shit I had better make a routine and possibly a Shred30 for that, shouldn't I? It's less than a week away!!! 8O

HA! That is exactly what I said before I went to my last tourney. It's a lot easier to MAKE a shred30 routine than it is to practice it.
Hope the ball was fun  I wonder if you showed your lady friend that THOSE kinds of balls aren't all she can have fun with...

Props on the recent links! I keep telling myself to throw blurry whirls, but I forget to...

GUESS WHO'S BACK!!!! That's right. After conquering sickness, moving into a new house, and now illegally acquiring internet.......the blog is back.

Josiah: Yeah it was a bummer that I was too sick to go to GRASS. I miss a lot of people that were at that tournament. I'm thinking about going to Spike and Shred since I missed out. We'll see what happens with that.

Last night, I played footbag for the first time in a while. I was so sick and then moving was a bitch. My new place is so SWEET though. Well worth it. Nothing special was hit. I did bust a ton of spinning pdx blenders though.
