Went up to play with Eugene crew on Saturday. Got a hold of James, and we (Cale and I) kicked with him for a couple hours. He's got really good string length and came close to hitting an intense sick three. Anyways, Cale learnt Nuclear set while we were there, and promptly hit Sumo bs, which was intense. I think he was born to be really good at atomic. Cool thing for me was i found out that barraging isn't very difficult, after that i hit toe barrage bs, and Pdx barrage on my strong side. Worked barraging as a set, and came close to barraging ss butterfly (Sunil Walker?) It was great. Pixies still suck, i just don't get it. Stepping was on.

I'm working on something that'll make you throw up, it's cool. Though i might be exaggerating a bit.

Well, i guess I'll post in here again about my progress. I've just recently fixed my butterfly form, and now i can step out of infinity like nothing, which was a problem before. Pixie has also become consistent, along with Fairy, Stepping, and Atomic. I'm getting to the point where if i bail to infinity or butterfly, i immediately do some stepping stuff, it feels great to see my game going to the next level, which i think it is. Recently i reached a goal that i had placed out to myself as soon as i discovered i could do frigid osis, which was like 7 months ago (approximately) I finally hit Legfreezer.

For those of you that don't know what that is, it's basically a Legbeater, but you set from frigid osis. So it's Frigid Osis Atomic Butterfly (Or Frozen Butterfly) I felt so happy after hitting it, i went on to hit Sailing Butterfly, which felt equally as good. Just wanted to share my thoughts with everyone, and I'll see ya all at US Open!

Just had an ok session. Decided i would do the Stephen Barnes one shot challenge thing, but was very unhappy with the video. I thought i had fixed my butterflies since my last video, but they just look the same to me  I'll just have to redeem myself tomorrow.

My new Hania bag is starting to break in, which is exciting. Cause right now i don't have very many really good bags to play with. My current best one is like dead and can probably on survive like 3 more sessions.

lately I've been thinking about how Footbag has changed me. I'm amazed what this sport has done for my self-esteem and my physicality. If you looked at myself a year ago right next to myself today, you wouldn't be able to tell we were the same person.

I really need to meet more footbaggers. Or maybe not... I'm not sure. I mean almost everyone on this forum knows me because of videos and things, but I've only met like a few in person. i would love to meet all the people i talk to here, and play some footbag with them.

Heres the one shot challenge vid. I had a lapse of thought at the end of the vid, causing me to say "one run thing" cause i forgot to say it at the beggining.

Thanks Zac. I forgot to mention earlier, but i hit something cool.

 Rev-whirling Symp Swirling Osis. Like a Dyno, but after the dex, you do a symposium swirl with the support leg, then catch the bag like you would for dyno. It's pretty cool.

Had a good session today, worked barrages. I don't know what everyone else thinks, but to me, toe barrages are easier then clip set ones. I think they're easier to clean up, and feel smoother to. But i discovered today how to do barrage pretty cleanly and efficiently from clipper. I try to think of it as a stepping ss mirage, but muted, and midtime. It makes it feel cleaner, and i think doing it like that will prepare me for Furious.

I've been really sore lately because at school a ninja kid is teaching me some gymnastics stuff, and adding that on top of footbag, it's pretty strenuous, since i play practically every day.

Another cool thing, i hit Pdx whirl BSOS! I always seem to ignore Whirls, but i really need to use them more, they just look to dang cool not to :)

Also worked spinning. I'm going to pose a question to the community, how many plants should there be in a normal spinning clipper? I've sometimes done it witout any plants, but that feels way to out of control.

Freestyle goals for the next couple of weeks

 Better Barrages

 Rubberman (Close)

 Whirl War

 Lots and lots of ducking, diving, and spinning

 drills that incorporate all sets i can do.

 Way way more atomics

Thanks to all those who respond, and if all you do is read this, thanks for giving me one more view.

Normally, one or two plants look the best.

How close are you to rubberman? If you're not super close, do you wanna race?

And another question... how long have you been playing? I always forget.

(EDIT) All i need to do is work my blurs a tiny bit, thats my only weakness. They have gotten way better in the last week though.

I accept your challenge! Let the race begin. It starts tomorrow.

an amount in months? is that pertaining to how long I've been playing, or how long we have to hit Rubberman?

had a good session today. here are some highlights

 Ducking clipper x4

 Run with LOTS of ducking clippers

 Bunch of whirls and Pdx Whirls both sides

 Worked Quantum a bit, hit Toe Blur Bs, got them on video. Quantums look so cool! (EDIT) The set, but the shoes look cool to.

 Shin splints galore. I always get frustrated when i get shin splints. Some times I'll go for months without them then BAM, they sneak up on me and make me sad

 Tripwalk BSOS. Second one was pretty sketchy, but i think it counted.

Thats all for now folks, i don't think anyone wants to hear about my personal life, so I'll leave you with what i got so far.

Cheers,
