New Years Jam 2007
Thanks. New page, close enough to the top...
Zeke wrote:I'll be printing my bodybag art as shirts and a few hoodies for NYJ. This is not the official shirt for the event, just my own little project. I'll be donating a few as prizes. It's not likely I'll be selling any online anytime soon, so if you want a shirt or hoodie you'll just have to come to NYJ. It willl most likely going to be white ink on black fabric. I'll have to redo the art to make it print ready. Might look a little flat. I'll see.
Zeke wrote:I'm taking a survey of player's shirt sizes. I'm asking that anyone who is attending (or is already confirmed to attend) to please PM Colinwith your shirt and hoodie size preference. He will add it to your name along with arrival info.
Please use the format below. If you're not interested in a type of garment, leave it blank.
(shirt size/hoodie size)
Examples:
Henry Griese (XXXXL/XXXXL)
Zeke (L/XL)
Dank (L/) it's too friggin' hot in Miami!
This is NOT a pre-order, just a survey at this point.
I may do a pre-order if I can get a quote from the printer soon.
Also, I'll be reprinting these:

Funny movie titles if the movie were about poop:
Red
Fast & the Furious
The Green Mile
Children of the Corn
There Will be Blood

I will buy a hoodie for sure if it has that "bodybag" picture on it. That drawing is awesome!

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

There's still going to be (at least) one more meeting about some of these things, this weekend, so we should have some more definitive answers for you next week. That in mind, here's a little bit of info for everyone (hope I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by sharing this now):shredzilla wrote:What's the host hotel/crash/sleeping/bathing situation? I don't know if I'm too late for this, but I'd be up for getting a room in my name and splitting it with people. I think the only way I can get Zeke's Hack Off shirt is to go
-- We've talked about whether or not to rent a parlor (aka the suite) as general crash space and also a hangout/party space. I think right now we're leaning towards renting it, and people can chip in money and crash there, if they want. EDIT: Exactly how much people would need to chip in is not known at this time. I'm willing to guarantee that it would cost less than booking a room, even shared with three or more people, so this will probably be the most affordable option.
-- We want to have a general hangout/party space available, we also want to defray as much of the costs as we can. People who crash in the parlor will help defray that cost. Donations from folks who aren't sleeping in the parlor but are using it to hangout are also appreciated.
-- If people want to work out their room situation like they would for Worlds or other events, that is totally cool with us. If everyone decides to go this route & nobody is crashing in the parlor, then the costs might prevent us from having a party space. On the other hand, if everyone decides to just crash in the parlor, it will be crowded and miserable.
Once again, there will still be more meetings about this, so I don't want people to think the accomodation situation is 100% set in stone. Wait until next week & we'll have more info.
*Also edited some wording.

I was looking forward to seeing you again at NYJ.
Zeke, will you be able to print any girl-sized shirts and hoodies?
When Peng says 'girl sized' she really means 'very small girl' sized.
And these posts by Peng and I should suffice as a sign that we will be there for sure!

Yeay! and yay to Mathieu for having booked already - quite an organized fellow.
Hour wise - we have the spot from 10 to 4 I think, then we eat and party and start kicking at the after hours spot till late. Then you wake up and go down and try all the other sports - wall climbing, oversized boxing, table tennis, until ur ready for footbag.
