well i tried to set up a meeting with phillip morris but they havent gotten back to me. they must be busy.
well... i got up here (chicago) on tuesday evening and got a ride from tom and nathan to go pick up zeke and we ate at sticky rice. had really good foods and tried jackfruit icecream. like peaches and bananas.
didnt get any sleep the night before the interview. i was too nervous and too much was going through my mind.
went to the interview yesterday. marianne took me. i had applied for a print position and met with the creative director, the vp of projects, and an associate director.... all at separate times. they realized that i like doing interactive design... and told me they had positions open in their interactive department and asked if i wanted to interview for that position as well! i ended up meeting with three more interactive people... the creative directors and the project manager. they were flipping through my book and one of them recognized my settlers of catan board game design and said "you basically have the job now!" hahah. when it was over, the head of the interactive department asked me... "so when would you be able to start?" i say... "i just need two weeks notice" grinning. he says "so... (looking at a calendar) if i contacted you next week... hmmmm... youd be able to start on july 26th?" AHHH! i said of course!
i think i got the job. i went and looked at apartments. im super excited to find out whats going to happen.
heading back to nashville tonight. time to get my shit together and enjoy the company of my southern friends while i have the chance.
