The campaign is boring and never-ending. Will we be "treated" to a 4-year campaign next time? Will the President launch campaign commercials the day after inauguration?
Everyone has made up their mind. They will either vote for one candidate, or none at all.
The great undecided, who may choose Kerry OR Bush, doesn't exist, in my opinion. They probably wont show up anyway, even if they do exist.
Diet Bush, or Diet Kerry, the American people will lose either way.

While Bush, and Cheney were smart enough to exploit loopholes in the system to avoid going to vietnam . .. Kerry didn't.
In america, we idolize people who can avoid their obligations by finding loopholes in the system, and Kerry didn't demonstrate this essential skill. I don't think this country could handle a leader who would go to the frontlines for a cause. We would much rather have a leader like Bush . . . someone who ducks his duty in the war, but remains "PATRIOTIC" by supporting the war.

I have no opinion on this Kerry guy, but what you just said doesn't make any sense to me. If he lives near the coast and has enough money to have a hobby like this why can't he do it? On Bush and Kerry
Kerry is like a box of chocolates you ever know what you're gonna get.
Bush, on the other hand, is like a kick in the balls, painful, debilitating and try as you might you can't ignore him.
Like that monty python sketch, you've won a poke in the eye or a kick in the shins.
Here, pretty much anywhere outside the US that is, Bush has come across as stupid, arrogant and aggresive. Everytime i hear him speak it's sobering like a smack in the face or a brick through a plate glass window.
What the US needs to protect itself is not more guns or more vassel states, what it needs is a decent foreign policy one that doesn't treat other countries like dirt.
So you can roll the dice with Kerry or continue appearing uncaring, careless and abrasive thruogh Bush.
However, when Kerry turns out to be just as bad i reserve the right to slight him also. It's not like only Republicans start wars.
So if you're from the USA, i'm sorry that your shitty system only gives you two choices.

Most recent was Madeline Albright's lament about how North Korea "cheated" on their treaty and made nukes anyway.

How many dollars, oil, and technical expertise did America give to North Korea so they would not develop nukes, just to have them turn around and make the nukes anyway?
The N. Koreans laughed all the way to bank as Albright and Clinton and Carter, assured us that they had made a victory for peace. It would be a sad joke if it wasn't so serious.
I wonder if we checked up on their progress even once before they announced their nuke??
More interesting, would be if non-weapons-grade nuclear technology was converted to make the nukes possible.

"We didn't want them to make a nuclear bomb, so we helped them build a nuclear bomb."

You could bet that if he took documents that pointed to Bush's failure to stop 9-11, we would have seen those documents.
Berger would have made sure they were delivered to the 9-11 commission, who would have jumped on them like flies on shit.
More likely, the documents made him and Clinton look bad.
Whatever the blame, he stole 30 or so documents, and the public(this means you) will never really know what they contained.
Perhaps they contained even more stunningly ,imcompetent actions by that administration.
I want to see the surveillance tape of Berger stuffing papers into his pants and socks.
That would be hilarious......... until he gets off with no criminal charges, then it will depressing.

I can see how those appear contradictory.
When Kerry voted for the war, the war resolution was one with which he agreed. The resolution was reworked, and then because of certain provisions he voted against it. Particularly he took issue with the provission that the president could only use force in instances sanctioned by the UN security council. In the event Iraq was a threat, or perhaps in the event of another attack, Kerry believes the president needed to have the right to use forces as seen fit to deal with the threat. Here he was voting against the resolution, in order to preserve our countries right to defend ourselves at the highest level.
So first he votes to give the president the power to go to war . . . and then he votes against an Iraq resolution . . . but his position was consistent with the changes in the resolution.
Then there is the flip about "He supported a war against Iraq" and the flop "He criticizes the war in Iraq" .
He supported an invasion, and strongly urged the President to avoid doing a unilateral strategy in Iraq. When Bush issued the ultimatum to "produce weapons by this date or we invade" (paraphrased), he cut short the inspection process. Then Bush gave the UN the finger and went in against a world voice against this war. A war that generated the largest protests ever, before the war started, globally.
It's the unilateral approach with which Kerry disagrees. It's good for American security for Americans to be liked in the world. He thinks an invasion under different leadership done properly could have produced better results.
So anyways, Kerry supported an invasion done with a multinational effort, and controll transfered to the UN quickly so a focused reconstruction effort could being. Kerry also argues convincingly that contracts should have been awarded with open bidding, instead of the process we used which further alienated the US from the world. He was against a unilateral war, and against a resolution that may have limited our ability to defend outselved.
This one sucks. Kerry voted for the 87 billion which would have been produced by rolling back the presidents tax cut on those making 400,000USD or more.library of congress dot gov
but then Kerry then voted against a bill where the funding was to appear out of thin air. senate.gov
So, IF the president would have been willing to repeal his tax cut a little bit on the half millionaires . . . the troops would have been supported with everything the president asked for. Kerry didn't want to issue the president a red inked blank check for this war. By this time, we already knew it was the wrong war. We also know the costs of war is paid highest by those with the least in society. I think he voted against this out of protest; it was obviously going to pass. Only 11 people not running for office voted against it.
