I just think its funny how people get so upset at the "gay" thing. It just looks well um errr so gay. Youve defended it all the way to page 7!!!

I don't see why it really matters unless you, yourself, are offended by the word gay. I have a black gay friend that uses all those offensive words. He calls the "thugs" walking down the street, niggers. He calls other people, gay or not, fags, and he says things are gay.

In my opinion the only people that get all worked up about words are the people that just like to argue.

There has got to be a seperationg between what your talking about (mattkain) and the "gay undertones" of footbag I was trying to make a point about..

I REPEAT. I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST GAYS. IM NOT HOMOPHOBIC.

I just want to see the sport grow. Those "undertones" are holding the sport back. Ive heard numerous people say it looks "gay". They should have jerseys and be more organized looking. Thats allllll.

It is about having a sense of respect for people, about recognizing someone's worst as a person regardless of what group you want to throw them under or label you want to put on them. It's about not demeaning people just because you can, or everyone else is, or you feel you can do so with impunity. If you can't see how language like that is disrespectful, then you really should take a step back and look at how you're leaving your life.
