I had fun, didn't do well though. Didn't place. The thing was judged by teachers, and they were all music teachers, so obviously the judging was biased. I feel like a dickwad saying that but I'm positive that's what it is. I dropped a few times, but really I think it was better than what got first place (a band ensemble that really wasn't that great) and what got 2nd and 3rd (a pretty good dancer which I thought was better than the ensemble and a singer who was good, but boring).

Meh. Whatever. I had fun and everybody said I was their favorite act. I think I was pretty humorous, I did a little striptease thing at the beginning where I took my pants off. I kept going after I dropped it one time, which got a few laughs.

But yeah, whatever. I thought it was pretty good for 30 minutes of practice the day of the show.

Like 5 people gave me a dollar because they felt bad for me, so I made my money back (I had to pay to enter).

Hmph. Disappointed in myself.

I had another session last night. I forget the highlights but I told a lot of them to Matt and Zeb.

Went to the gym today. Apparently there is an art gallery upstairs. It was interesting, but I wasn't impressed.

Played footbag for about 30 minutes, biked 2 miles (9 minutes), then played some hardcore table tennis (I really suck at ping pong). I think If I could figure out that wrist snap I would have a ridiculous return, I get really good power but it just sails on me sometimes. My serve is pretty good though, it just barely clears the net and it's hard to tell the depth of it. Yum yum.

Giants won, what a great super bowl!

just out of curiosity, have you hit plasma on either side? quantum DOD.

i dont plan to any time soon really. my quantum is decent and my DOD's are ok but i think im going to wait until both are great, not just decent. i tried once and it was pretty unrealistic at this point, so im not going to bother.

but i thought you might have.

Yeah I've hit it both sides but I think the majority of them have been the. I'm actually planning on hitting plasma or spanishfly for my sick 1 this month.

honestly. i'd go for plasma. and i think you would have a better chance that it would be 'the'.

Laughed at the striptease. Glad you had fun. that's what it's all about!

props on dod swirl. and the shuffle.

Did you capture the legbeaters before the camera died? I'd love to see your atomics.

No, Kevin. It died right after I pressed the button, so right after I stopped looking at the screen basically. :(

I was really mad, it was the best flip legbeater I've ever done.

Whatever, Cody and I hope to broadcast our session on Thursday at 3:00 Central, everybody is invited to watch! I'll try and get some atomics.

I'm going to stitch a bag. Printed the pattern out. Now I gotta scrounge up some fabric...

And needles.

I'll get some filler from Cody.

Heh. I couldn't even get through the first pent without getting bored. I doubt I'll finish this bag... :P

Played footbag for a couple hours. It was in a couple sessions, but still pretty long for me. My upper back was hurting for some reason, and it wouldn't pop. :(

New tricks too!!!!! YEAHHH!!!!

- Legbreaker (fs Legbeater)
- Wonton ss Clipper bs
- FS Tripwalk (I don't think that one's new, but it felt great!)
- FS Toe Blur, what a fun trick!!!
- Super long tiltless run for a warm up
- Symp Pixie>Symp Mirage rpt, starting on strong
- pdx Drifter bsos again
- I can't get flip smoke for some reason... hmmm...
- Lots of super long shuffle runs with bs quantum. Some tapping pickups too.
- I couldn't even get ducking clipper b2b... wtf?

I think that's enough, although there was more stuff.

I also posted some drawings in the artwork thread. Check 'em out.
