My quantums never cracked. It may be because you walked around in them. I use my exclusively for shredding.

First class done. 95 on the final, A overall for the class. Really really happy about that. It was intro to mass communication. Hopefully I can keep this A streak going.

Pretty lame night. Went to two parties, didn't really love it. Got a lot better though when I got cheeseburgers at 2:30 a.m with one of my friends. We talked about making our own clothes since we like weird stuff.

I'm sitting here now stretching out my hips. Its 3:44 in the morning. I was watching a lot of old vasek footage and realized I have all those tricks, its just that I'm really not consistent with them. I bail too much. I can hit lines on the level that he could back in 04, but they only happen once or twice a session. After finals I'm really going to try to get sharp. I just want to have everything really together. I just think I'm pretty inconsistent.

Here's hoping for some breakthroughs.

Night.

Blog,

So it’s the day before Christmas eve, which in my family means running around and cleaning. Oh, im back in Bethlehem for the holidays, guess I should’ve mentioned that. Before I left for the holidays I got an apartment for next year, which is pretty good. Before that, I got my best friend at school into footbag and gave him a pair of old lavers and bag so he could practice over break. He’s already hit mirages, legovers, things like that. It’s really cool that he plays and is one of my close friends. It’s funny when we are out and he’ll be like air shredding or something, makes me feel really good. I think footbag will make us even better friends.

I hadn’t been home 48 hours before my mom said I was out of control and that she wished I was going back to school. That is because my cat pissed on my carpet and I got really mad (I thought this was justified). I guess freaking out over cat piss means I’m out of control, whatever.

I saw Charlie Wilson’s War the other night with some friends, it was pretty good. They didn’t really like it, but I did because I like history. My dad majored in history in college so maybe it rubbed off on me. I’m not sure. I think I could be a history teacher one day.

I don’t really like movies because they always make me want to be an actor. Like I have some hidden desire to be an actor and stuff. Maybe this is just my materialization of that desire to be famous everyone has. I’m not sure.

I got my grades back from school. I had one class this semester that kicked my ass up and down the block. It was Business Calculus. I can’t believe I just capitalized it. Anyway, my math programs in high school sucked, so I was totally clueless in that class. I ended up getting a C in it, which is the first C I think I’ve ever gotten at college, let alone my entire life. I’m just glad I passed it and now it’s done. I got A’s in everything else except econ (b+). A pretty good semester despite that stupid math course.

My next semester should be a little bit easier. Accounting, business law, advanced media studies, public speaking, genetics. Only 5 classes, last semester I had 6 which kind of sucked.

So I didn’t really ask for much for Christmas so I was really happy when my parents told me they are paying for some of my Chicago trip, which means now I don’t have to worry about money much anymore. Oh, btw, I have a lot of bags for sale for new years jam, and if you’re not going but you still want one, PM over the next 2 days and I can get you one. This is the one time I actually am overstocked and not going down a list of orders.

So the next few days are basically family shit and then I’ll go to new years jam. I really want to bowl before I go, and then bowl there. I really like bowling, I don’t know why, but if I couldn’t play footbag I might get serious about bowling, its so frikken dope. I’m not even good, I just go to beat my personal scores. I don’t know what my highest game ever is.
We have wireless internet in my house now, its pretty badass how I’m sitting on my bed and I’m on the internet.

I played last night in brand new lavers, .5 size smaller. Kind of a weird session. Hit some ok stuff though. Switched to units in the middle, played a little better.

I hope I get something unique for Christmas, but my parents really never surprise me in that area. My mom said she only got me 4 things. I think one of them is more tungsten, one of them is more facile. I’m not sure about the other 2. I’ve kind of outgrown Christmas I guess, which pretty much sucks. I remember being so stoked back in the day and now I’m really not at all. I remember me and Ashley would go over to each other’s houses and see what we got and stuff. I remember sledding on Christmas day one year when it snowed with Ashley.

I’m trying to get an internship this summer at this marketing firm in new york city. It would be frikken awesome if I could live in the city, shred with the guys, and have this dope internship.

I kind of thought about my future the other day and don’t really know if marketing is what I want to do. I’m still pretty confused even though my parents think I have this path set out and its all gravy. Yea, I gotta keep figuring shit out.

I got this book called “I hope they serve beer in hellâ€

I'm exactly the same way. I thought I was the only one. Weird.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Hey David can i ask what degree or qualification you are studying for? Cos that seems to be an extremely diverse mix of subjects for your next semester, just wondering what it is working towards.

I'm sitting here on a leather chair in the middle of what they call the United Red Carpet Lounge. To my left is Steve Goldberg, who just saved me about 4 hours of frustration and probably even more waiting in this airport.

Let me reverse. A few minutes ago I was sitting waiting for my flight home from NYJ when they gate monitor suddenly went black. Goldberg's flight had been cancelled and he ended up coming into the airport about the same time as me. Anyway, once my flight was cancelled we headed to this flight club he's a part of and they got me on a new flight right away.

This could have been a repeat of my charlotte story which you might've have heard of (i blogged it a few pages back), but instead I am sitting here typing on his mac book waiting for my flight.

This is perhaps the reason that I play footbag now. Footbag is still fun and it was fun this weekend, but the most fun I had were doing non-footbag things with my footbag friends. Things like watching skateboarding with peter bowler, going grocery shopping with a crew of like 8, playing monopoly, doing magic with Cale. It seems as if my love of the game is rising in some ways and decreasing in others.

This is not to say that I did not have fun actually playing footbag at this tournament. I played the best I probably have since my injury, hit a lot of good stuff in competition, and ended up winning every event, which is cool. I got pushed creatively by Evan and Laroche. I got pushed endurace wise by late night sessions with Skaggs and Miley. I did have fun while I was playing, but perhaps more just laying on the floor in the dark telling michael jackson jokes.

Footbag is weird for me now. If I wrote this post 3 hours ago I'd tell you about how sore I am and how my legs hurt and how I'm wearing dirty clothes and how busy this stupid airport is. But instead I'm happy because one of my good footbag friends bailed me out of a situation that could've been terrible.

I'm not sure if I will blog this event detail by detail heavily. I had a great idea to make a big video and narrate it but I actually never even pulled out my camera to film. In retrospect I should've, it would have been an enjoyable video for everyone.

Anyway, Goldberg has to catch his plane and I must do the same in an hour. So until next time.
