when i smoked i was using it as a party drug to it's fullest extent...but it really isn't a good one to use for partys...now that i think of it..nor is anyother drug for that matter.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you guys on this one.

I think it depends on who the person is and what the precise setting is, but Ive combined weed with every party setting you can imagine and it went swell.

I don't like to party on weed either, but everyone has different highs that usually match their personality anyways. You've got a lot of energy Tom, so I could definetly see you partying on weed.

I plan to stop smoking by the end of Winter Break (Early Jan.) and hope to stay weed free until Summer.

i smoke pot on like a daily basis, taking off the occaisional day or two...i dont even really like it anymore, its starting to get boring. My only problem is that basically everyone in my town, no matter what group of kids smokes pot. Like right now i probably smoke as much as i do because my best friend is a huge stoner, but even if i ditched him everyone else ik smokes pot also. Its kinda annoying, and im thinking of quitting soon and only drinking...ill keep you all updated on what happens.....

and YES, WEED IS DEFFINETLY A PARTY DRUG!! If i do stop smoking, the only times i will smoke is at parties. I love smoking at parties and juss gettin crunk as hell and partyin my ass off, but i guess it depends on the person. I have found that its much harder to talk to girls when im stoned, i wonder why this is the case? :?

I don't get one thing...Why do people always set a date when they quit? Why not just starting now?
I'm not pointing (only) dragonhack, but so many people say that they'll start next week/month/holiday/year etc. Why?

because sometimes just quitting isn't the best thing to do, said person could have dates beforehand that involve alot of stress(ie. work) like in my case..on the 28th i will be off to new york for new years soo their won't be much of any stress getting in the way of my quitting..work on the other hand is more than enough of a reason for me to indulge in smoking..

if nobody objects I'm moving this topic to the kicking circle as it appears to be people talking about their own experiences rather than discussing some more general form of idea and as such has no place in this subforum.

i really don't think weed is a party drug at all in my opinion, But i think it depends on the personality.

I would rather smoke weed on my lonesome or with good friends.

There are definately better drugs to use if you wanna party hardy

Or so I have heard

Fucking comedown.

I quit smoking weed four days ago, and I really feel pretty damn good. I feel energized and just... better. I really think that knowing you're dependent on something (No matter it is) hurts your spirit a lot.

And really, weed is such an easy drug to quit. The only real symptoms I've noticed is a bit of increased irritability and trouble sleep (Nyquil seems to help this). When I was smoking I thought the only time I could really have fun was while being stoned, but now it is kind of the reverse.

I hope I can reach a point in my life where I can have a couple of hits every once in awhile (And be absolutely skulled off it), but for now I really don't feel the need to smoke.

I went from being a pot-head supreme to smoking once in the last two weeks! :D

I haven't felt this alive in years! So much energy! So much better shred! AMAZING!!!!!

That doesn't mean I "quit" weed....it just means i've stopped being a stoner. Once or twice a month actually lets you enjoy the mellow instead of being so used to smoking it's a routine.

I haven't smoked weed since the beginning of february!

Best thing I have ever done in my entire life. The second i stopped being a pot head, my acne cleared up and I have had amazing luck with the ladies.
Coincidence?
I THINK NOT!!!!
