Why does Daryl always write so much in here ?

Keep a diary of what you're hitting, what's frustrating you, and your goals.

what the heck daryl, seems like your injury improved your game much more than it affected it negatively :P
Great to hear that you manage all standard sets w/out problems, being honest, I'm afraid having you as an opponent @ euros and worlds

a little request till we meet again (2weeks left to bust):
alpine legbeater
phoenix (must have hit that yet if you did pixie ducking legover)
atomic gyro mirage
smudge>legbeater>inf>far dlo
all bs of course
what about eggbeaters?

Nice challenges man - you really hit the nail on its head there, Daniel :D

Atomic ducking is definitly on my wish list, so are eggbeaters .
The combo sounds a lil harsh, but i should manage, at least on one side

During warm up for a footbag show i hit some tripless links ; the first combo
i've hit already, but it was cool to hit it again - twice, on command and with
no hassle - like i own this shit : atomsmasher>ducking symp mirage>dim

Then i was like "does anybody want to see toe blur>toe blur, or is it
just me ? " i tried starting on flip and managed to get some real nice
sets, properly clean and aggressive, maby like a shaolin monk that
hasnt got laid inna while .

Bea reminded me of the importance of that fracture of a pause between moves, i tired again and i hit it .
hysterics

TOE BLUR>TOE BLUR !!!

yeah

Hahahahaha geiles teil alta !

Hab lang nischt mehr geposted, sommerloch nigga !

Wow, i've made it back to the writing board :P I dont got too much
time on my hands, but i wanna give props to Les Pieds,
all participants, the sun, the trees, the crazy lake and the alps
for making these days so special and precious, for suspending all daily reality is so that everyones mind is bent on beer, footbag and friendship only !

I came 7th in intermediate freestyle which isnt too bad, but i could
do better - i guess preparing a routine helps a lot !

People also gave me good advice on my game - the gist would be :
more clipper moves - and even if i couldnt play fully, i had some
good runs here and there and a good time all the way .
Thanks .

On my way back i had a weird experience . I slept unusually sound
until the train got to Ulm around 6 in the morning. Seeing all these
perfectly adapted and unhappy looking business people, talking either
about annoying personal issues or about all the sad stuff happening
all around the globe, cruelly forced me to admit that there is a rainy,
stressful world called worker ant reality outhere, and its trying to suck
me in, barely recovering from paradise and not even home.

Anyway, i was falling back to sleep soon, and the pictures were lucid
and the dreams heavy .
In the last segment of that dream i was smoking a joint on a train.
As i closed my eyes to enjoy the inhaling business more, a police
man grabbed my shoulders and shook me, screaming about.
I woke up, heart-racy and empty .
There was this african dude standing in front of me, shaking me
quite intensly, and when i opened my eyes, he said " final stop munich"
with the most warm and beaming voice.
I was happy and kinda confused as you might imagine .
I staggered out the allready empty train, with my 50 cent jacket,
my sleeping bag and this crazy rucksack, when two, up to no
good looking mu'fuckas told me to halt to show me their drug police ids .

And they searched me. For ages. Boy, i wasnt impressed, i wanted to
go home and recover, and i definitly didnt need two ugly policemen
going thru all my things touching me all over in front of all these useless
bystanders .
I didnt have anything on me, so they didnt find anything, but it took them forever to believe that.
There were only two comforting things about that unneccesary
experience : most of my backpacks' contents stank miserabily
and i knew that i was home in fucking Bavaria at last !

----

FootBag . Well, this is what i've hit at euros :

weaving legover, toe"popping"whirl, inspinning rake

whirl>butter rpt, ducking clipper>whirl rpt

blurry whirl

tomahawk

paradox tap

In the last weeks i didnt get to play much with other peeps, but once.
Bea and me had a good session, where we skooled tripless, illusions
and clipper to clipper shizzle, plus stepping .
I had two good sessions at my moms place, and thats about it, although
i always had a bag on me and clothes i could shred in more or less.
The only thing note worthy coming from these " i wait for the bus"
entrainements is the rise of clipper combos :D .

Stuff i hit since euros :

tripless :
blur>atomsmasher bsos
rip>blur bs
dimwalk>blur bs
rip>blur>atom
atom>toe blur>ducking symp mirage

and my first 4 4's : atom>atom>ds mirage>dimwalk

zooming clipper both sides

symposium whirl :!:

new guiltless combos : osis>dlo, osis>whirl, pixie(ss)clipper>whirl all bs.

paradon>osis bs, magellan>tap>butter>p mir rpt

quantum legover>dlo>plo>butter bs

gyro toe>wauxpin, spinning clipper>merkon>smear

butter>stepping leg>butter>shmoe rpt a lot
-------------

Stuff that i've hit today :

magellan>smear>ducking leg over>rpt>butter>p mir>smear>d.mir

tapping pick up x 4 8O

smear>tapping pick up rpt

tapping pick up>pixie ss pick up bs

ss butter>dlo rpt

butter>whirl>dlo bs

peeking osis

i had some good runs, my flip pixie is coming along great .
i need more illusions, clipper2clipper combos, infinities and group shred .

that was a monster post and you must be insane to read all this crap .

peace

Haven't paid much attention to your progress since we met last summer in Wroclaw. But your toe game looks really bigger!
Looking forward to shred with you at Frankfort, I think we barely kicked at euros last year since I got injured...

toe blur b2b is massive.. props!

man daryl! good to see you back!

and really splendidly written story! haha, what a shit! drug-search in the morning after that dream! I guess they thought you were from jamaica for the worlds... I feel like compañero in spirits as I have to see big cheeses every morning driving in their Porsche or standing next to me in the tube with their custom made suits... and I'm among them. welcome to the real munich world! brrrrr. :-)

cheers dude! lets roll and kick some bags. will you make it to Garching? I won't... could play later that night or on sunday evening! my hanja-bag is becoming softer and softer and my legovers and pickups feel almost like toe stalls now. got some fine new juggling fun as well! get it on! :-)

Yesterday i had a little work out shred around the corner.
I drilled the shit out of clippers, stepping out of buters and both pixie butterflies - anyone else hating on parkwalk ?

But the best feeling was this huge tiltless run that made me feel like a sexy robot on random :D .

And i figured out some 5 add whirl trix that i shall brag about soon enuff

Neww Links :

parkwalk>dlo>butter>blah bs

park>pdx mir>dim>pdx mir>park>pdx mir>d...'oh

ducking pick up> gyro toe

dimwalk>shmoe bs

tapping pick up>dso

i love ss clipper>osis rpt . it feels so wonderful, plus its a great come down
when practicing hard combos - and thats what i did today.
atomsmasher>legbeater bs, smear>atomsmasher rpt and toe blur b2b
where feeling a lot easier than they did before .

Footbag is a lot of fun these days :
flip stuff, clipper tricks, bops - everything is getting better. slowly.

new links :

ss butter>diving clipper>dlo bs

dim>rip>ducking butter

legbeater>pdx mir>plo>legbeater

quantum legover>ducking legover>rpt>butter>pdx mir rpt

atomsmasher x 4 8O :D

And another one :

I skooled downtime moves for most of the time - dlo(toe,ss,clip and pdx ),
whirl, drifter and paradon . In between i re-hit combos that were amazing
and hard not too long ago like smear>plo rpt and ducking mirage > ducking legover rpt ; the first one i could hit from bs with ease :)

butterfly>whirl>whirl(>butter>pdx mirage) bs

butter>dlo>ss dlo>butter>dlo

paradon>pdx mirage rpt from bs

smear>paradon>pdx mirage rpt
:P

paradon>ducking clip one side, paradon>pdx dlo first try ever other side

atomsmasher>paradon

swirl>osis
i finally managed to seal swirl
with a guiltless move - say what you want about osis, but i'm with Cod here, thinking it deserves nine fucking adds !

I also had some decent runs, but the newly acquired variety cut them
kinda short, so meh to that

I guess you should be good at dlo, if you school them.

You got good toes and a very good mirage.

what about atomic dlo
ducking dlo
pixie dlo

hum Daryl- what is up with these tricks?

Awesome new stuff Daryl - I really liked Quantum Legover > Ducking Legover (rpt) drill, I pictured it in my head and now I really want to try it myself :D Props on all the DLO's, they are hard! Smear > Paradon > Pdx Mirage and Paradon > Pdx DLO are nice too :D Keep it up!

Thanks guys :P the dlo encouragement is bearing its first fruits,
i came close to some of the stuff you suggested ...

Today i wasnt in the mood for any diciplined drilling orgies, i was more
or less just fucking around with new or hard links. And i tried to analyze
in what way i do tricks for comparing my actual form to what i believe they
should look or feel like .
My steps are hideous :x , but i managed to hit rip>blur a coupleof times.
The next goal is the good old rip>side rpt -
i have to hit that soon if i want to get anywhere in life .
I worked on some other fours ending in butter and parkwalk is the trick
rom hell - i bet Himmler is busting some now 8O !

On a lighter note, osis, infinities and whirls are on their long way up,
and if i muster the courage and endurance, my flip pixie could be a source
of neverending joy soon  .

Nu Shizzle

on sunday :ducking legover x 5

smear>ducking legover rpt

today :butter>shmoe>smear rpt ( is that new ? )

legbeater>ducking paradox mirage

both paradox blender
8) 8) 8)

that was quite funny - i came surprisingly close, trying it on one side just for the funk of it . Then i was like " are you sure, that you arent just
doing an exagerated far osis"?,
I proceeded to hit some pdx whirls, far osii and some blenders just to
make sure i'm not wasting my time there.
After these little experiments i hit pdx blender on my strong side, still
a bit sceptical - and just out of respect for uncle Anz and uncle Grant,
i tried it on my flip, and i hit it first try. hoooray.

you definately have to manage to come to worlds, even if it's for one day, we have to shred! huge new stuff and amazing drills (love that lb>duckpdxmir, add something to it!)
what about lb>near/pdx dlo>as>toeblur>pdxdrifter eh? nice 5trick combo imo, think you can do it.
can you do symp whirls?
