lol, Tiger Woods sucks ass no matter what system you're playing it on. And when has Mario Party ever (After Mario Party 3) had any fun game play of any kind? Yeah, Mario Party 8 was a decent refresher with a new way to play, but Mario Party will never be fun like the original 3 were.
I'm not fighting your dislike for the Wii, I'm pointing out just how obvious (In my opinion) some of your points are.
Can you tell me how you're going to play super smash bros on a wii?
The gamecube version was all about combinations of buttons timed perfectly. How is it possible to do that well with motion sensing? It won't be. The game will come out, you'll all buy it, pretend you love it, and then stop playing it in 2 weeks.

I heard you have to use a GCN controller. And if that's true, then great, I don't mind. I have several WaveBird controllers, and I wouldn't mind playing a new SSB game on a new system, with the old controller. As long as it's online, you know?
And Nintendo has always perfected their "golden" games. Zelda was absolutely flawless. There's no reason to believe they won't perfect SSBB before releasing it. I trust that Nintendo knows what they're doing.
So it doesn't matter to you that they release all these shitty games that weren't tested and fixed properly as long as they release 4 games that they actually put effort into?
JSACK wrote:alright well me and obara'bars, shredded our dicks off, since we are both in high school, obviously there is some sort of talent show
No erm actually I just wanted to tell you that you will be able to play SSBB with the Wiimote (alone), with the Wiimote and Nunchuk (together), with the Classic Controller (Wii) and / or with the old Gamecube controllers...So you have the free choice how you want to play it and which fits best for you
And HG ..just tell me ANY console that does only release well thought out games ? Playstation and X-Box (and especially PC though this isn't a console but still one of the most important gaming platforms) release games that are soo bad I actually wonder who wasted his time to produce that crap but anyways I'm sick of discussing because I love my Wii and if you don't - I couldn't care less.
I will be playing my games and laugh up my sleeve about all the people out there who buy the expensive consoles and play the same games all over again with better graphics...
Cheerio !

Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while...you could miss it
Other consolese release bad games, true, but the wii has 25 bad games and 2 good games (i might be exaggerating about the two good games. Wii Play and Wii Sports are the only ones I enjoy)
XBox 360 and PS3 at least have selections. Every Wii game is either based off of a kids movie, or a poorly thrown together compilation of retarded mini games.
JSACK wrote:alright well me and obara'bars, shredded our dicks off, since we are both in high school, obviously there is some sort of talent show
nintendo has a different breed of video games... while ps3 and xbos have their own. with playstation (consoles and handhelds) all the games seem the same to me. all these ww2 fighting games... first person shooters... theyre all the same just with different characters and story lines.
i like mini games... no matter how retarded they are. games dont have to make you strategize... im perfectly happy shooting carrot juice into the goggles of raving rabbids to drown them.

I played that game for an hour and a half straight two days ago. Addicting as all hell.
You know... Nintendo puts out 4 awesome games for every 10 they put out. While Sony and Microsoft put out almost less than 1 awesome game for every 10.
No, Nintendo does not put out 4 great games to every 10. That's just your opinion. Nice try though.
I've just realized that everyone wants something different from their respective consoles. People who don't expect much graphically or game play depth wise tend to lean towards the Wii because of the "fun" new controller. These people wouldn't call themselves gamers and enjoy a simple console with minimal features that is justified by it's small price tag. This is great, unless you consider yourself a gamer. Then with given time, you can truly understand it's great faults like I and Henry have and realize WHY it's only $250.
It's $250 because that sells, compared to $400 and $600. I'm a gamer too. I rip it up on Need for Speed on my PS2 quite often. I tear people apart in Halo 2 just about every other day. I've played Final Fantasy 7 ten times through. I have every Zelda game ever made. And I'm always trying out new games. I also used to play Diablo II LoD religiously, got into WoW for a little bit, and now I'm done with PC games altogether. I played Pokemon Red, Blue, Green (Japanese version.), Yellow (Even played Pokemon Stadium so I could get my "Surfin' Pikachu" without a GameShark.), Gold and Silver, and played Crystal for about a month before finally quiting altogether. Played both Golden Sun games until my characters reached level 70+ each. That takes a long ass fuckin' time, considering it's a GBA game.
I may not be hardcore into RPGs anymore. But I'm definitely a gamer, and I know what a good quality game is, and what isn't. 95% of anything on the PS2/3 and XBox(360), is absolutely unoriginal crap, that is redone with either new controls, and/or better graphics. Same game play, same old shit. They're like shotguns. They spray in all directions and eventually, they get a game or two that hit their mark. While, what I would say, 15-20% of the games Nintendo puts out, are amazing, good graphics (Meaning they don't strain your eyes.), amazing game play, great size, great price, good story lines, and just a great feeling when you play them. (Anyone else all of a sudden just smile when they first put Mario Sunshine into their GameCube?)
As I've said before. What's the difference between Madden 2006 and Madden 2007? Some makeup, and $50. Same game play, same controls, same everything. Same, god damn game. What's Madden 2008 gonna have that Madden 2007 doesn't? Nothing. And you people bitch about kids wasting money on a food fight...

I've never used a Wii. I don't plan on it.
I like Madden. If you're good at Madden, you understand what's different about the games. Just like Halo (which I hate), Mr. Switchy.

Not like Halo... Believe it or not, it's not the multiplayer that I'm hyped up for over Halo 3. I'm hyped for the story. Madden does not have a story. Madden... is Madden. It doesn't change enough to justify $60... No way in hell. You can make all the changes they make to that game, with downloadable content. There's no reason for this $60 disk with the new updates for players stats and what not. A simple 2 minutes download could do this. But then they wouldn't make any money.
Halo, and other games that have continuing stories such as Zelda, those are worth $60, because it's a new game. New story, new game play, stepped up graphics, new and better multiplayer options, new game styles and types, new weapons and other such things that alter the way the game played before.
You can hate Halo and love Madden while I despise and hate Madden and love Halo. It doesn't change how I view you as a person (Maybe how I view you as a gamer, but what does that matter?), but in the end... I'll know who's getting more bang for their buck.
lol, the only NFL game I ever found entertaining for a while was NFL Blitz 2001 for N64. That was hilarious.
Whatever, in the end no video game is worth $60, no console is worth any $, and we should all be spending more time outdoors and talking with people and being around friends than wasting our fucking time playing video games

Blasphemy!!!
They're worth money as long as you keep your priorities straight.

You see... I see no differences between Halo 1 or 2 (yes, I've played both).
I see a lot of differences between Madden 2006 and 2007. I like it. I hate Halo. I'm just saying it's all perspective.
You see a bunch of differences (I think you stated them in this thread? maybe a different one) between the different Halos, but to me they're all the same.
You can't "know" who's getting the most bang for their buck, because I would never spend 60 dollars on a game I don't like.
Stop acting like everyone should be just like you and be in love with Halo. It makes no sense.
And I agree completely with Henry, which is why my sister has my PS2 and stuff now.
NFL Blitz does rock though.

brian and i went and rented mario party 8. i loved mario party on 64 up to the 3rd one. i love how the game boards are similar to the old game but completely different. i dont know about the top hat man... but dry bones is a cool character. i think 8 is awesome. the mini games work perfectly fine for me. mini games are like my favorite type of game and there are so many you can unlock! i will be buying this one after i purchase a ds lite and some games for it.
