I like the idea of shredding at 12 instead of 2 :)

Just hope my hangover will be gone by then :)

Shred on Tuesday, Aug 16 at 2:00PM at Gompers park in the always empty, always shady rollerhockey court.

If you're driving, just head to Pulaski and Foster, and head West on Foster until you see the Forest District building- pull in and walk west along the park trail until you come upon the roller hockey court where we'll be shredding.

If you're taking your bike, there are a lot of winding, hilly bike trails running along to the chicago river.

Gomper's Park is located between Cicero and Pulaski on Foster, you can get off at the Foster Exit, and head east via the I-94 expressway.

Who feels like a roadtrip

Labor day weekend first weekend of september im willing to drive anywhere as long as we can make it in one day and peeps arnt shady with gas money.

Josh elmer has continually told me that he wants to do this and i can get my dads car that can comfortably hold 4 (including me)

post some ideas or ignore the post and we will shred in chi town like always.

Later guys

The first thing that comes to my mind is east cost cause the west coast is to far and happens to be the most boring drive in the world lol

The west coast might be too far for you of weak wills (and pockets), but the drive is beautiful if you do it right. Plus the west coast offers a free place to stay. Or at least a cheap one if I don't know you. j/k. Not that I think any of you'd make that drive... just saying.

moxie

i have driven west many times and guess what its physically imposible to get there without going through nebraska (the worst but quickest) north and south dakota black hills are ok scenary but most of the states are flat and boring, iowa, misouri, oklahoma, texas,

Even the first 6 hours of colorada suck ass, There is no way to drive west without being bored to death for at least 12 fricking hours of it

As a matter of fact i will go on record and say I hate nebraska more than any other place i have ever been to, what a fricken waste of space

Driving west SUCKS, It is worth it once you get to colorada montana (WYOMING SUCKS) utah and well i have never been to california but no matter how beautifull those states are you still have to endure nebraska, iowa, dakotas, for more hours overall, I CURSE THE MIDDLE STATES TO ROAD TRIP HELL

God knows we've tried. Speaking of which whats up with WV Jam? Telling me "we could use so & so's car or this other person's car" is different from tellin me, "we ARE using so & so's car" know what I mean?

well im not an official member of CIC
so i can plan this out properly

I already talked to my dad we can use his car no problem

he will get the car road trip ready I.e. oil change check fluids/brakes

The question is should we get the hotel. it sound like the hotel is the place to be, from what i read but i love to camp and have a sweet tent and it would be alot cheaper. money is not an issue and as long as i dont have to pay for more than half the hotel i could care less about the 80 bucks a night. so i guess im leaning towards hotel.

i hope someone else knows how to drive stick so i can get a break if i get sleepy, if not no worries i have driven 9 hours without stopping 4 times in one year so im sure i can handle it

This is what i was thinking we reserve the hotel and request an early check in. we leave at 9m and get there around 7, take a nap wake up and SHRED party shred party shred drive home (in that exact order) :)

I really hope we can arrange an early check in cause god dam im gonna need a nap before the events kick off.

On mondy i need to be back by 1am the latest so depending on whats going on that day and what time everyone else has to leave will kind of leave at whatever time suits the group.

So far its me zeke and maybe riele

you guys will need to pack pretty light my dad has a small but comfortable car and i would like room for at least one decent sized cooler and maybe even my mini grill. If more than 4 wanna go with its out of my hands i have thought of other ways of doing it but aside from pitching in money for a rental van i dont have any other way .you the leftovers will have to figure out their own transportation.

I cant WAIT, i feel like watching road trip the movie.
