Kevin, you talking to me? It seems I have a few clones running around the globe as I have heard of many Mike Anello sightings in the past.
Paul, see you at 8. Call to confirm the spot whenever you can.
Peace.

awesome 3 HOUR 2 MAN session with mike tonight
downtime whirl clicked today, i hit paradox and blurry whirl much easier than ever before, and then i was doing it midstring and i almost nailed my first 5>5>5 but i wont post what it was till i hit it. my first flip blurry whirl and paradox whirl, and now they are almost easy.
Highlights
flip paradox and blurry whirl (though id only hit it 3 times ever on my 'strong' side) id say now my strong and weak sides have flipped.
flip whirling set is now pain free, expect to see some both sided whirling stuff soon
phasing was chest high today
1 trick away from whirl > drifter > torque > rpt
blizzard > pixie whirl > far symp rev whirl
infinity swirl midstring (not too hard for me but rare)
footed reactor a bunch of times
spinning whirl (flip spinning and flip whirl, when my ankle is good again ill
hit it strong side)
dyno > torque > rpt
whirl > dyno > torque > whirl both sides
blurry whirl > far symp rev whirl > turbine (dyno motor)
rev whirl > far rev whirl > rpt > far rev whirlx4 > far symp rev whirlx2
spinning that trick i invented (still no name)
whirl > drifter > rpt
just about every one of those preceded a string as well
i did roll my right ankle so i wasnt doing a lot of paradox on my strong side but i did do a lot of regular whirls

Kevin,
Where do you reside? Any chance of you being in Rochester next week. Paul and I are thinking of having a mid-week session either Tuesday or Thursday night of next week. Keep in touch and let's work something out.

As Paul has mentioned and I will agree we had an awesome 2 man 3 hour session last night. I don't remember much of what I did but I had a great time and got to see Paul do a lot of things I have never seen him do before.
Some of my highlights included...
paradox mirage > whirl > repeat > paradox illusion > whirl > repeat
atom smasher flid side > string
paradox egg beater > paradon > paradox egg beater > para(drop)
blizzard > whirl > blizzard > wh(drop)
I think I am going to finally give in and do a Brocka (whatever) modification to my shoes. I don't feel that my ankle crank is that bad, but I will say once I get into a session and start to tire it does become an obvious limitation. So, snippizzle my Rod Lizzles.
I am also going to start running again. I realized the other day while watching my "10" video that that video was recorded during the time I was running 3 hours a week. I remembered that my legs were a lot faster then than they are now and I believe running was the reason. Besides, running is awesome and I should be doing it anyway.
Peace.

to me the coolest thing i saw you hit, mike was definitely the delusion you hit.
this was alesesque to the max, imagine a high double switch with toe pointed straight out and then a quick foot switch to catch it on op toe. it was the nicest looking double dex id ever seen him do. not to mention that you hadnt so much as tried it since you busted your ankle.
matt, turbine toe is doable i think, but because of my ankle i probably wont be able to play until tomorrow or saturday, but ill let you know how the attempts go. oh man it would be sooooo sick to pixie out of it, or atomic!

chris, if you're reading this, session saturday? you down?

Hey Paul good to see your still playing a lot, it was great shredding with you near the end of summer. Ive seen you posting about motor and turbine recently, and if the move is what I think it looks like, well, that seems very stylie. But the main reason Im posting is to ask you if it does look the way that I think it does.
Basically, I see motor as going into an osis but instead of acutally doing an osis you kinda do a gyro whirl where you pull the bag underneath the whirling leg to an inside stall, and then obviously turbine is the same thing but with a rev whirling dex before hand. Is that sorta right?

Kevin,
I'm sure someday we will happen to be at the same event at the same time, and then it's shred time.
Peace.

Paul Agostinelli and I had another great 3 hour 2 man session last night. Paul did really well. He has been doing whirls a lot more now than ever, both sides, no problem. He hit whirl > ripwalk > whirl a bunch of times and threw down more stepping moves as well. He also hit paradox whirl and blurry whirl a few times. I don't have a whole lot to report for myself but I will list a few accomplishments.
- paradox mirage > ducking butterfly > repeat > paradox illusion > ducking butterfly > repeat
- gyro symposium mirage (only one side)
- blizzard > whirl > repeat
- paradox mirage > smear > ducking mirage > whirl (both sides)
- terrage > ducking mirage > repeat (old combo but glad I could still hit it)
- 13 infinities (much more than usual)
- toe set same symposium whirl (I love this move)
- zulu butterfly (Chris Dean style)
- paradox walkspin (or is it far walkspin?)
- double around the world (both feet, both directions)
- ripwalk (midstring - both sides)
Peace.

nice mike. little apple again! That was a fun night when we did that - one after the other. Hey but I was wondering have you ever hit terrawhirl? You should try it. Your terrages are always deep and fast so I bet you could pull it off. RFA!! WOO!

like mike said, sweet session
my favorite things from that sess
far rev whirl>torque>rpt.
whirl>ripwalk>rpt.>string
whirl>drifter>rpt. (not first time but still sweet)
whirl>drifter>torque>whirl>drifter>drop on torque
ducking mirage>toe whirl>rpt.
phasing same mirage and merkon>phasing gyro toe (phizz) in the same string
just missed the catch of blurry whirl>torquescrew
bling blang osis>gyro dyno>string
spinning butter>gyro butter>rpt>string
reverse maelstrom>pdx whirl
5 or 6 spinning moves including spinning ducking clipper and spinning butter to spinning rev whirl>(far reverse whirlx10)
little apple BSOS first try (thats what inspired the little apple stuff)
a couple of admirable attempts at big apple, its not very far off and i think it will definitely be the first symp torque i hit
blazing illusion (didnt get cleanliness confirmation from mike as i was facing the wrong direction but i can clean this no problem)
a bunch of strings using legover insides to neo and guay all mixed up, it really adds another dimension to the inside shuffle
from saturday with chris rev whirl>far rev whirl> rpt>x3>far rev whirlx4>far symp rev whirlx2
from wed> rev whirl>far rev whirl>x2>whril>spinning clipper>whirl>ripwalk>rpt

The next RFA session I can make it to will have to be the weekend after this one. Just been playing footbag by myself lately. I don't have any great highlights to post... but if anyone saw me they could tell by my face that I was trying really hard.
