Do you mean the van, Josh? That would be rad. We could try and get a multi-8 room, but it would be better if we had one more person. If Andrew and Cassy are going to share a single bed - then we could use two extra people.
Jorden and Skippy will probably want a place to stay when they get there. Tom and I only arranged crash space for us.
From past experience, Jorden would be down with a bed to sleep at. Skippy will probably be broke and will give you $20 to sleep on the floor or couch somewhere in the multi-8.
With this many people, I see the Auberge being more cost-effective and ya'll can take up a small dorm for the weekend. Less privacy though, if that's what you're after.

Hey FAT, here's a clip of Chris Dean from Weed March. It's a little lame, but it was taken by one of those million bystanders, I assume... I thought it was a neat find. I bet there's more out there.
Do I have to skip school for this deal? My parents are letting me have the day off, cept I have some things due that day and I wanna know if I gotta hand em in early.
Ok so I emailed the Auberge and they only have space in the "Big Blue" for that weekend. It's a room with 20 beds (10 bunk beds, I think) and we'd be with people we don't know. $20/night/person. There are bathrooms and showers on the floor... I dunno about this, I would MUCH rather stay at the UQAM, it's more private, but it IS $44/night/bed. We'd get our own suite with 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, couches, and extra space. I think partying there and having extra people crash, should we want either of these, would be totally possible, whereas at the Auberge they are a definite impossibility.
I also think most people will be staying at the UQAM so it will be way more fun. I think $44 a night is pretty reasonable, but it would make the trip cost more than $100. What do you guys think?

I wouldn't mind paying a little extra, but I am still pretty tight on cash. As long as we can still do the trip for less the $200 I'm down for whatever.
Well, I'd rather UQAM personally. If we check out sunday morning and get a multi-8 room, we'll only pay $88 plus tax each for the room. If Josh does come and brings the van the trip will only cost $100 each plus food/hidden costs/french hookers etc.
I know I have a job, and some of you are still in school. If everyone wants to stay at a hostel that's cool, I'll just rent a honeymoon suite at the Chateau for myself.
Alex, I think the plan is to leave for Montreal as early as we can on Friday (afternoonish), and get back by Sunday night.
PS Camille and I are playing Wednesday night near the Skydome. 9:30ish. Everyone should come!
Hey Cassy, technically, you and and Andrew would only have to pay $44 EACH for the room for the whole weekend, if you want to share a room and a single bed ...assuming we get enough people to fill a Multi-8...I'm SURE we can, there's gotta be a few people going that don't have a place to crash yet.
At the UQAM they aren't very strict, at least they weren't in my experience, so we can easily get away with not putting a few people on the list. Just one of you go and pay for your room and the other wait in the car or something... yeah, that's the way it worked- each person paid for each room, it wasn't like a group payment- which I think is best, actually. But we do have to reserve it super soon, and I think there is a deposit.

Damn. I can't make it tonight Mikeand Camille, but I HAVE TOMORROW OFF (rain=no sod) so if anyone wants to play let me know.
As for Montreal, I should know soon, but the UQAM thing sounds awesome, and partying / lenience cannot be priced.
However, I don't think I could get the van, since it's work season, and I'll have to have my car checked to see if it could make it, but if it could, I could seat 3 others comfortably or 4 quite tightly.
Let me know about tomorrow! Someone must want to play!
