I'm totally sad to think that eventually this topic will drop down into oblivion. I thanked some people in my blog, but wanted to do it right.

He ended up being our biggest sponsor and made it a much better prize pool.

PlannetFootbag Stuff:
-A lot (probably about 200) small black plannetfootbag.com stickers which we gave out to everyone.

-3 dark blue "Footbag IIIII" shirts
-1 white "Birthday Bashment Swiss footbag open 2005"

FreedomFootbags - Thanks to Daryl, we were able to give Mr. Sandbags to each classroom after we did the demo at the Aptos Academy in exchange for them letting us use the awesome venue for the weekend. Daryl gave us a ton of the instruction flyers, also a 4 panel facile bag and some videos for prizes.

Chad donated two of his newest video which had no name at that point. It wasn't done so he'll mail it to them when it's done and they contact him.

Duncan Toys: donated a bunch of Spider bags (with the instructional CDrom) which we gave to the Novice competitors and then other beginners.

For this event we were lucky enough to know a lot of people who were willing to donate bags. I've made bags before, and I know it takes a long time to make one so "thank you very much" to the next few people.

-Joe Crain organized the 4-Square event which is always a favorite event of mine (since it's the only one I compete in)
-Nick Landes donated some birthday hats and organized the informal Rippin Run event.
-Chad for judging Open and Intermediate Sick 1 and 3
-Ken for judging Novice
-Dat for driving so many people to/from Santa Cruz and doing Shred 30 judging
-Mike's mother Jean and Nat Linscott for helping me with the table at the event for a while
--Mike Hansen for helping with so much with everything. He helped me with all the money stuff making me able to know how much I could give away for prize money and how many t-shirts we'd need to sell online, he did judging/calculating for Shred 30, and helped me at the event itself. I'm sure you did other stuff that I can't remember because that's usually the case with you. Thank you SO much Mike.

Thanks to the help of all of these people, in my mind this event was a complete success. Putting an event on is the most satisfying thing I've done with footbag, and I hope to do it again.

Maybe the answer is to not let that happen.

Just kidding. If you left something at Jeremy's or the venue (like a grey shirt or power cord for your cell) please PM me letting me know what was lost and if you need it sent to you or donated to charity.

Fletcher has posted vid of the event in the videos section. Can somebody recount the Shred30 scores? I've recounted Penske's and mine, and in both cases I got different numbers than these results.

Yeah, I'm glad you brought up the Shred 30 Scores Ken because
I was a little dissappointed that I only beat you by 4 points with my hardest shred 30 I've ever done.

How did Ken Somolinos count the Shred 30's???

Where do you view them?

I really really really want to see mine cause I went off plan and don't even remember exactly what I did.

Epic Event for me because of the Wall Ball outside and Soccer and Frisbee.

We wanted to give tribute to a national hero.

Just kidding. We thought it would be funny and memorable. Plus at the time Chuck was a big part of our life since Jeremy and others were telling Chuck Norris jokes left and right and making up their own [groan]. It definitely captured some of the sense of humor and character of the club, and that’s what we wanted more than anything else.

I’m speaking for the three of us but my opinion might be different than the guys’. They didn’t reply, so it’s their fault if I’m a little wrong.

that's how I interperated it...

I only spent one week in SC with you guys and I understood all the jokes (however lame they may seem at the time) and that one night with everyone at that taco shop... man I miss you guys. much love to the SC peeps!
