^^agreed!!^^

Had a kool kick today. Literally it was f-ing kold. A new chick, yes that says chick, came out. She's really into it and really dedicated. Besides her, it was Mike, Conrad and myself.

Mike was doing his usual tiltless runs. He even had a guiltless run that had to be over 20 contacts!

Conrad's been back in Az for not even a day. His shred was a little off, but not bad.

I had a good day. Hit a couple of new trick and had some kool links. Had some good runs too, but I can't remember them.

Highlights;
Flip Matador, almost ended the run with strong matador :D
Blurriest, I had some really good looks at it, then Conrad said hit it and I did 8O 8)
torque > drifter
far dyno > torque
blender > torque, first try
legbeater > blur > tapdown > crispy barrage, fun little rewind combo!
atomic dyno > gybas
matador > gybas

*edit* How the hell I could forget this is unknown to me

I got a new pair of shred shoes today. But I'm not gonna tell, right now anyway.

Tomorrow Unity is gonna have a little kick together, then on Friday we're going down to Tucson to shred with Ken S. It'll be great!

More to come of the shoes work out or not! Most likely they will, but I need to wait till my sweet shred shoes are dead to really find out.

Had a good shred with part of the Unity Crew today! Met a new guy, Tyler. He's pretty good with kicks and toe stalls. We, Mike and I, showed him mirage and he spent quite awhile trying them. After he left we went and picked up Amber, our only shredita in Az, for some (more) kicking. She was getting atw and mirage. She is soo close on her flip mirage and atw. She's a fast learner and really dedicated to the sport!

Mike was doing good. Long tiltless/guiltless runs. He threw in a couple of toe drifters and crispy torques today.

I was doing good. I wasn't gonna shred that hard today, but I did  . I had some good runs and hit a couple of new tricks! I also did something I normally don't do, DRILLED TILTLESS! I had one run that had to be atleast 15 contacts, maybe more!

Highlights;
15+ contact tiltless
illusion > ss butter > pdx illusion > ss butter > blizzard > run
paradon, out of nowhere
fairy rev whirl
pdx drifter once
pdx torque once
matador once
sumo twice
godzilla twice
atomic dyno > gybas is a really fun combo
ducking osis > diving osis
weaving osis is weird!
came close to atomic drifter
came close to blurry drifter TWICE!!!
*Edit* Terrage, first try, and first time in shoes
*Edit #2* fairy beater > blurriest > run, yay blurriest mid-run first try

All of this was done in my new shred shoes! A break-in session is what you call it! That all I can remember. I better get to bed before I fall asleep here at the comp!

G'night footyland!

Yesterday had a GREAT kick with Ken! All in all there was 6 of us that kicked; Mike, Conrad, Amber, Sean, Ken and Myself.

We, Mike, Conrad, Amber and I, went down to Tucson and picked Ken up at the airport. Then we spent a good portion of time trying to find where Sean lived for we could kick in his garage. And needless to say, his garage is pretty much the perfect shred spot, he has the whole floor covered in the padded interlocking puzzle mats. So it ROCKED!

Sean hadn't really kicked in awhile, seeing as whenever he and Johnny where going to kick one of them ended up cancelling. He was doing pretty good for not playing for so long. His fairies were still up to par, and he was showing that had worked pixie for a little bit.

Conrad was still stuck in Fargo. Even his pixies weren't working all that great for him 8O . He did hit some kool runs, but it wasn't like the Conrad before he went back home for a couple of weeks.

Amber learned alot from Ken. She was also having a lot of fun! She was really happy to meet Ken, and to get all the help. Her biggest highlight was hitting mirage bsos, and getting a new record of alt. toe stalls, 7 or 8 if I remember right.

Mike was doing good. Since we had such a big circle he didn't really warm up that great. But after Ken and Amber decided to call it quits he really warmed up! Towards the end he was hitting tripwalks bsos quite a few times. He also got some more advice from Ken on some things.

Ken was doing GREAT, besides waking up with a slight cold. He was hitting a lot of crazy stuff all throughout the session. He had regular rubberman 3 x throughout the session, he also hit fog rubberman too. He tried to get his ten unique fearless on tape but only could get to 8. He also had a run of 5 unique triple dex tricks, which was great to watch. It was something like; E-walk > fog > smog > pigbeater > dimmiest, I think, Ken please correct me if I'm wrong  ! He also ended up hitting two new s dex tricks, check his blog for more.

I was doing good. It felt like this session I reached the next platform. I was hitting some pretty decen runs, some of which were about nine to ten contacts, which is way above my norm 8) . But this session was GREAT! Got a lot of good advice from Ken on some tricks I've been trying.

Highlights:
Vortex, finally!
Blurriest, a really good one, and right after some advice from Ken.
And I won't try to remember some of the runs. I know the last one, which was probably my best, started with fear > atom > leg.

I guess you could say I showed up Sean, Ken and Conrad on a trick. Sean was trying vortex and missed then Ken was like I'll hit one for yea and for some reason missed on a couple of really nice ones. Then Conrad tries twice and decided to give up after that. Then I get to try and first go, I hit it into a little run. It was such a great feeling hitting it seeing as I've had it off my foot for about the last month now.

Ken you need to come back down whenever you get the chance for we could that again.

To everyone,
GREAT SHRED!

Had a little sess today. It sucked big ones!

Something that contributed to the suckiness of todays sess was that school started today, what a drag.

I really only have one highlight! rev. swirling xbd toe > datw > run. It was sweet! I got the idea from Johnny Suderman in the vid by Erik Chan for the christmas calender!

Had a drill session today.

Mainly worked on whirls. After about 20 tries I finally got osis > whirl rpt. Then right after I almost got it again. Then I worked symp whirls for a little bit. My strong side is alot better than weak side for them. I think I even got a couple of really decent one's too 8) .

I might start wearing my clima's again. I don't know why, but for some reason the goonits are just weird. It seems like I've gotten lavy on my flipside all of a sudden. For example; in my clima's I can do duck's and dive's pretty easily, but in the goonits my flip side just won't get high enough. In the g's I have to do clip > clip to get a decent duck. Maybe I'm not use to them, but I think I'll continue to use my clima's until there dead, and even then I might go to a shoe repair place and get a new sole for them. Who know's.

Alright, had another drill session. Again mostly whirls.

Highlights:
whirl > osis > whirl > osis > whirl > osis > whirl > osis > whirl, pure luck!
whirl x3 > osis > whirl x2
whirl x3, strong, new record
whirl x2, flip, new record
footed reactor
footed pdx whirl bs, I've hit them before, but they were pure luck tries!

atom > leg > blur > atom, longest rubberman starting from flip atom :D .
Sunday I figured out that I could hit rubberman if I start from flip atom, that way I don't have to worry about hitting blur > atom on my flip side. This doesn't mean that I'm gonna forget about it, I'm still gonna drill atomics out of pdx mirage and blur on my flip side.

For some reason I felt like working quantum's. Such a stupid trick! But I footed tripwalk strong, and had a semi-decent look at toe blur. My flip sucks because I can't seem to get my leg to do the miraging part of the trick. Ohh well, needs more drilling.

Tomorrow I'm gonna tape me doing whirls and send it to some of the better kickers on here to see if I can get any help on them.

This session was a footbag booster for me. All this week I didn't feel like kicking but I did. Most of the sessions were about 20 min's long each. After my first session today I really went through a funk. I watched some of the christmas vids, and I felt like I didn't want to kick anymore. Then I watched a movie, ate supper, watched some toons, then watched some more footbag vids. I ended up watching Erik Chan's christmas vid and watching Johnny hit those two tripwalk's made me want to drill quantums and kick again. I don't know what those two tricks triggered in me, but the footbagger in me was rejuvenated and wanted to kick again. It felt really good!

Now if only DC would get back to me about that bag, I'll be doing alot better.

G'night footbaggers across the world!

Had a good kick the Unity Crew.

Mike was doing good. Towards the end of the session I said, "hit 40 tiltless," so he goes and busts 40 tilt. Then later on I say "hit 30 tilt," and he goes and hit 41 tilt.

Conrad was looking to be his old self today. Lots of good runs and what not.

Nate showed up pretty late. He hit some decent stuff and a lot of his usual.

I was having a good session until I twisted my ankle really bad.

Highlights:
drifter > torque > infinity > infinity > drifter > torque, first time hitting flip torque mid run
whirl > rev whirl > osis > rpt > whirl > osis > rpt
tapdown > pdx mirage > rpt 3x's thru
Flip Pdx Drifter, first try :D
90% of my long runs were 10 contacts each, I couldn't break that point!
*Edit* whirl > ripwalk > rpt

UPDATE on the twisted ankle.

Doing a LOT better! I can now fully put all of my weight on it, and run on it (thanks for me being tardy to the bus stop).

I might test the footbag water tonight seeing as I got my new Claven's bag in the mail.

@ DC (if you read other people's blogs), the money was sent out today!

I'll edit in the session if I have one!

Here's the session highlights;
pdx whirl bs, once each
drifter > drifter 4x
toe drifter > swirl
drifter > rev. swirl > spinning clip
spinning clip > ripwalk bs, would like to get this bsos
atom > leg > blur, is getting easier
flip atomic is almost as good as strong
toe stuff seemed off, even in my clima's
torque > drifter
drifter > torque > drifter
footed pdx drifter bs
ripwalk > blender bs

DC, thanks for the bag, it's a dream! I really like the weight and size :D .

My ankle is a little sore, but once I stopped working pdx whirls it was a lot better.

Well I had a session today even though I told myself I wouldn't. I also cut off some of my insole on my goonits, so now the insteps are flatter than they were.

Highlights;
whirl > blender bs, would like to rpt
toe drifter > dlo bs, really close to rpt
blender > blender, footed flip blender > blender
clip set dlo bsos
flip stepping was having a good day, came close to flip ripped warrior 8O
matador , really clean set and really high
footed reactor each try
barfly, clean
blurriest, clean

EOS was all tiltless
1st run, 6
2nd, 10
3rd, 10
4th, 12
5th, 3
6th, 5
7th, 13
8th, 14
9th, 11
*EDIT* just had 2 more tries at getting 15 tiltless. First try was 14, and the second was 16. Mike I got it for yeah!

And I'm now calling it quits. My ankle is doing good, even after all the blender > blender attempts. My knee is a little sore but that was expected because of the blenders.

No shred tomorrow, or thursday. If I do, I won't be able to do anything on friday at the Unity Shred.

Good night footy land!

Friday had a good kick with the Unity crew. It was Mike, Conrad, Nate and myself. For the 2 hours or so it was only Conrad, Nate and myself (see explanation in Mike's blog  ).

At the beginning Conrad and I were hitting torques every where. We we're challenging each other to hit torque out of things. It was fun.

Nate was doing good. Lot's of his usual.

When Mike finally showed up, we decided to calm down our shred and wait for him to warm up.

Mike was doing good. Lots of tilt/guiltless runs. At the end of the session I gave him some helpful advice on his drifter's, torque's and gyro. He has really good drifter's and decent torques on his strong side.

Conrad was doing good at the beginning, but after we slowed down when Mike got there he started getting really tired.

I was doing good throught the session, lot's of fun stuff.

Highlights:
Blurry Drifter, one side, but have had good looks on flip
flip Pdx Tap, second flip nuke trick!
Reactor, a little thin, but still there!
dive > duck > dive > duck, after about 5 close attempts
blurry whirl, really clean and deep, easier then pdx whirl!
a run with toe torque and drifter bsos
barrage > dod, my nemesis
atom > paradon, so much fun!
ripped warrior on tape, finally
mobius on tape and first try since I hit it
osis > matador
atomic dyno > gybas
stepping dyno > gybas > stepping drop

Quite a bit got on tape, so expect a unity vid out soon in Mike's, Conrad's and My blogs!

Had a mini sess today. It went really well.

Highlights:
Reactor, clean
Pdx Blender, after quite a few tries. Only time too
Whirl > infinity rpt, 10+ contacts, lost count unfortunately
ducking pdx mirage bs, I don't remember if I've hit these before or not
whirl > torque, really fun
blurry whirl bs, flip might've been a little thin
gyro clip > gyro clip
butter > infinity > infinity > infintiy > osis > osis > osis > osis > infintiy > infinty > infinty > osis > osis > osis >osis > osis > infinty > infinity > pdx mira...
legover > legover x4 (8 contacts)
mirage > mirage > legover rpt
mirage > pick up rpt

There was some other stuff, but I don't remember them at the moment! I need to shower and get my chores done.

Later...

*EDIT* Just had a couple of tries at a stylee sick 3, I think anyway. And on the 4th try I hit this; ripwalk > pdx drifter > torque

Just had a sweet session with the Crew!

All together there was five of us for awhile. Conrad, Mike, Nate, Quin (Conrad's friend), and Myself.

Conrad was doing semi-decent. He had some good runs here and there. Towards the end of the session he started to try single tricks. He hit Mobius, Food (1st 6) and footed loco.

Mike was doing his usuall. Had lots of long runs. He even had torque in one midrun! Then towards the EOS he hit, finally, toe blur > tor blur!

Nate really didn't stay that long! Not even his usual hour and a half.

Quin is just a regular hacker. He hit a couple of flyers, and downtime pixie.

I had a good sess. Had some decent runs, and had a 5 new tricks!

Highlights:
Locomotion, 3rd 6
Legbreaker, bsos, first try for both 8)
Slapdown
Flip Mobius, I finally got my flip torque good enough to do this :D
Fairy Gyro Mirage, (fyro mirage?), very fun!
ripwalk > dyno and ripwalk > blender, both bsos and in the same run!
spinal tap once
footed marius!
footed food
footed toe blur
*EDIT* Fairy same whirl
*EDIT* Fairy ducking clip

That's all I can remember. Those were the best things from the sess anyway!

g'night!

Yesterday, sunday, and today I had sessions. Both we're fun. Yesterday wass basically a fun day. Just trying out weird combo's and what not.

Monday highlights:
Dimwalk bsos, quite a few times
both smears
and some work on pdx whirls
*EDIT* Blurry Guay bsos
flip Fairy same Clip

Today I wasn't planning on kicking, but I did. I kicked in my laver's today, and man do they feel weird!

Highlights:
pdx whirl, strong, 5x's
pdx whirl, weak, 2x's, almost had b2b :D , but my weak just sucks!
blender > ripwalk, bs
flip dyno > ripwalk, finally!
Food, once hit, twice footed, 4th 6
dimwalk bsos
symple rev swirl, twice
twirl
rev swirl > symple rev. swirl

That's all. I'm out of it now! I might have a shred tomorrow with Conrad, hopefully we do :D , We both need to start having more session then the one we normally have on fridays.

g'night!

I wasn't planning on kicking till friday, unless Conrad came over yesterday, which he didn't, but I got bored today and kicked.

Today was one of those days we I felt like kicking, but didn't feel like kicking. So instead of going into the session with the mindset of working stuff, I played it by foot (pun intended) and had fun.

Highlights:
Witchdoctor, almost bs, but another challenge done!
Stepping Symp Mirage, another challenge done!
Alpine Fairy Beater, YAY!!!
pdx mirage > Ocean > run
pdx whirl > spinning osis, almost bs

That's it, I quit! I can really feel my hip flexor right now! Time to feed the cats and take a nice hot shower to relax the muscles.

G'night kickybag land!

On friday, Conrad and I had a session that lasted about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I won't go into details about why it was so short.

Highlights:
footed drifter > torque > rpt
came close to torque > mobius
alpine fairy beater

That's it for friday.

Today I had a sesh and it felt good!

Highlights:
Flip Vortex
Flip Pdx Torque
pdx torques, are getting easier, came close to bsos
drifter > torque > rpt > run, finally got that drill :D
matador bs, finally hit flip again
osis > ripwalk > ripwalk > rpt, 11 contacts
legbreaker > osis > ss butter > blurry whirl > infinity > ss butter > drop on blurriest
food > ss butter > blurry whirl > osis > infinity > pdx torque > ss butter > drop on ripped warrior, best run ever!
tried to start a run with; blurry whirl > pdx torque, that is one hard combo!
worked on flip gybas, and flip blurry whirl, came close on both!

Really good session! I'm not gonna play again till friday. I think I might have minor shin splints, but I will do the toe tapping thing tomorrow during my classes.
