Thanks guys.

Lotus:

It's the parking lot of the Oakland Coliseum after a night of rain, with a view of the Oakland Arena. The cones are set up for an autocross. That water shot has interesting detail.

Asmus:

If you click the picture you can see the flickr page for it. There's a larger size there. My lens was set at a wide aperture so the picture doesn't look as great blown up.

no worries matt ... thanks also for allowing me to download your two music tracks .

i haven't listened to them yet, as it's 3.40am here in western australia and my boy is asleep in the next room ... but i'll have a listen tomorrow (by which i of course mean today).

here's a more traditional nature image (not really my forte, but i guess we all get lucky every now and then) ... naturally, it's called glowing spider (what else?) ...

must say asmus ... this character somehow reminds me of lenny kravitz ... post-dread era naturally .

i like the spirals on the fingers too.

i'm sure you've all been missing me in the day and a half that i've been away, so i thought i'd best return to share another spider with you ... two pics this time.

this first one is titled white spider in wind ...

Image

this next one is appropriately titled last supper ...

i have to correct you there ben ... as it's the spider doing the eating 8O

but yeah, not long ... i'm not the type of photographer that waits around for stuff to happen ... i just let things catch my eye and stop me in my tracks.

That's really cool man. :D

I like drawings where the background is a square and then the figure is protruding outside it.

I like the heavy lines.

It seems like you could have added a darker level in a couple spots. I.E. Near his armpit, under the cuff of the shirt.

Very nice job though! :D

yeah, i agree ... simply awesome asmus.
did you scan the pencil drawing and elecronically draw over it in adobe illustrator?

that would make a great screen print and/or t-shirt design :D.

it's about time i put another new pic in too ... this one's called spider web victim.

^^ I colored it in photoshop.. maybe it would have been smarter to do it in illustrator but this was more an attempt at coloured outlines than anything else..
