Today is my Official Hell Thursday because of my overload, so I was just itching to do something that would let me exert myself without having to think about all the things around me..Well, well, well...what could that be, you guessed it, CUP STACKING !!! (J/k)

I had a lil clinical session by myself, my two friends said they'd exercise, but I sure didn't see them. One was too tired, and the other is just lazy. I found out what was wrong with my flip atomic sets. When I compared angles at my hip, and the angle the window was at when I do strong side atomic sets, my hip is pivoted more as soon as I go into the set, along the bag to dex a much more easily. My flip side it much more exertion up and over it, instead of pivoting my hips into the bag, so now that I see that , I'm hoping I can change the form so it'll be a ton easier. I hit pixie ducking osis, suprisingly I've never hit that. I usually do diving, I think it looks a lot more stylish. So while I did that, I tried my flip pixie ducking. Amazingly I actually ducked it a couple times, my weak little leg is making me so proud  I also hit Symp DLO, i was way pumped at milkin that trick, almost hit pdx. symp dlo also. I think I might be able to hit symp eggbeater soon enough. Flip symp DLO is hard since I have a hard time jumping off my left leg, BUT it is doable, just not as powerful and pretty.

I've decided I'm going to take up some film editing as my side/side/side/side/side hobby since I have numerous other things to do with my time. But there are things that I'd like to try with music and footbag that I vision. That and Brad has delayed the sets video for a good 2 + months, so I think I'll finish that. Since that is all basic editing, that should be a good start for me to figure out what the hell I'm doing with Premier..

Props on Symp dlo! I figured you could do it. I don't have any discs at the moment because of FMA, but I'll try to get those to you when I get some, or you can give me a couple of discs tomorrow. I don't think all those will fit on one.

As for me, I haven't played at all this week  I know I should get prepared for CSS. I will most definitely play tomorrow. I'm going to work on breathing, string length and shred 30s. There are also a few tricks that I want to give a try like barfly swirl and timberwulff.

I've been practicing guitar most of my free time. It feels very rewarding to do something new, much like footbag.

Edit: Oh and since you're learning premiere, we should make a HooD3! You've improved too much since part 2.

Had a fun session last night with Brad, like always, Friday night clinical. XM was treatin us right on Rhyme XL with a lot of old skool hip hop. Since it's Black History Month, they've been goin back and tellin all the stories of the breakthrough music that happened in the early 80's and around that era. So that given, good music, gives me good energy. My legs were just a little bit tired from kicking the day before, but I'm just a weakling.

For my progress, I'll list some things that come to mind. My stepping set was feeling a little bit stronger, so I hit Blur out of paradox drifter and paradox whirl. I had a couple decently strong strings, and that is what I really want, long and strong strings with variety, I have a ways to go. Also my spinning finally half-way came to me, Brad again was trying to decypher my idiocy towards spinning. I finally realized in my mind what could help me, that when I try to spin, my clipper set is set forward because I push the bag foward as I spin. I tried to keep my clipper more stiff and bring it towards my back, instead of forward, and straight up. Seems simple, but it helped. I know I've tried doing that before, but something in my thinking process catches a loop, and I never really grasp it, but I was indeed, ONE STEP CLOSER ! I also hit toe blur bsos, not really happy about it because my flip doesn't feel right, and when I play, it's all about feel.

Premier, well, I haven't figured it out yet. I messed with it last night, but I was only getting audio when I would edit the video, little help Brad !

Shred on !

We played 2 days in a row?! What?! Yeah, it was fun, but cold. It was warm in the afternoon so we decided to go to the park and play for a bit, but we didn't make it out until around 5 so the temperature began to decline. We got maybe a half hour of shred, I think. We both played okay. John was so close to witchdoctor<witchdoctor! I don't remember anything else except that it was a little more chilled than how I usually play, meaning I didn't get frustrated which was good. Probably because I just played the day before so was a little more consistent. There were some friends with us that don't kick which was another reason we didn't play long.

Then we watched some MacGyver. Yeaaaaaahhhhh. That guy can do anything!

Over the weekend I shred 3 days in a row, and it didn't really phase me, I'm pretty happy with that. I also played with the Vegas Editing program last night and made 9 uptime sets vids, I only have a couple more to do, and then I'll finish up the new page for my site. So get ready to study up on sets boys and girls.

We played for around 3 hours today which is pretty much a record breaker for our sessions. It was just so nice out. Way too nice for class so we both skipped and played on the stage at City Park. It was a lot of fun. John brought a cd player and Bizmarkie beatboxed for us. We filmed a bit. I don't think there was anything really good though.

A few days ago, John was doing some Alex Zerbe lines from his finals vid at Worlds '02. So a couple of hours into it, I said I'd beat his butterfly record that he mentioned in the video. I gave it one try and got 133. Anyone remember what it was exactly? I also went for Greg Nelson's osis record. I got up to 77 and Biz started skipping so I screwed up and said fuck it. Consecutives are boring and I was too tired to really do anything. I'm going to start doing them more often though. They're useful.

I talked to a girl from here that likes to play and I guess has seen me before. I'll invite her to kick sometime. Maybe I can mold her into a shredita. That would be cool. Bob had one going for a little while, but I think she is just too busy to play.

If you can remember anything cool that we hit, post it John. My memory belows.

Short report On Tuesdays shred, a couple things I hit that were new where : Whirling SS clipper, Stepping Double over down, Reverse swirling pickup> drifter >reverse Swirl, 9 drifters, and then some other fun stuff. I had pretty strong stepping sets, and even my flipside was shaping up with consistancy. I was really liking all that sun that was shining down on us, I could get used to that. * i gotta run to class now *

I finished all the uptime sets and videos, pretty happy about that. Uptime Sets

So CSS was over the weekend. I wrote a review for John's site so he'll probably put it up sometime.

It really energized me to play more often. I played in the clinic last night after work. It was so much fun. I sealed whirring swirl with a nice pdx illusion. I liked that seal a lot because if I usually do an unusual/hard trick and seal it for the first time, 99% of the time it's with an osis. It's really cool being able to do that trick. I saw it's invention at Funtastik 2001 and thought that I would never be able hit it.

I attmepted to play on Sunday night at the Vienna clinic. Note that before I went, I downed a whole carton of eggs. I had 3 and Mikey said something that it wasn't possible to eat the whole carton. Well, I proved him wrong, and then ate a couple biscuits with it. So remember kids, DO NOT eat a carton of eggs and then try to shred. I was slow, heavy, and sluggish. I couldn't hit 20 butters for the life of me. I was constantly thirsty, and contemplated suicide in the middle of numerous strings.

It was pretty weird shredding in the new clinic because of all the windows, and people would slowly drive by to look at what was inside. Oh, by the way, I'm changing work locations to the Vienna clinic on March 7th. This week will be extremely busy for me, I've got 1 math test, 1 psychology test tomorrow. On Thursday I have a 100 Q Anatomy and Physiology 2 Test on 3 Chapters, and it's cumulative on everything else we've had :P Oh, don't forget about Anatomy Lab test on Friday. And our rought draft on our business proposal is due on Thursday, I'm in charge of a Power Point presentation. Ok, I'm going to get back to Physics now. SHRED ON !

Haha, haven't you learned not to listen to anything Mikey says?

Score, you're moving to Vienna? Are they starting after hours in the clinic next week or something? I had to blow up a ton of exercise balls last week, but no one told me when fitness was starting. I'm going to be playing often after work so just go ahead and join whenever. I hope Phil installs satellite radio soon. I played to Mix 100 last time on Jordan's ghetto boombox because that's the only thing it would receive. Good luck on your exams.

Cool write up Brad, thanks. But yeah, at one point you mention that one of your combos was fog-............ then there was nothing else. Its at the end of the 2nd or 3rd paragraph.

Intermediate sick trick was spinning pdx blender? :? I`ve never hit that trick, maybe next time I`ll go interemediate. :?

I fixed that, I had to edit all of that to make it readable under html, I guess it was reading the combo, but brad wrote fog<smog<pixie paradon so it read the < tags and didn't understand it, so it got cut off...oh who cares how it got cut off, the rest of the damned paragraph is back.

I'm going to go shred, but I think I have a swell idea for a short shred movie...Braaaad.

I've been lazy with posting what's been goin on in my shred world, but tonight I have to record this because it was flippin Awesome !!! First off, over the weekend, Brad and I went to Ohio University to meet our friend there and play in the recreation center. It was $7.50 plus a 40 minute drive so I made sure to get my money's worth, and that 7.50 got me a flip quantum set, I've been struggling with hitting anything off of that set, but it is near refined today !

I hit all sorts of neato flip quantum stuff like toe blur, toe blizard, toe ripwalk, and stuff. My good side was pretty sweet too, I learned symp. quantum when I was trying quantum symp mirage. I accidentilly near hit symp quantum symp mirage twice, pretty cool mistake huh ? My flip side was just so different it gave me such a boost of confidence in my ole pregimp leg. Some other new moves that are recent are double over down rake, pixie paradon, fairy drifter both sides, pixie whirl both sides, reverse swirl > blur, flip flails felt good too, ducking legbeater, flip pixie ducking butter, and some others that aren't coming to mind. It's just a great feeling to start hitting things that my left leg couldn't fathom. Ahh...so happy with that.

I started working at the Vienna clinic, it gave me some pretty f'n good shred. Although it could have been the new black socks of mine. I'm not really sure what did it, but everything was workin out pretty well with my body tonight. I can't wait till the Holiday Inn opens next to it, cause I'm planning on holding a jam sometime and if all works out well, it should be a very very nice one. I'd love to plan something out with the WV Juggling Festival, but they don't really want to share it and implement my ideas, which is totally fair since it is THEIR festival. I just wish they could have opened up a bit more to something totally kickass The extent to what type of event has been brewing in my head for quite a while now, but in time I'll start deciding and planning.

After work and an hour of weight lifting, I plugged my Ipod into the stereo and the clinic was bumpin! John played pretty well in the beginning. Ducking pdx illusion bsos, some toe blizzards midstring, and swirling pickup<fairy same osis was pretty sweet. He did some other things that surprised me, but I don't remember. When he's fresh he can play, but you can tell when shredding hard starts to take a toll on his weak leg and hip. They're getting stronger though. I think we're going to play a lot more regularly now that we work in the same place.

I hit 6 zulu clippers! I was also doing whirlwinds bsos and just generally trying to string well. It was a lot of fun. I still cursed a lot though  My entries are never very long. I'm gonna go eat some spaghetti.
