He could have dyed them...
Yeh that is what I was thinking he did because they looked so nice and solid black, and no one else's seem too. I remember having that big conversation about how to color lavers a while back and dyeing and coloring with sharpie where the only 2 things people did.

All of my lavers. My sister got me the two new pairs in front for about 12 bucks each at a Adidas outlet store today. Yay! :D

I'm also a rediculous laver-buying fiend. I have 2 brand new pairs of white / blue trim ones, my light green ones, a brand new pair of green and white twill ones, and I was bidding on some orange fishskin ones on ebay, but decided not to bid because my ass is broke.

I'm pretty happy with them. They seem a bit bulkier than lavers, but they're also not nearly as broken in as my old lavers, so I can't really say for sure.
The support is also much better than Lavers. I still have the stock insoles in these and I rarely get shin pains.

I was lucky to get them in this colour. Normally I wear 43 1/2-44 (US 10) so I tried 44, but they were a bit too big. The footlocker-lady said said that the next smaller size was 42,5 and I didn't think they would fit and I had to choose another colour. I never had such a small size since many years, but finally they fit perfect. :)

I will modify my g6 in the summer, now I walk them in and play my lavers dead
I too think that they are a bit bulkier, but I haven't shredded in them. The insoles in the g6 are definitly way better than the ones in lavers. I'm really looking forward to shred in them, but they look so nice uncutted.

Yes, I need a lot of cushioning right now because i have basketball practice everyday and my feet hurt. Otherwise i'd use my china lavers.
