Damn dude, no matter how good I get or what I bust your always a step ahead...it's hard to fully fathom your skills and potential...I remember that one day when we tried webcam shred and I thought I sucked but you thought I ruled...it's gonna be tough to catch you, but I've always gotten better fastest with motivation to catch people...hopefully Lon's new tips and my focus on breathing will give me an edge with which to make some progress towards your level.

Worlds 06 is going to be insane.

Keep it up bro, and stay positive, you're an idol of us all. :D

Peace,
Loren

i love that fog> smoke> ripwalk drill it feels so satisfying! and i want to that fog> atom> leg with an >rpt at the end!

i`m also working on the tomb> b drifter> rpt drill and i`ve managed 3 contacts starting from either side. so hard!!! i have no doubt that you`ll have that down in a matter of days!

may 15th

today i kicked for 1.5 hours. i was trying to be really posotive and not let my stomach get to me. i think my stomach has something to do with stress. last night i broke things off with my love intrest.

i felt like i couldnt play today. i was dropping on stupid stuff. the tricks you never drop on. like drifter and whirl and stuff. idk what it was becuase i was trying to be so posotive. i couldnt hit any 5's either. i think blurry whirl>spin whirl>ps whirl took 7 tries. that is pathetic.

last night i talked to yax till 3 in the morning. hes a cool dude.

the only things that were good from this session were:
- 92 contacts of titiltess/guiltless
- 60 contacts of guiltless

but they werent like hard strings, so who cares. yax just told me to do it to get my endurance up for routines and stuff.

i feel like if im really a skilled player i should be able to play well all the time. i hate playing like crap. i hate looking back at my blog and seeing like "spike hammer bsos" and knowing that it would take me like, 20 tries to hit that again. idk what it is. i have these great spurts where i rock and im so confident and then i just fall into a mess of ugly style and dropped 3's.

this blog is more complaining then anything good. what a waste.

hi

i am at chris kovacs house for the spike and shred. it is a good tournament. jack keller put in a lot of work, so props to him.

the following is random ramblings

- matt cross is really good now. he probably has one of my favorite styles and stuff. really solid shit. hes pretty modest about it too.

- bevier is busting really well. i saw him hit a lot of like creative tripless links without trying.

- i played net, that was fun.

- chris kovacs is really good.

- aric mcintosh got a lot smoother, hes good too

- i like playing with brian mckenzie

- i dont double down enough

- videos probably make me look better

heres a little summary of todays events:

shred 30 - everyone came out and busted pretty well i think. i think i had oen drop, finished with some 5's. they didnt score them so i dontk now how people did, i think i hit like 170? idk, that sucks.

routines - greg nelson really stepped up. aric had a good one but didnt make it to finals. matt cross had a sick one. everyone else did well. i dropped twice. i made finals though

sick 3 - everyone did alright.

tommorow is finals. i have top seed in routines and sick 3, and maybe shred 30. im not sure.

i hit gangsta party.

have a good night.

Highlights from the weekend personally:

- nemisis probably the cleanest ive done it
- bigwalk
- surging pdx. whirl
- marius
- whirlygig bsos + whirlwind (one string)
- spinning pdx. blender>ps whirl
- mobius>pdx. torque
- gangsta party
- janiwalker>bedwetter both sides

Competition results

routines
1. bevier
2. clavens
3. schineder

shred
1. bevier
2. clavens
3. kovacs

sick 3

1. bevier (sumo>smog>dolomite)
2. kovacks (blurry whirl>pdx. torque>ps whirl)
3. ?

There was some debate on shred 30 becuase we scored it super fast, but if it does turn out to be a mess up im going to give chris his money.

Overall good jam. I'll probably play a lot this summer so i can do well when i go to funtastiks. Im not really a routine player so im happy about 2nd place, that really got me amped.
