Yesterday was a good kicking day. I kicked with Kevin and Nick after I got back from a friend's house. It's pretty cool that Kevin brainwashed his roomie with footbag. The sidewalk shred was awesome. I came really, really close to hitting legbeater. Hit a few gyro toes and almost hit a gyro legover. Worked on stepping sets for a bit. After I got done shredding with Kevin and Nick, I went to campus and snuck myself into the Food Zoo, yet again. Hung out with the freshman for awhile and then passed out. I woke up at around 5 a.m. and couldn't get to sleep 'til around 6:30 and was almost late for work...AGAIN! If I'm late one more time, I'll get fired. Which won't be so bad once I get my loan, but DAMN IT!

hello!!

MFA has a footbag demo tonight. after us, the mayor goes on, and after the mayor is the president of the university so its a pretty huge deal.

my knees have been feeling great. i played everyday for a week. i haven't done that in 8-10 months. i got back into doing tons of yoga. i usually practice .5-1.5 hours a day. i also started a new biking regiment. when i have to bike somewhere, i now go all out the entire way. my muscles kill afterwards but it's sooo worth it.

with footbag i've just been focusing on both sides, run length, and trying every single link my little brain can think of. yesterday i started a string with alpine parkwalk>ps illusion. I tried it and couldn't do it earlier but about a half hour later I got it. almost hit my first 5>5>5, well i guess it's a 5>5>6 (phoenix>ps whirl>ps eggbeater). also had one run with ten ripwalks>string>6 ripwalks. some kickers joined our circle and we taught them the basic evolution of footbag and gave them some fffff flyers. i later saw them all kicking and trying atw's and clippers.

i've been listening to Sole and Aphex Twin pretty religiously lately.

i ran into a girl yesterday that I hung out with quite a bit last fall. she is a beautiful girl with a stunning spirit. she had moved to Alaska in november but she is now back in town for good :o yay

The demo was pretty fun today. The mayor and the president of the U of M didn't show up, so it was all our show! I guess we must've scared them off. 8O Didn't hit anything new, but I did hit quite a few of my moves out of pixie. Had really clean atomics at first, but then my legs started hurting later on, so I didn't want to try them anymore. Taught a couple of kids the basic conception of toe stalling and showed them pretty much every move that I can do. Later on Kevin ordered me to stop trying my parkwalks, dimwalks, and legbeaters and told me to drill mirage>legover and illusion>pickup, so I drilled mirage>legover for the rest of the day to make that bitches happy. :x Got pretty trashed last night and walked around with this chick named Clara till about 5:30 a.m. when we came back and passed out. I was so happy when we finally got indoors because it was cold as a witch's titty last night. I think it got somewhere in the mid-30s, which shouldn't happen this time of year in this area! That's bunk. Might kick a bit more tonight with Jere and Kevin if I can get my piece of shit phone re-charged. Maybe I need a new phone or battery, because this phone/battery licks my left nut.

i had so much fun kicking yesterday. I'm finally feeling consistent. just tried a lot of new links like atomsmasher>dod and tried a lot of my challenges. was really close to sam potter's challenge of bsos torque, whirl, dlo, and drifter just needed one more whirl :?

messed around with random moves in socks i think I may have invented a set: flailing fairy set. almost his flailing fairy tapping mirage.

tried a lot of flip barraging sets and flip dods. evan jokingly told me to try nemesis and I got one clean dex. yay. 25% there

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Hempfest on Saturday. We went to Hempfest after smoking a hippie cigar. While we were there, we kicked footbag for awhile, then I went to sit down with the crew that I arrived with when I saw what was quite possibly one of the most beligerrent people I've seen in a long time. There was this one bald dude who was wasted off his gourd (sp?) trying to dance or something in front of this one band that was playing there and he couldn't make it a step without stumbling all about. Whenever the band was done playing, he'd yell out a hoot and spill his beer all over him. Then some hot chicks came up and started to dance with him, but he would try to dance a bit and stumble away. One time, he was about six or seven feet from the stage and it looked as if he'd pass out and do a face plant on the edge of the stage; a couple of times, the band members were trying to keep a straight face while they were playing when he was stumbling about. It would've been funny if one of them would have pushed him over with a foot. Later on that day, we went back to the pad and had a dank ass bar-be-que. My buddy and I made a weird concoction of super nachos. Instead of using refried beans, we used Bush's baked beans. We topped the super nachos off with salsa, guacemole, cheese, and sour cream. Boy, I'll tell you what, these nachos were DANK! Then we went kegging later on that night.

Edit: Kevin, when in the hell are you going to put the Miss. Page # back up or when are you going to take the poll thing off?

After finding out that Kevin, Jere, and I were on the front page of the newspaper yesterday, I've had a pretty good couple of days. It's too bad that the bastards didn't mention MFA any more than just mentioning us...buttholes. I had a little toe session last night and drilled my mirage>legover for awhile and tried illusion>pickup for awhile before I got tired. I hung out with Clara for most of the day today because I have today off and found out that Subway had a free 6" sub with a soda and cookie for free. We went there and apparantly we were supposed to fill out some credit card crap for Chase. So after filling that crap out because I know they won't give me a credit card, I got my free sub and it was pretty good. Still waiting for some money to come by in the mail so I can get some things that I need...mainly FOOD, but oh well. My buddy Brent's parents are coming this weekend. It's going to be funny to find out what the rest of the clan is like.

yes, those combos are imperative and will help more than single big moves

oh yeah, forgot we were on the front page yesterday. everytime we've been mentioned in any of the local papers, there has been no mention of our website or what we even are. no one knows what wew are doing in that picture and the only mention of footbag is in the caption. something to the effect of :kids enjoying their ice cream with the missoula footbag alliance in the background

I'll show you imperative, bunghole. I'm just drilling them because you told me to. I'll still do what I want, biatch. 8) Look at you standing over there, piddling around with books and walking over to some dude at the counter. Haha, you have no idea I'm posting and making fun of you. :P

Had a short shred with Kevin after he got off of work last night. After he left, I kept shredding for awhile. I mostly just drilled mirage>legover again, but I dicked around with some other moves and hit my first guiltless strings ever. Here's the new links I hit yesterday:

Butter>ss butter>ss butter
clipper>near clipper bsos
butter>butter (INFINITY!!)
paste>symp mirage>butter

Worked on flip pixie for awhile. Tried tap and atomsmasher a few times and hit the tap, but I didn't want to wear myself out too much because of MFA tonight.

Funny story. We were down at Dog Shit Park one night just having a normal river night. We get done drinking and are on our way back. I'm carrying the empty case of New Belgium 1554 and I was going to throw it in a different dumpster when my boy Brent grabs it and hucks it at the dumpster behind us and hits Pete with it. A couple of days later when I talk to my buddy Mike, he asks me what's been happening and I tell him that story. He says "Funny, Pete said the exact same thing except you got hit." Sometimes I want to hit Pete.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh GOD! Yesterday was an intense session. I sucked during the first hour because my legs were still sore from the session I had the night before. I couldn't hit flipside at all for a long time yesterday. After awhile I stopped sucking and started to hit things. Mirage>legover is coming along fine. I've stopped doing illusion>pickup at the moment because I don't like the form for my illusions right now; I do them more on the uptime. I think I'm going to start doing that stretch that Jorden said was good for illusions on his help section. Worked on butters and clippers for a while last night. I had a clipper>toe>clipper>toe run last night that lasted over 30 contacts, which other than my 243 toe stalls, was the most contacts I've gotten. Later on I worked on butterfly>toe>butterfly>toe for a bit and got that just over 10 or 11 contacts. Kevin's footbag skills are getting better whether that bitches likes to admit it or not. He had the longest pixie string on both sides that I've seen him ever do last night and it was phat. Jere's shredding was risickulous. The Blendatron (Reiley) hit arctic butterfly (I kept telling Kevin it was frozen. My bad; I knew it had something to do with being cold) a few times last night. Now my knees are pretty sore. I should probably stretch more before I start to kick; wait, I should probably stretch period because normally I don't. That might help a bit. Now I'm going back to watching the 2nd WV Jam and Pimpske's tea pot style. 8O

Oh yeah, I forgot. After seeing Keith do his inside fairy, I tried fairy on my right foot (which I can't even pixie out of) and hit two clean fairys in a row! I was pretty stoked for that.

Edit: Kevin - Frozen is atomic frigidosis. There IS a frozen. ;)

Ah...I've successfully taken one full day off from footbag and my legs feel GRRRRRRREAT! Didn't do much yesterday. Found out that I can get some more work with the UM productions dept., so I think I'm going to look into that today. Hung out with Kevin and Riley for a while last night. Those mango slices were DOPE! After I got done chillin' with them, I hung out with Clara for awhile and went to bed. I want to see if I can make it through two days of no footbag. I don't think I can, though. The legs are already twitchin' for footbag.

Today was HUGE for my shredding. I hit a few new moves both sides.

Clipper > pdx mirage both sides
Butterfly > pdx mirage both sides
DRIFTER!!!!!!!! (I've been trying to hit this for months and I finally hit it earlier today from clipper. Came really close on toe.)

My newest string:

Butterfly > Butterfly > Osis (almost done on flipside, but not quite)

I shredded from around 5 to 6:30. My legs felt great since I didn't footbag yesterday at all.

I attempted all of the challenges on my challenge page. I hit clipper set ss legover > legover > ss butter on both sides, but not bsos. I almost got mirage x 3 > legover x3 rpt, but I always screw up on the second to the last legover. I didn't even come close on the fourth one and ss butterfly > op butterfly I've hit, just not bsos. Oh well. There's always tomorrow. I'm just happy that I hit drifter today. Oh yeah, I also hit dragon for the first time in months today as well. I attempted it on flip about fifteen times before I tired of it and went back to what I was doing.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that some chick from the Boys and Girls Club approached me during my shredding today to see if MFA wanted to do a demo there, so I got her contact information and I'm going to talk to Evan as soon as possible about it. She said it'd be good publicity and publicity is what MFA needs.

kicked with riley last night and with jere today. Riley and I have the funnest sessions. we call them style sessions and just mess around with whatever we want. We were doing clavicle stalls and sole stall wrap arounds>dynos. i hit sole ducking butter and he almost hit sole diving clipper. diving out of a sole stall is ridiculous. I don't know how riley does it.

the jere session was fun. it was just us two kicking for two and a half hours. jere hit flip stepping clipper for the first time and I hit frigid blender for the first time. did some new links. ducking pdx mirage>symp fairy to start a string. hit my most solid scorpions tail to date. tried lots and lots of spins. hit inspinning osis for the first time with dudley and then hit it again today. pretty good shred day.

Nobody here knows that you're referring to me, numbnuts.

Had a small session last night with Jere and Riley. Didn't kick for too long, my legs kinda hurt. Jere and Riley kicked intensely as usual.

Went to a "Frank Sinatra" themed party, but I just dressed up in a button up shirt and jeans - typical Montanan. 8) I bought myself a bottle of Clan MacGregor scotch whiskey, which I haven't had since I was in Glasgow, Scotland and let me tell you what...it was damn good. Not too many people fancied it because they were a bunch of girlie men/girls, though quite a few did take a pull of it. I like MacGregor because it's the best cheap scotch you can get for 12 bucks. I got my money from my parents, but as usual, I went through it too fast. I'm only going to get $60 after I pay all my bills, which is going to blow. Oh well.

Is it me or did I hijack the blog and turn it into a chronicle of our drinking?
