Pretty sure max meant to say "the set name is Stepulous."max wrote:brianbear wrote:

I'm pretty sure it's been hit. The set name is pendulous I think.
Evan Lovely is a pioneer of this style. He invented that set. He's probably done this trick. My bud Chris Balch is also hella good at pendulous and rakes and I'd be a little surprised if he hasn't done this too. But then, thats all a little speculative.
The trick is still pretty epic, though, and a cool freestyle road to go down, in my opinion. Keep hitting cool stuff like that, bb.

The only "stepulous" trick Evan Lovely has hit is pendulous ripwalk.Outsider wrote:Pretty sure max meant to say "the set name is Stepulous."max wrote:brianbear wrote:

Has quantum ducking torque been hit? I don't understand how people can duck that set.
and if people are starting to duck swirl, and people can duck fairy, has anyone ducked fairy swirling (phasing) set?

I hit it today. I think Vasek can do it judging from his Drifter Rev Swirls..max wrote: what about pixie same foot (non symple) reverse swirl?
I don't think that's a healthy way to look at twirl and I also think that is why alot of people THE their twirls heavily.max wrote:I'm not really good at rev swirls or twirls for that matter.. but I think that you need lees room to do a twirl than a rev swirl, probably because for twirl the swirling dex is not really a full dex.. anyway, your experience may differ
Sorry late reply and also in response to a couple of other comments apart from the one I quotedBenRea wrote:dude. You dont think he hit the alpine nemesis before? That looked pretty damn close and it didnt look like he reacted too much to it like...oh damn, that was so close! i dunno, maybe he just doesnt do that. But it looks like he's hit it before, i really think he has.
I don't think the alpine nemesis attempt was that close. The bag hits his body so he doesn't get a clean duck, and he bails out of the dexes. If you assume getting that close means that he's probably hit it, you'd be amazed about the stuff you could assume I've hit. I also think it's hard to read much from the reaction. I don't think I've ever seen Vasek drop a move and get excited about being close to hitting it. I think there are a lot of players out there who do never get excited about moves unless they hit them, and certainly my only reaction to nearly hitting moves is anger and frustration at almost getting it right.

Yeah I don't know where the vid is to watch it again, but the way I remember it seems like he got the duck over his neck, and he almost got the double down dex but it hit his calf or something and propelled the bag away.Jeremy wrote:Sorry late reply and also in response to a couple of other comments apart from the one I quotedBenRea wrote:dude. So I figure the reason he didn't just sit there for 10 minutes until he hit it is because he's in a shred circle and doesn't want to disrupt the circle to that degree in case he doesn't hit it in the subsequent tries.
I just assume if vasek can duck a set, he can definitely double down it on the way down.

However we are talking about Vasek, not you. Clearly his abilities are superhuman and *generally* (I used this word before also), you see him try a huge move, miss it, and then find out shortly after that he has in fact hit it.Jeremy wrote:If you assume getting that close means that he's probably hit it, you'd be amazed about the stuff you could assume I've hit.
