Magic is the shitz isn't it Holly?! :D

Anyway, something I've had on my mind for awhile.

I know we ask newbs to do a search before posting redundant duplicate threads, but I have tried using Modified's search a few times recently with fruitless results. It just returned every thread ever, with no particular relevance. Why does fizzie's search function suck so bad? Maybe I suck for not wielding the powers to harness the beast.

I was looking for the post your shorts thread btw. Anyone else have any luck finding it for me?

What I usually do is type in what I'm looking for then click the "Search for all terms" checkmark dot thingy. Then when you get to the page do the ctrl+f thing to skip looking through all the thread titles. Then go to next page, then wash, rinse, repeat.

Hey Peng,

I find that the best way to search modified is to type

site:modified.in _______

into google. So, if you were looking for "Getting New Muscles", you would type

site:modified.in "getting new muscles"

And get your blog as the only result. Without the quotations you get more stuff, but far more relavant than Modified's search engine.

Footbag has kind of taken a back seat, but I still pick up the bag and strap on the lavers to kick occasionally. The last time I did, I saw a dramatic improvement and a new kind of ease that I never felt in footbag motions before. Maybe increasing strength is just what I needed to increase my footbag ability?

An update on my strength training:
Today, I finally got tuck planche to L-sit and back. BOOYAKKA!

I can pistol now too.

I love the feeling of sore muscles now. If it don't hurt the next day, I didn't work hard enough! Shoulders getting bigger.

I'm finally caving and getting a chin-up bar for my home because it's too COLD outside to be chinning at the playground. I found a great one that doesn't require screwing anything into any door frame or wall.

I want the body of a warrior. A tiny, compact, and efficient warrior. I have the genetics to really take power-to-size ratio to the extreme and I really want to. Posterior chain needs work. Thinking about adding a kettlebell for that but I don't know what weight I would need. Maybe when I come into some funds.

Gymnastics... I think I want to quit gymnastics. It's great fun and all, but I have two problems right now with the classes. 1) There's been a sudden increase in attendees and I'm clausterphobic, which makes things less fun. 2) I'm pretty much a beginner and I feel like I have learned enough to practice at home now instead of paying the $15 + gas to go there and only make marginal improvements. I think I'll go back once I reach my strength goals and have practiced enough of the basics on my own to move onto intermediate stuff.

I may still go this Friday because I did say to Tom that I would.

Money is tight. I need a job, but I am caught in limbo because I have a job in China. Temp work seems like the right thing to do, but I also need to finish this last course first. Tough it out one more month and I'll go get a job for sure.

Your getting jacked up? Thats awesome. I like how you said something about if you don't hurt the next day then your not working hard enough. I live by this. If I've been busy all day and didn't have any exercise then I will usually do a very tiring, but very quick work out in the bathroom while I wait for the water to get hot for a shower.

I totally got JACKED by the time late November of 07 rolled around because I played footbag everyday and downed SO much protien and other suppliments. Gained 10 points of muscle in 30 days. But it wasn't lean. Then I was all huge and awkward. Be carefull though, looks can be deceiving. I'm sure you do have a goal for all of this training your doing. Moderation. I'm rambling. We should chat more. Haven't seen you in a while. Hows it going? Whats life like? Where's life going? Where's Joel? Can we play sometime? You, Tom, Joel, and I? Tom's a FUCK!

Hey what happend to the KFM website? Do I need to buy the domain name again? If you could give me a list of the building blocks that I need to learn about to get this site going then that would help a lot because I have a few friends here who could help me with the later steps, ie dreamweaver.....

First think about how to practice or don't bother practicing.
