Your progress is so fast, it's amazing. Good work!

Sorry to hear about the cold. I've been getting over one for about a week now myself, so I know how it can suck. Just try and take it easy. If you footbag, cut your sessions a bit short, and make a point not to get frustrated.

Oh yah, good luck with the girl too.

i played today for the first time in almost a week. being sick blows. im still a bit sick but its not a cold anympre. its weird. anyway hung out with dave

whirling swirl bsos
twirl bsos
one really cool string with a lot of ducking/diving stuff
sont really remember the other stuff

so i hung out with that girl on friday. shes super cool, it was fun despite being a bit under the weather. we went to see pursuit of happyness. it was pretty good. then we chilled at arby's for a little while and just talked.

she said she had fun and wanted to do it again so we'll see what happens.

Penn state trip was pretty kickass. i didnt play all that great but it was really cool getting to kick with bevier and alex and meeting aiden(sp?). we played for like 4 hours on saturday, and like i said i didnt play too good but i managed to get some good stuff. the rest of the weekend was really cool to, we bowled, saw a weird movie lol. then a six hour busride home, good ol' greyhound.

If you weren't playing good, I'd love to see you when you're on your game!

According to that video, you're freaking awesome.

I can't wait until a couple years pass, you're going to blow everyone out of the water.

Hey Mike, I watched the video Dave made of you guys and Bev shredding. Your game is great. I hope you stick with it, you're going to be off the hook if you keep with this silly game. Your whirling swirls were gorgeous, as was your shuffle. Keep solidifying, you're doing a fantastic job; but also remember to keep branching out.

thanks a lot guys. hopefully someday soon i'll have a free five hour time period where i can download this video.

anyway, played again today. pretty well actually, a few days late but whatever, i'm not going to be picky. some flip stuff started to click that i'm happy about. i love the way torques feel, and they're getting pretty easy for me. iv been working swirls sorta half ass a little bit every session and they're getting a little better, flips a little tougher. new clavens bag played beautifully.

flip tripwalk(bsos off my foot)
fairy beater bsos(flip new)
flip toe blur
flip fear
matador(flip off my foot twice)
torque bsos always fun
some pretty long runs
shuffle doing better
a few good looks at superfly

i was close to breaking my ripwalk record but my eyes filled up with sweat. i have a feeling that if i tried more than once i could totally crush my record(14 i think). we'll try that next session.

So this weekend was basically my year mark in footbag. It wasn't really a crazy revelation or anything I just thought it was cool to know. I figured I'd set some goals for this year.

-solidify, clean, and otherwise make better all the stuff I can already do.
-pick up some new sets and throw them into strings such as quantum, fairy, and possibly nuke.
-play more.
-go to a tournament.
-5 fearless would be cool.
-fix my paradox.
-make ducking and spinning better.
-get some unique guiltless going.
-get my flip pixie equal to my strong.
-start hitting some new stuff.
It would be cool if I could do all that.

Played today finally, it's been since last thursday. I haven't been very motivated lately and I'm not sure why. There's a lot of distractions happening right now and some of them are pretty good. Anyway back to hack. I played last thursday and stunk, i managed to hit stepping same whirl bsos and blurriest bsos(different strings). Other than that it was bad. Today wasn't much better, but there were a few more highlights this time.

flip phoenix(finally)
flip matador(flip and strong are both getting easier)
torque>torque bs
twirl bsos and torque bsos same string
tripwalk bsos

Not much else. Everything felt kinf of sloppy. I'm going to try and play more though. I need to.
