played at my school with tristan. first session where I felt like my game might come back.

stuff
-barroque>long string
-good first try moves: bedwetter, flurry, fairy same dlo, atomic diving clip and double down rake
-mullet. been awhile
-symp dod. fuck that video, this shit was clean.

T money:
-pdx torque first try
-dragon set pdx mirage
-dragon set same infinity dragon
-footed mob
-whirl bsos
- first drifters (thanks to ya fathah)
-zooming out of gyro drag 8O
-zooming, torques, refractions, gyro butters and stepping all over the place

dude would be so good if he practiced basics. trade my ostepenia for bendy ankles?

just listened to all of music by cavelight by blockhead, forgot how good it is. go download, so ill.

Glad to hear that your game is poking it's head out from hibernation. I wanna see a video of that symp dod when you get a chance. Props on hitting that clean! Nice highlights all together, it definitely sounds like you spat out some good stuff. Fairy same dlo is called Glaucoma, I think? Always thought that name was cool. Haven't hit it myself, though.

As for this Tristan dude.. any video of his game? Sounds awesome. Not enough players use unorthodox shred these days. It's cool that you want to start using Dragons in your game too. I respect anyone who doesn't think dragons are totally whack. I've met some dragon-haters before :\

Also, I've had all of Blockhead's albums for a while now, but I never really listened to them enough. To be honest, one day I just started downloading stuff that sounded like Ratatat (i.e. Wax Tailer, Blockhead, Copy, The Avalanches, etc..) :P You decided what music I'm sleeping to tonight. Keep at it and, make your comeback!

Peace dude

thanks for the post meng. tristan is in my "new boston joint" video from last summer, however the last few times i've played with him i've realized how good he's getting.

music by cavelight is some other shit though. I like his other albums, but mbc is so constantly good, every track is something else. but yo if your into stuff like that you should listen to yppah, been one of my favorite artists lately.

stuff n things:

-fog bsos (first try :D )
-much better strings, stepping ducking, fog, blurry drifters eggs and stuff all midrun
-fury
-flip atomic ducking clipper
-fairy same blender, first try new
- footed alpine fog :o I'll get that.

yoguy.

Great new tricks man. Stoked I got to shred with your buddy, Dick Tank, this weekend :P He's awesome. Boston Jam was mentioned quite a bit in my apartment. Hope that eventually goes down somewhere.

I dig that band Yppah. Just realized that spells "Happy" backwards. Also, sweet Boston video. Just checked it out. I'd love to see new footage of Tristan. I can't judge his dragons and flexible legs just on some mirages :P And also, I think you might dig this band too. They're called Holy Fuck. They have a fantastic name and they're also really good. This video rules hard too.

^wordup. That band is sweet. If you come to the boston jam (if it ever happens) i''l bring my laptop and show you some ill electronica.

played too much this week. if i take the rest of the week off it will be worth it. session with T Money 2 days ago was pretty fun, We both were going on no sleep on a rainy ass day at my ghetto ass college but we had a pretty good session.

-haze first try. dont know why i never tried this, not that tough.
-worked on nuclear more then i usually do. sumo, matador, nuke op clip bsos and ducked the set like 10 times. was st0ked.
- fucked up my knee on symp whirling swirl. I suck.

Tristan played better then me, he wants to make a video soon. we'll see.
he hit:
-symple swirl, pixie same pickup for new tricks
-better strings then last week, almost 10 guiltless.
- nuke same muted osis

from today:

^DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDREW!!!!!!!!!!!!

made 15 bills, a reciept from a bar and a free taco bell taco playing outside with Tristan after atmosphere.

-fusion 3/3 tries
-plasma
-nuke same dlo rolled off my toe cause i got too excited.

Bad news though, my good shin is bugging me. I'm praying it's not what i think it is, but minus a few symptons it;s most likely a stress fracture.

I played 3 days in a row like a week ago. I can't fucking believe this.

I go back to my dr. in two weeks. I may have already played footbag for the last time.

^wrong. Bad shin splints but no fracture thank Lewbowski.

I played once this week but I'm still taking time off just to be sure and because of finals.

One lonenly highlight:
-swirling gyro toe, twice both first tries. After I hit those ripsteins, I've been hitting them every time I've played (maybe 10 in total) and my swirling sets are getting nice (few head highs 8O ). Could make fluke swirling mob if I was playing regularly.

I will come back harder then ever this summer. You will see.

Peace to the zulu nation

That's a relief. As soon as I saw you posted in here again, I was crossing my fingers that you were blogging about playing rather than never being able to play again. Something told me that it couldn't have been another stress fracture. At PA Jam, Jon Schneider told me that "Footbag things seem to have their way at pulling through, even when something doesn't look too good. Someone or something up there must like us."

Glad you're playing again. And great job with swirling gyro toe! Next up, swirling gyro mirage!

I hear you loud and clear on the "break from footbag for finals". I'm doing that too, but I'm going crazy doing so. Good luck with finals, man.

Yo, word, Kevin. Ripped bsos is gnasty as hell. I've been sick for the last 2 days and have been having footbag delusions and one of the main ones that is on my mind is Ripped b2b. I really wanna get well so I can try it. But shit man, props. I'm about to blog about some of those footbag delusions, if you wanna read them. Some of them were ridiculous. Like I mean, I connected some things to footbag that should have never been connected to footbag lol

wordup man i'm about to go peep those double illusions. I hit ripped>stepping ducking clipper a couple times and i footed ripped b2b too many times in November. I think i can get it in a few sessions. go to nyfa and i'll show you

hacked at school with a kid and he hit toe>inside and hit some unsealed clippers. seemed really stoked on footbag and i gave him a sandman. i played ok. tomahawk 3 times same string, fury feels like its getting easy and i came close to a quad 8O

taking it slow though. jay helped me make a training program that's going to work great so big ups to him. me and will digges are going to do live sessions too so things look better footbag wise.

if the flip existed i'd see you there.

I can't do the NYFA shred :\ I have to sign papers for my new job at PSU next year. So weak. Cool you got a training program down. I really need one of those.

Cool you gave that kid a sandman. I just gave one away at the Sunday Session to this kid who really showed an interest.

Props on Tomahawk x3 in one string. That's bad ass, and Fury is a dream trick of mine. I think that trick looks so styley. Sick they're getting easier for you.

But yeah, unfortunately, we won't be shredding at NYFA unless my future place of work blows the eff up and I can't sign those papers anymore because they've been horribly incinerated. Fuck. So lame. Hit some sick shit this week, can't wait to come back and see what you've been pulling. Take it easy dude.

strings suck
style sucks
stamina sucks
being sick sucks
ya mother sucks

3 sessions all terrible. I'm pretty sick so I don't play for more then an hour. Also, starting my training program sick feels like a bad idea so i've just been working basics mostly.

I'm going to suck sooooooooo bad in nyc :(

this summer i will rebuild my game and begin working towards the player i know i am capable of being.

WHOA. All of this owns. You've inspired me to try Grave Digger. Always in the back of my mind, just never got around to giving it a shot. SICK stuff man. And fuck Penn State's bulllshit meeting, I'm going to try as hard as I possibly can to get my dumb ass to NYFA. I second what Matt said, Way to be optimistic dude. It looks like you're already on your way toward acheiving that goal.
