Just got done a bomb-diggidy session.

pixie double down bsos
4 atom smashers
quantum butter>pdx drifter bsos
26 shuffle
ddd>drifter>rpt
spinning ducking clip>inspining clip>rpt for the first time in a while
I can go 20 genuine pretty consistantly now, with more shuffle than dexless, witch is new for me.

AND James is kicking GREAT again too... very motivating I must say. Some chicks were digging our "workout", haha... Girls  We lifted weights afterwards witch felt good. Yoga twice a day has been consistent. Keeping the toxins out of my body has been HARD!!!! but I'm getting there. Music is going realy well. I feel much better than I did a month ago. Well thats about all I got to say... feeling good feels good!

PS-where did like 6 of my post counts go???? mods???????

Another bomb session in the books. I woke up early and James Erickson and I made eggs with avacado green peepers and cheese, toast and bacon. Then we streched for 40 minuets and shredded on campus. Lots of people out droppin' props! Very motivating. At one point there was three tour groups with about 40 kids in each just stairing and drowning out the guids with "wow"s and "wierd"s. Major strings and genuine links were consistant for both us. Lots of food and streching helps... AND SATURDAYS!! I'm gunna take a nap then do some yoga with him later. James is rockin now! Lots of fun to be around. Tomorrow will probably be another campus day and tuesday we'll get back to skoolin in the garage.

~thinks for two minuets~

I hit fair ss mirages x 4, pdx dlo > dimwalk x 7 and ended the day with 54 contact rippin run style.

nate and james sessions on campus, good times! The crew needs to make another weekend stop down there, or you guys could dome up here. But then again, you just came up here, and we're long past due to come back to Eugene. Maybe later in the Spring? Maybe sooner? I just have to ask for that time off, and as of now, I can't get a Saturday off until March 25th... or maybe even April. Props on everything Nate, you're shred has always motivated me to do better. Good to hear that James is feeling better and shredding agian too, keep up the good times guys!

It was very sunny out today.

I had a solo campus session, where the goal was to meet people. Definatly reminded me of fall term. Met several new persons, while kicking lightly and doing lots of "stair" shred. Going up and down stairs while doing basic moves... People like that! Then I saw my ex- girlfriend and she said she had time to watch me shred, and I replied "its so nice to hear someone call it that!" Thats when shred got intense... Probably more single tricks than I've ever done in a session. She wanted to see all my 5s... And I could hit all of them :D

So yoga 2 times a day is still going on, and today I did it 3 times already and will do another session before I go to bed. Diet is under controle but the green still owns my soul  much work to be done

I FOUND A HELPFULL STRECH FOR SPINNING AND OSIS!!!!!!!
ok so start standing, feet together. turn your left foot towards 3 o'clock, while keeping your right foot at 12 o'clock. Keep your big toes touching, you should make a right angle....Feel that in your hips???? ok so now start turning counter clockwise, and look down. looks like an osis doesn't it?
Too easy?? ok now take a step forward with your right foot keeping it at 12 and your left at 3. the sole of your foot can come off the ground if it needs to. ankle crank baby!!!
Now repeat on the other side. This has helped my osis and spinning tremendously, I guess lots of yoga and a lot less mass help too, but I think everyone can do this strech without completly reformating their life.

Training shred with James tomorrow and a performance friday night. Good times ahead!!!

MORNING EDIT:
Never got to the streching... the train is in town

I'm up too late and have been putting off some assignment I have due for repatuar lessons tomorrow morning... ughhh

Shred was on par yet again today. I haven't felt this improved over a months time span in a long time. Very excited to travel again!!!

5 triple dexs in a run today: pixxie dd, dd swirl, pixie ss eggbeater, both blurriests. I can reverse whirling swirl now.

I'm going to move to socal with chris miller this summer...!!!!! 8O ....maybe

I think i may become a professional eater. I'm sick of the americans getting spanked in Nathans hotdog eating contest. I'm pretty sure I could give that Kobayoshi a run for his money. Anyone else here find it normal to eat a gallon of milk and one of those large safeway brand bags of cerial in one sitting??? I do it every sunday! Today I was hungry so I added a pint of ben and jerry's to that. Lets just say I'm not lactose intolerant! Next week I start my hotdog trainging... american record 32 in 12 minuets. I'm pretty sure I can do 3 dozen no problem... Wish me luck.

How that and shred could ever coexist is beyond me. Props on the new stuff you've been hitting. Do you think you'll be making it to the jam in Olympia (whenever that is... pretty soon, I think)?

4th day of shred in a row!! Haven't done that in quite some time. Definatly didn't have the BOUNCE in my step that I'm used to haveing lately, so I decided to school some atypical stuff
main focus:
-insides
-outsides
-rakes
-flyers
Was able to pull out some pretty stylee combos limiting my game to just those components.
barraging inside> dod
whirling rake>toe torque
spinning drag> drifter
pdx dragonfly> diving clipper >rpt

Dragons are getting super close to being in my vocab, and the "drags" (spinning outsides) are getting pretty fluent.
Also did some work on wraps... I dug this combo, blur inside>wrap>blender.

My roomate is whatching Saw 2. Call me a wuss if you must, but I hate those movies. Hows a brother supposed to keep down his beer with all that gore on screen... Thus I am here, posting away. The only reason I've been posting is because I've been REALY HAPPY about my game lately, and that doesn't happen very often so I'm taking advantage of it while I can. In three months when I'm bumming I can look back at all the crazieness I was hitting... Pixie ss egg>dd swirl???? I'm not that good I don't think!!! hahaha
OK so I swear I'm going to take tommorrow off. I have a gig at Joe Fed's, a local bar, and willl hopefully be buisy all day. Anything to keep those voices quiet.... Thursday is a traing day with James Erickson and expect a long list of Nastities to be posted....

Hey man. Pray for good weather when you're on your way down here in a couple weeks. It's been a cold, wet, gloomy winter. Hope we can get at least one or two sunny days to shred. You will have to show me how to play footbag again. I think I forgot how.

TORCH!!! I'm sure our adventures will be up to par with past meetings, with or without shred, sharpen those chops and stock the fridge!!!!

WEDNESSDAY: FINALY didn't kick! Had a gig at Joe Fed's that went great... sat in with some dudes I realy look up to musicaly and got some good compliments on my playing. Gigging is so much fun... It makes me realize why I paid SOOOOO much money to go to school for music.
THURSDAY: FINALY had a bad session. These are inevitable and I was a little releaved to have one. It had been over a month since I hadn't felt AWSOME after a shred, and heres to hopeing it'll be another month! Also had a performance at the school of music that went well. I just played one song but I realy planed out my solo and paced it well. Started with sparse low lines, built intensity with rythmic variety, went to 16th note lines in high register, than went to octives, than block chords for my last chorus... If you understood that last sentance than you should be playing music and not checking the internet.
FRIDAY: Superfly> drifter, spinning ducking butter>pdlo bsos, quantum butter> p grifter, whirling swirl>drifter>rpt, and blurry whirl> pdx torque!!! yeah 5>5s!!!! I don't care what anybody says, blurry whirl is a 5 and it isn't easy  regardless shred was yet again uber dank. I got drunk for the first time in a while this night... It was nice... than my roomate came home and his father smoked us down!!! what a trip, his dad is one cool dude. I slept very well that night.
TODAY: I am going to be house sitting for some older friends for 2 weeks... THEY HAVE A HOTTUB!!!!! and they are paying me $100. All I got to do is walk/feed there dog. And now I'm going to do some yoga b4 I go and kick on campus. James has been sore lately, probably because we kick too much, so we'll see how long he lasts, but i'm ready to bust hard all day long and sooth it off in the hot tub.

I realy wonder how people take reading my blog.... I did some re reading and thought "who is this dude?" hahaha... Hopefully my friends know that this is some sort of psuedo reality that I fabricate and not my real self... but maybe thats just me trieing to hide what I realy am??? hahah deep thoughts! Anyway thanks for checking in and hopefuly we'll shred soon my footbag friends...

I like how easy my blog is to find... "guest"... Geniuse~!

Well I got off my streching and eating plan a couple of weeks ago and my body is feeling it. I feel much less "cleaver" like lately and more "NASTY"!! Shred has been decent considering, I've been working dragons, rakes, and insides instead of superflies and stepping 5's. Variety is good!
So I leave for the bay area tomorrow, I'll be on modified much more... love it or hate it... deal with it! haha should be lots of shred to talk about, maybe when I meet F FUNK he will take some footage??? thad be nice, sorry for being so arrogent M & J...
The term wraped up nicely and I have never been so confident in my guitar playing... I feel like a senior now! Oh yeah I've been house sitting for my uncles friend the last 2 weeks, which is partly to explain why I haven't been posting much, and it was a blast. I eat their food, use their hot tub and play with their dog... and they PAY ME!!! haha. I need to become a professional house sitter.

I have dozens of pictures to post here or in other threads but I left my carmera in Jeremy Mirkorama's car and won't be able to post them till mid week some time.

I've been in the bay area since friday and have already had 4 sessions with some good friends. Tomorrow I am going to SF to jam and hang out with Ahren Gerhman but I will sadly not have my camera... Luckily we will be hanging out there again next weekend when Lon Smith comes to visit. I am one lucky mofo!
Friday Jeremy came to visit and we had a string-free-in-the-rain session. Jeremy has such a great vocabulary of big moves, mine is getting there. Mainly stylee variations on easy tricks. A few 5's and triples as well. I dont particuarly feel like thinking back to what was hit, but I'll list a combo or to in a few paragraphs. Emily Kulczyk (didn't even have to check spelling  ) had a party that was canceled so she decided to come and visit too. I dropped off J at the airport(he was going to a bachlor party in Las Vegas) and Moxie and I picked up some margarita mix and whatched "the meaning of life". Anyone who has met moxie can skip over the next sentance because you already know this... Moxie is an amazing person and I'm greatful for any and all the time I get to spend with her.
So on saturday I went to Oakland and spent some time with tsankung. We drank one of his stellar beers and watched some TV. Then we went to Berklee and kicked some. Anyone who has every felt any discomfort while kicking click this link.

+++++ www.getrung.com ++++++

save up 80 bucks and invest!!!!!! You will make you money back in no time. With these lightweight, portalbe matts your bags last longer, shoes last longer, joints feel better, push harder into the ground... the advantages are endless!!!! I will be buying one as soon as I return to Oregon. It turns any surface into a choice shred spot, and people don't walk threw your circle..... I'm a believer.
After leaving Oakland I went out to sushi with the family and got STUFFED. Than Moxie came back to town and we traveled to steve G's manshion. Steve G is a great intelligent guy, no matter what anyone says. We played some 2 square, shredded a bit, hit the hot tub, and then sat down for some amazing conversations. I learned alot. Having an open mind is very important in this life. Steve, Emily and I had what I consider "drunk college talk", except they weren't drinkning. I was. I needed to, and that is something I will have to deal with eventualy. But not yet.
The next morning was very nice. Check that... The mext morning was awsome!!! around 11 em and I went and picked up J from the airport, then headed back to steve's, I made some eggs and we hit up the hot tub again. then the SHRED WAS ON!!!
Emily has gotten much better since last I kicked with her. I was incredibly impressed with her advancment in vocabular and controle. Jeremy was busting big, I went over 50 a couple times and maybe 30 genuine once. J hit furry>atomic drifter!!!! I hit mobius>ripwalk, which made me happy as i'm not a shuffler. I also was able to show off my "new school old school moves" like drifter rake, blur inside, mid run wraps, spinning outsides ect... Steve said I play with style which realy made me happy.
After that the 4 of us just lounged and had a general good time. Pillow fights, group photos, ranting... all the good stuff, well almost all the good stuff  .
We left and got some food and now I am home typing up this. I feel realy lucky to have so many bay area friends, but I feel kind of bad I am spending so little time with my mom. i owe so much to her. Hopefuly Ill spend some quality time with her soon.

Thank you for reading... pictures soon!!
