handstands are just fun; and prolly good for shoulders. I've gotten really good at them now with ust a little practice. I can walk around a bit, and balance if I'm about to fall. I can't do a full handstand pushup, but I can go down maybe 1/4 of the way.

Played poker yesterday since today (thursday) is thanksgiving, we had it a day early. I finally won the first game! 65 bones. I lasted among 11 people. It was really fun. We played a 2nd game cuz noone worked today. Someone picked up some TBK, so I was munching on some 99¢ quesadillas while playing. I didn't win the 2nd game. I had A K, and went all in , and he had K Q. K Q came up on the flop :(.

Nothing...almost kicked with Kamil, Zeke and Reile, but had plans with the GF who I haven't seen in a while.

23NOV2005
I didn't have much time to play, but I wanted to, so I just started with no warmup at all. I only had half-an-hour to play. Somehow I played really well, and hit a bunch of stuff:

1 spinning clipper>drifter>gyro mirage BS
1 ripwalk>drifter>blur BS (Normally flip takes 4ever, but hit 2nd try!)
1 ripwalk>whirl>ripwalk>whirl BS
1 spinning clipper>ducking clipper>blender BS (took a while)
1 gyro mirage>drifter BS
2 flurry BS

No footbag. My bastard house depresses me. I started kicking yesterday pretty well, but busted out to hang with my GF.

Fixed my cousin's compy. He saw the problem that the dial=up connection wasn't working. Going to device manager, I found no devices >blank. Also, slow to open up My computer, and not showing network connections.

Scanned virus and spyware...found lots, still no progress. So, manually went into startup programs and registry. 10 hours later removed enough shit, but particularly this program called "Context Plus" and something called "hcwlnxut." I also removed lots of entried from the registry involving many of the names of bad shit I found. I'm also running this virus uninstaller that is supposedly at fault commolnly for these things.

I'm so happy that I finally found it. The devices became visible again, and the modem started working, My computer loaded up fast, and the network connections showed up again.

woke up @ 7pm. no footbag i think.

27NOV2005
Just started playing with no goals in mind...no intent to drill. For the whole sesh (1 hr) I just did a bunch of strings. Mostly BOPS plus drifters, ducks and ripwalks. Some cool combos I hit:

barrage>terrage>toe barrage
stepping mirage>drifter
spinning clipper>gyro mirage

updated the website some - pics on contact page and moved people to confirmed list.

28NOV2005
Nada.

29NOV2005
Wasn't gonna play but figured what the hey, I'll play a little. I sorta just stringed a bunch of Bops w/ ducks and whirls and drifters...easy stuff. One combo: pixie same clip>osis>torque.................and one new move

High Plains Drifter
(from left foot clipper)
I always wanted to hit this move. Somtimes it was hard to tell if it was clean, so I hit it a bunch of times - at least 3 like Mr. Clean.

Thanks ponies. :)

Easy strings for long time while watching tv. Also, 2 more clean high plains drifters, definitely not stringable yet, but pretty sweet. DLO>DOD BS. Also frenzy and symp whirling swirl (all in one). Not an intense sesh.

I'm not motivated to kick much. I wish I could kick with someone, that'd prolly help.

No footbag at all since dember 1st. :(. No motivation, no good scheduling of my days.

I was horribly sick 2 days ago - ate some bad food. Vomiting, and whole body aching - hurt so much couldn't even sleep. Better in one day though :) .

Now to the real purpose of my post: I was walking my dog when I saw this big bird land on the tree. I think it was a falcon! I dunno what it was, but I'd never seen a bird like that in chicago b4. It had spots on its chest and some cool looking eyes. It's pretty cold too, though I dunno a falcon's natural environment.

Somebody say my name  ? I've been seeing more hawks around the city lately too. I saw one perched on a lampost over 94 and another just circling around the sky within the last month. The ones I saw weren't falcons though as far as I could tell, falcons are smaller i think. You live kind of near o'hare, I've heard of airports introducing birds of prey to the area to solve the problem of birds getting sucked into jet engines 8O . Also some citys bring in peregrine falcons to deal with the pigeon population. Could be related.

Hi Reile!

Falcons and hawks are similar as far as google is concerned. The bird I saw was about 12-18 inches tall, and had cool eyes and spots on his chest similar to:

NO Kicking still! Maybe the longest since spring started.

Went sledding 3 days in a row. On the 10th, I went with Zeke. At the end I went on this huge sled with a hay bale in it...I rode it with my feet...I fell off, but was able to jump back on. I was staning like 2 feet off the ground going down a hill as tall as a building...It was so fun! At the end I hauled the heavy ass hay bale up the hill again then went for the ramp - face first! peeps were missing the ramp all day b/c of the groove in the snow. I was about to miss it as well till I planted my hands in in a miraculous way and nailed the ramp perfectly. Because of all the momentum with the big special sled I soared through the air! Higher than anyone all night by a factor of 3! I whiplashed my neck a bit and landed like a rag doll, but with no injury. I got up and threw my arms in the air for victory, while everyone at the top of the hill erupted in accolades. :D

11DEC2005
Finally kicked again. Almost 2 hours! Started with easy strings. I think I'm getting some duration on these easy pups - I likes. I added in whirls, ducks, a little swirls, dods, ripwalks to the bops.

Highlights:
3-4 eeeeeaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssy HIGH PLAINS DRIFTERS - I should try midstring.
2 ripsteins
swirl>blender BS
flurry BS
flip whirling swirl (1st time)
whirling swirl>whirling swirl (1st time)

I also practiced fury a bunch. I tried the set differently - just like a fast planting barrage, No dice though.

12DEC2005
My neck is sore b/c of that sledding finale - it caught up with me after 2 days. No footbag.

Zeke, Reile, and I had a meeting ewith Tocs about NYJ. First meeting ever. Basically Tocs secured the venue as he'd done in previous years, and we did everything else - without him knowing. Basically we just updated him on everything we've done.

His lack of knowledge about the event was surprising, and is the reason why he was still suggesting impossible things. The fact that he thanks us for "helping" is evidence that he doesn't know how much we are actually putting this thing on ourselves, and not helping him. Though it has been his event and I'm willing to compromise on stuff. I kinda hate the fact that people may be bamboozled by expecting the event to be as I have promoted it, and then experiencing Tocs change stuff as it happens. I may be overreacting though; things should go smoothly with minor bumps.

I was put off by the fact that he was talking so much, and basically ignoring me right out while I was speaking. I had to put more steel in my voice to stop his monologues, and to simply finish a statment without being interrupted.

I do applaud him on his event planning know how. He knows how to organize and delegate and what needs to be done, but he lacks the charisma and a link with the footbag community and event co-planners.

I did emphasize that there be no entry fee or serious competition. Tocs tried to include these things, oblivious of me saying that everyone was already expecting no entry fees. I think it may have gotten through a bit. I mentioned that it had never gone well in the past, and actually scares peeps away from coming to his events. Maybe in the future when our area is such, we should incorporate a different event layout.

I hate to sound so harsh. I am simply stating the facts like a robot, and not trying to clean them up since I won't be hurting Tocs feelings as he doesn't read this forum.

The meeting was good in that: I emphasized the event layout, secured Tim as the MC, and made sure he knew that we're bringing our own music - fuckin rusted root.

Yup - Barroque - 4x (from lft ft clip)
I didn't feel close to the move, but hit it like a muff.
Kicked with Kamil in his basement, then watched some footbag cids. SO fun!

14-15DEC2005
No footbag. Zeke and I put in the order for the NYJ shirts, and watched King Kong. Brian stopped by beforehand for some NYJ co-op. He drove all the way from home for that - cool ass guy.
