Hey fatties,

Does a GTA camping + shred weekend jam sound good like a good idea for you guys?

I'd like to do one before the weather gets cold.

Camping might be a tad ambitious for some of us - though it is a great idea, and Camille has been wanting to do it forever. What about a footbag/picnic on Toronto island instead?

I can play this Sunday Jon. I have a wedding to go to on Saturday though.

Oh, and Camille and I talked about maybe playing tonight? Anyone?

Mike, no more of this defeatist attitude!

We will camp!

Expect more details soon.

Also, I want to come hack with you jerks, I will figure out when that makes sense to do.

So I was at Worlds, wearing my FAT shirt, hanging out with "Tsunami" Sunil Jani. Sunil said that he really likes the shirt; I thought that was really cool.

For anyone who doesn't know, Sunil was the first person to hit a quad dex move. In fact he hit about 20+ different quads before anyone else hit one. He was the first to hit nemesis, and both sides.

So... yeah; yay Mike :D

haha, oh Sunil. Here's a Sunil story for yas: When Andrew and I went to our first tournie, ever, it was Chilly Philly '04. We met Kenny Shultz :D :!: and Tuan Vu and Genzu and Tsunami and it was awesome. We went out for dinner with them and the guy who's place we were staying at, Bob Green, and Andrew admitted that we were celebrating a "monthiversary". It was our... what, 4 year and 6 month. And boy did Sunil rip into us! hahaha yeah. First tournie, first BAP meetings, first dinner with "SERIOUS" footbaggers... as if it wasn't tense enough, and here was Sunil making fun of us and everyone laughing... He really does hit ya like a Tsunami!  haha, yeah he's an incredibly intelligent guy and an amazing footbagger. I have to find time to read your 8 day account of World's, Erik. I hope you had fun! It's unbelievable that it was your first. :D

Um. So. Today's sesh with Mike and Josh was great! We created a little thing that was fun and exciting and I think we should keep secret for now.

Let's play Sunday! I just found out today that my friend Cristina (whom some of you know) is singing at Kensington on Sunday. I was thinking, it would be cool to shred and chill there. It's a great vibe on Sundays. Any takers? Jon! Come!

Also, camping is wicked and I want to go. Mike, let's do both the island and the camping thing. Come on. :) It's in Scarborough or Oakville for goodness sake! The grounds better have a basketball or tennis court or something.

ah shitlocks, I thought it might be this weekend. Well, I'll be out of town on Saturday, but maybe we could play there on Sunday instead of Kensington? Keep in mind, they might kick us out. They have tried in the past. Which is the dumbest thing ever. So we could try to play there, or we could start at Kensington and move over to Buskerfest or something? It's up to you guys.

I think Tom said the camping weekend Sept 14-16.

Is that far enough in advance for people to make it???

Let me know what you guys decide on Sunday. I'll play at Kensington or Buskerfest at any reasonable time. I'm off to Hamilton so I wont be able to check modified until tomorrow, but I definitely plan on playing. I'll check in in the morning.

Fuck, it's this attitude that really bugs me about FAT.

You guys hardly ever show up to anything and it super bums me out because it makes it seem like you guys aren't all awesome and hardcore when really you are.

Somehow you all fail to show up at basically every event that is totally within range because... because what?? because of nothing!!

I don't get it. And I really didn't want to make a post like this. And I really should just shut up and not say stuff like this. But seriously, what gives?

You guys are so great and cool, maybe you need someone in the club to start taking more of an alpha role to actually get shit done.

Sorry if this post is sorta offensive, I just felt like you guys needed a mirror pointed at you to see what everyone else sees.

Bleh, I feel sorta bad about my previous post, but I still meant what I said.

Maybe I will come out to shred tomorrow and we can talk more about it and I can explain myself better.
