It's coming to me now: Dreams within Dreams.

Post by Samurai »

Good morning :) With the help of a good friend I went to bed before midnight wow! So now I'm up in the morning. It's cold. But, my heart is warm. (I have a jacket too) Gonna edit some video and hang out with the denizens of heaven and hell. Peace. -Sober day 28

When you have a discussion or argument with somebody, always wait til they are completely finished with what they are saying before you respond. When they finish their say, wait a couple seconds before responding. Those couple of seconds of waiting are key, since they make the other person feel as if you really listened to them, and are thinking about what they said. Even if you aren`t doing that, those couple seconds will make you look receptive and thoughtful. Of course, I do recommend that you actually DO listen to the other person and process their comments, but even if you don`t, use the 2 second rule.

a night in the rain/a day in the sun

Post by Samurai »

When its raining so hard, no one sees our tears. Our makeup smears and our skin saturates. We can not swim through rain though, like catfish we are at the bottom of the ocean floor. Twenty feet of flood knocking at our southern door. Why?! Why won't the sun and moon answer our prayers - or at least loosen up on the gravity just a bit. It's so unfair - we are the poor beautiful iris up to our stem in innocence. Would not our gardeners nurture us? Why did they plant us if they weren't perfectly able to care?! If we were fly traps from venus we would snap dragon their finger right off, wouldn't we? Alas, we can not exist without them in these laws of physics. Oh, the sun and the moon, why do you rain down on our gardeners, who don't know any better than to take it out on us. Why?! SUN WHY?! You must have a purpose. Why must our fate be pain?! ... Maybe there is a reason. But no matter the reason, how can we wait until our future comes?! How can we live in these unfair conditions?

Not knowing how, I took my first breath.
Not knowing why, I opened my eyes.
When I was born, into blinding light.

Not knowing what, I said my first word;
I do not know if it sounded absurd.
I wonder who heard...

Not knowing where, my first day at school.
Not knowing what's cool.
I sure played the fool.

Not knowing any of this, I got my first kiss.
Not knowing enough, I made my first love.
We hardly spoke, my first heart was broke.

Not knowing relief, I met my best friend.
Not knowing how, things were better again.
It came to an end, not knowing when I would see her again.

Not knowing... where I was going.
I left my life, my heart ice, the beautiful snowing
empty bliss - I wrapped my pain in this
please go away life - you wont be missed

but it wont, and I cant, oh please God leave me be
not knowing if I will ever be free
still I breathe, and still I be

not knowing hope, is a loop in a rope
don't hang your head honey
life's a test, not a joke

not knowing why
I wipe the tears from my eyes
I give up my pain
and watch the sun rise

I know night will fall
again and again
I know I will hope
to be with my friends
I know if I work hard
towards my goals
and "focus" on warmth
I'll melt through the cold

I know NOW. I KNOW now.
I know that I'm loved.
When I face the worse pain.
I know that I'm loved.
When the world falls on me.
I KNOW that I'm loved.
I'll always get up,
because I know that I'm loved.

Thanks Jordan :) You got the fan discount lol.

I CANT WAIT TO SESSION TOMORROW - I haven't been able to excercise for like 3 days. I've just been eating way too much way too often. You know what? That's okay :) I'm gonna shred my HEART out tomorrow. I'm talking effortless > tripless > effortless > tripless > guiltless > tiltless > tripless :)

8O I just had the most insane vivid dream EVER. I woke up and realized its the perfect plot for the 3rd installment in my movies - Freestyle Insanity. So, I wrote the whole thing down. Unfortunatly I won't show it to you, and the movie probably won't be made for 2-9 years so... BUT it is UTTERLY AMAZING. Anyways, Probably back to sleep for me now. SESSION TODAY 8)

Yeah!! Great session! Ashley and I kicked to my Heaven and Hell Mix. We had both just gotten over being sick for four 4 days so it was a come back session.

I hit:
swirl > op clip > swirl > op clip... about 10 times through
then started doing reverse swirl > infinity and got through that about 3 or 4 times
toe blur
pogo p mirage bs
symp whirl bsos
about 10 symp whirls over the whole session
symp whirl > symp mirage only one side
toe blur
terrage x 3
ducking symp mirage only 1 side
a grip of tripless shuffle which came pretty easy -
even my blurs which are usually hard
some crazy shuffle run that ended with a spinning symp butterfly super clean
symp infinity > symp whirl
nice atom smashers both sides
a run with like 7 or so taps on varying sides
clip set DLO > pixie ss clip > DLO > smear > run
flappers off crazy passes both sides ;)

Ashley Identified that when I duck I use a Lon style neck with a pete style feet.

I'm gonna let Ashley post about what she hit if she wants to but I will say that today she wasn't totally on but was still able to have a lot of fun and not get frusterated which makes me REALLY proud of her. Anyone can do well and enjoy themselves on a good day, but to enjoy yourself on a bad day means you are truly becomming at peace with yourself. Props Ashley, you really were super guitless today.
