The Admins have the ability to PM everyone on the board. I used it like once, but it was when the board was ransacked with trojans so I think it didn't work.
In the hands of 1000 members it would be god awful. All we would need is two people to use it frivolously and you'd see umpteen threads about the stupid Universal PM button. Not to mention the endless possibilities for spammers to plaster modified with crap.
Also... it's a bit of overkill to PM everyone when you only want to talk to 4 people.
I think it would be great if you could PM 4 different people at the same time the same way you would e-mail 4 different people. Maybe Mike knows something about this???
