pixie op whirl is not paradox. 99% of paradox tricks must be set from a clipper to receive the pdx add. its a nice hard 4 though.
My name: Jeremy Mirken, AKA Chocolatey Shatner, AKA jerk enemy rim.

I kick it with trunk chef elf and liz luck key my.

Senor Grommet, thank you for the clarification, I have had much respect for you in the footbag realm, so I was glad to see you point that out for me.

allright, nice morning session.

ATOMIC BUTTERFLY 4 adds
RIPWALK BSOS sealed by SMP WHIRL
WHIRL>SMP WHIRL
SWIRL X 3
SMP WHIRL BSOS
PIXIE DUCKING OSIS 4 adds
PARADOX WHIRL twice( it's about time ) 4 adds

Dude(s) (ettes)... I ripped with no socks in my roddie rod rodds and rubbed my little toe on my right foot raw till it bled and kept going till I hit what I wanted to. that is Hard X Core FOOTBAG "HXCFOOTBAG"

Allright, I guess I busted some new stuff:

SPINNING CLIPPER x 8 or so
DUCKING LEGOVER

(wooooooooooo, 3 big ol adds!)

These tricks seem like backtracking going from 4's and 5's .. but I guess I gotta know em to be able to move forward.

yeah.

Oh, paradox whirl sucks so bad for me, cause like, i practice it for like an hour and don't even hit it. what is my deal? I follow the instructions from Sunil about setting the bag straight up, then turning to it, which helped alot. cause I've hit the trick 3 times since i understood that. but dude, I totally have the worst problems with it. so............... what now? give up on it till I lose weight and then bust it out flawlessly every time and now keep working on symposium? maybe, but to be able to do stuff like superfly, i gotta have them paradox whirls FIRST! so...... what do i do? blah-blah, blah!BLAH!!! waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! whatever.

Here's the advice I got on paradox whirl that helped me sooo much. Do a few far pickups from clipper before you try it. Just simple, you're not working a run, you're prepping for PDX whirl.

Clipper > Far Pickup > Butterfly > Far Pickup > Butterfly > PDX Whirl

Hope it helps! Let us know!

so, tuesday may thirty, 2006 was the last time i was here.

It was a couple of months into my new job as a broadband technician. well... it was tough to even have a life period outside of that Job. I have now been promoted and will most likely have a life now.... I think.

since i have been gone I got real fat. REAL fat. real out of shape. Physically, Emotionally, Spiritually. all that and more I am sure.

what I am going to do is:

Lose weight and get in shape

get back in to footbag.
get back in to living right.
yadda blah.

so here is my blog. today 7/8/07 I weigh: 268

(dang)

I better post a pic of my fat self too.

Image

pretty fat huh?

Best of luck getting back into the sport that loves you back :)

Ive lost another 2-3 Lbs

been eating only organic foods and water only to drink.

thinking about starting another footbag club/group.

first one I started had almost zero results, had a few folk stop by but nobody was interested in freestyle, only circle kicking.

fatboy slim session at helder park:

DUCKING BUTTERFLY
SMP WHIRL>OSIS
FLIP WHIRL
OSIS BSOS

I watched a vid with jim penske in it today and I saw him do an osis, and I noticed that his back was completely turned to the catch/set... I am thinking this is the correct technique. I tried it and it helped me alot. my set are no longer rolly, but the bag sets nice and straight.

also

a guy saw me kicking and he came up to me and said...

"I know that you are doing your own thing over here, but I just wanted to come over here and tell you that you are totally AWESOME"

I said "Thank you"

he said "I mean all these things that you are doing"

and I opened my big mouth and said

"... with my big fat gut and ALL, right?"

he said "that is not what I was trying to say at all"

and then I felt dumb, and just said, "thank you"

great way to welcome folks to the sport of footbag.

Total weight loss so far: 9lbs

current weight: 259

still only eating natural organic foods, drinking water only, watching caloric intake, and busting footbag daily.

I feel better too, physically... i feel... good. hard to explain, guess I didn't know I felt bad before really, and I notice that certain intermittent pains are gone. Ive got to NOT fall off, this has GOT to be a lifestyle change and not a diet. footbag community I hope you are ready for me, because I am on my way...

also, I think I have figured out the secret to blender. If anyone sees this let me know if I am wrong.

upon the set from clipper, quickly start the whirl dex still on the uptime and when the dex is complete, then you have plenty of time to turn your back to it and turn it into an osis, which if caught correctly, you can set the bag straight back up for the continuation of the string.

and that is what I believe is the proper technique.

made my 2nd vid today. pretty cool, just of some stuff I am practicing now that I am back into footbag instead of fatbag.

http://www.footbag.org/media/1409/Helde ... ession.wmv

the person filming the video most often forgot I had a head, so they didn't film it that much.

all kinds of constructive criticism is requested.

I couldn't watch the video, it wouldn't let me for some reason or another, but it's great you're getting back into footbag!

However, if you wanna lose weight, I'd suggest doing a bit of cardio along with footbag everyday. Maybe find a place that's about a 15-20 minute walk/jog and then walk/jog there, do your session and then walk/jog back home. Stuff like that.

Good luck with all things footbag, and good luck with losing that weight.

Man...

Schoolin specific strings is new to me. Eric Chan Gave me some good strings to do. I was at the W.O.H.S. tennis courts schoolin one of his lines that he does every session. I got one eighth of the way through and was happy with that. I will make the whole thing. I will post a vid of my progress, but... I'm really overweight in this vid so ... It's kind of Gross...

so only watch it if
you want to see my progress
you want to see how fat I once was
you want proof a fat guy can really do some good stuff when properly motivated
