I do! I don't care who's I get. This would just be fun to do. I'm giving two bags I need to stitch to a hall monitor who will take 10 hours of detention off for me before she quits next week. Once I'm done with those, I'd be up for making this one to trade.Skippy! wrote:Wish I could stitch. Anyone want a lopsided 12 panel made out of crappy fabric?
I'm no pro stitcher & my gathering is still a bit off-but I would be more than happy to trade one of mine to anyone willing to receive it - Skippy
I'll start stitching a new bag tonight. I really want in on this...do we have to be a pro stitcher to get in ??
I, Ben Roscoe, wish to participate in the 32 pannel bag exchange.
I'm only just getting a handle on making nice 32s but I'm REALLY happy with what I've now come up with...
Keep it real

I have decided that two bag exchanges would best satisfy the interest generated in this thread: one bag exchange for professional-level bag makers (people confident that product they create/sell is roughly on par with "the best on the world's market") and a separate exchange for up-and-coming bag makers (stitchers who feel their 32-panel product still needs testing, sticthers who sew for fun only, stitchers just starting to make 32s, stitchers not confident their product is on par with the "best on the market").
I will run the pro-level exchange. I am looking for an up-and-coming stitcher to run the up-and-coming exchange.
The following is an alphabetical list of stitchers who have expressed interest in participating in the bag exchanges. If you have "(up-and-comer)" next to your name, you will not be part of the pro-level bag exchange (you may state your case to me privately via PM and I'll consider entry into the pro-level exchange).
Richard Abshire
Alexey Antipov
Jochen Bauer
Peter Bowler (up-and-comer?)
Julien Cote (up-and-comer?)
Dan Cyr (up-and-comer)
Garrett Dryden (up-and-comer)
Peng Peng Du
Charled Dupuy
Michal Hadas
Hania Mickiewicz
Chris Miller
Jeremy Mirken
Dave Morawski (up-and-comer)
Tom Mosher
Nate Pipenburg
Jacob Raye
Ben Roscoe (up-and-comer?)
Joshua Rose (up-and-comer)
Johnny Suderman
If you are on this list, but your status is incorrect, state it in this thread and PM me about it.
If you are on this list and you DO NOT want to be a part of this bag exchange, state it here and PM me.
If you want to participate and are not currently on my list, state your desire to participate here and the categpry in which you feel you belong.
# days left to sign up for bag exchange: 2
Edit: some changes made to the list. Please check.

Awesome..great compromise.
If I may make a suggestion...the "up-and-comers" should have at least 2 weeks to make the bag. I know that personally, because I'm new to stitching, I take a lot of time to make sure my stitching is uniform and precise. Because of my slow pace it takes me a bit to complete bags.
I'm soo down for this trade, though.

To Each of the stitchers in the PRO-level bag exchange:
please PM me your real names and addresses.
Once I have all names and addresses, I will have my lovely assistant perfom the calculations necessary to produce a bag exchange.

Please read the very first post in this thread. I have updated it with the newest information. Entry for the exchange has passed. Stitchers will be assigned to stichees tonight and PMs will be sent out tonight as well (most likely). Not all addys have made it to me yet however, so your PM may not have an address. Do not contact the person you are stitching for.

Hey!
As I've already told to Jeremy, I have a little problem...
I am now living in Mexico City... And I'll be there for 2 more mouths...
The thing is that here, the post doesn't really work... Like I've heared sooooo many times that things that you send NEVER arrives... so I guess, if I send my footbag from here, it'll never arrive... and that would be bad...
I hope that the one who I'll be making the exchange with, will be ok to wait 2 mouthes... btw, I'll wait 2 mounthes to cause I gave my adress in France... but I should probably break the "secret"...
Well, tell me more Jeremy...
(I just hope I won't be kicked out cause of thing... pleeeeeeeeeeeeez

The date for Exchange entries has passed. Stitchers have already been assigned to others, however, they don't know it yet. Sorry, but I gave 6 days notice and you either didnt see this thread or didn't bother to participate soon enough. Can't go opening the floodgates for late entries. I had to turn several people away from participating in pro exchange and it wouldn't be fair if you were allowed late entry.
