Chad said he's going to come if the Redondo guys or Chris drive. Justin Dale said he might come.
Lon Smith, Jim Penske and Joe Crain said they are going to come. Joe is going to be in charge of our Four Square event.

Wait . . . wait. People coming to this event, dont go reserving anything at ANY hostel yet. We (as in Emily, myself, and Fletch) are still deciding where to house the out-of-towners. There are several options we are considering so far, as in hostels, my house, a hotel, and campgrounds. Once the time draws nearer and we get a clearer picture of how many shredders to expect, we will post our final recommendations of where to stay. As it is, my place could hold no more than about 15 people, which would be stretching its resources thinly. Ans since we expect about twice that many people to come to the event, it is obvious not everyone can stay with me. So the questions become, should I offer to put up some or lots of people, and will the rest of the attendees prefer camping/hoteling/hosteling accomodations. As more information becomes known, we'll surely place it here.

Sorry, but campgrounds would be SICK!!!!!!!!!!! A 2-3 day campout event would just be utterly and truly inspirational. I used to go to campout festivals around here all the time. Drum circles around the bonfire at night...Craziness.Senor Grommet wrote: There are several options we are considering so far, as in hostels, my house, a hotel, and campgrounds.

No, but... my mom, brother and I will be hiking in the Sierra Nevadas this summer sometime late July or early August. I asked my mom if we could stop by Santa Cruz on our way back to the Oakland Airport from the Sierras. She was all for it, so I might be stopping by sometime around then. I'll PM you or Mirken or someone though when stuff is more concrete.
