This is just an update confirming the freestyle events at the US Open.

Open Routines (2 days)
Open Shred 30 (1 or 2 days, depending)
Open Big 3 (1 day)

Intermediate Routines (2 days)
Intermediate Shred 30 (1 day)

Women's Routines: This depends on the number of female competitors.

I am putting it out there to anyone who would want to run official Four Square, which is fine with me. Let me know, a lot of people like it so we can offer it if someone wants to run it. The other event we have sealed up.

Anyway, more updates to come as they come in. It should be big, we are aiming for the Open to be the equivelant of Euro's for North America. The champion again will be the U.S./North American champion. See you there!

If it's the equilevent of Euro's in Europe why is it called <b>US</b> Open for <b>North</b> America? Why not call it the North American open, or a more clever name that still shows it's for the entire contenent? Maybe this is totally pointless and unnecesary, but it's what I thought of when I read that.

Don't take it the wrong way. I'd like to see something Euro's on this side of the ocean.

I saw Rob Adams (net player) today and he says he'll be there.

Basically, I was voted down by the rest of the Sole Purpose group, they are the people who not only started the group, and the event, but also pretty much started the sport we all play (John Stalberger, Kenny Shults, Kendall KIC, Tricia George, Paul Vorvick, and Ted Huff). North American Footbag Championships is what I voted for, but got overruled by tradition. It's been a long running event, we simply expanded it this year. Regarless, it is going to be very large and official, no matter the title. This continent doesn't have too many large freestyle/net/golf and heck, foursquare events all in one anymore. I would like to see a return to that.
Much love to Canada, I want to see everyone out here, Jorden rocked it last year.

PS Everyone school routines! I will give more updates as they come.

Cool story. I still feel the name should be changed, but I can see it not being changed with a history like that. :) I wish I could come out to it. I wish I could get to any events really.

I'm so pumped! Man, I've been training for this for a while, and I still have 51 days 21 hours and 48 minutes till I get to be there (I have a countdown on my phone!)

 Schooling my Shred 30 (I want a 200+ score)
 Working on Harder Sick 3's (the old ones were good, but not good enough)
 Drilling string consistancy (for rippin run and maybe the circle comp)

I can't do my routine yet, I'm not even close to the whole thing and I get tired after 60 contacts (only one minute of shred, and it's easy moves too)

Going to start a training regement that includes:
-General shred/routine warm up
-Shred 30 DRILLZ
-Sick 3 mid string (to get them perfect)
-Work on longer strings with almost no BOP and lots of good 3's that I don't normally do (Stepping same pickup and ducking illusion)

I CAN'T WAIT TO SHRED WITH EVERYONE!
Jim, Daryl, Sunny, Jeremy, Emily, Mike, Rory, Byrin, Kevin R, Kevin C, James, Sam, Nate, Justin, Ricky, Lon, Dylan, Zeb, Zac, Kyle, Andrew?, Evan?, Ben?, Chris??? And anyone/everyone that's not from the west coast!!!

I'm sad to say that I won't make it. My buddy Ty is getting married that weekend. Sounds like a blast though.

I think I might be able to make it. What's the accomodation situation look like? Do I need to book a hotel? If so I'd like to find one or more people to room with.

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.
