I PMed you the vid, but your post does sound very ignorant to me. Ovbiously saying a little joke (not that I, personally, would joke about humping an antelope as your example suggests) is going to be less of a big deal then promoting drugs. I don't think this vid is that bad and I don't think that any kids are going to be like "Hey! Smoking pot... now there's a good idea!"; but this is what i thought was lame:
what a world....an illegal plant... sounds unnatural...
there are obvious reasons that this plant is different from other plants. I'm pretty neutral on the whole legalizing campaign, but you simply CAN'T ignore or pretend to be indifferent of the dangers of this particular plant. Be aware of them and act responbily and I respect it. Acting like smoking weed is no more significant then drinking a bottle of water seems irresponbile. It's fun, but significant.

keep it real

This is crazy... I'm sure I'd be right in saying that most people on modified would not mind seeing a footbag video that also has a scene of a guy smoking weed in it, regardless of whether they do or not.... Right? If you really feel the need to step in with stuff like this, mods, wouldn't a better solution be to just add a disclaimer to the post?

ignorant? whos pretending/promoting/acting like what? all I said was it SOUNDS unnatural(like illegal tree or something), I'm aware of all the debate over pot, do you even know the history/controversy of illegalization? lets just say, they didnt exactly illegalize it just cause its bad or dangerous for you (alcohol and tobacco?) so....I dont know...you misunderstood me or something...I wasnt trying to promote it or anything, just pointing out that most illegal things are man made or mans actions, so what I said wasnt ignorant or lame, and who knows about the antelope thing...people do crazy shit, like canadian hiphop

The budah that makes it's way from plant form to bong/joint/whatever form is as man made as anything else. A chair is made from a plant (being a tree), the same way that a blunt is made from weed... If you're talking about man's actions, smoking a phatty qualifies as an action.

Marijuana fits your description of "Most Illegal Things" very nicely.
...what point are you trying to make?

my first post was an observation, second was a clarfication, i wasnt trying to make any point, other than maybe relieve you of your misperception.

I didnt say anything about bongs or anything I said the PLANT, plants are not man made, they may be encouraged by man, but nature makes plants by itself. A coca tree isnt illegal (well maybe here, cause its foreign to the ecosystem) but cocaine is. plants are usually only illegal if they upset the ecosystem.

and now it seems to me, that your just being a selfrighteous ass, I understand what your saying, but your either avoiding, or unable to grasp a different perspective....

you remind me of 'When keepin it real goes wrong' dude, chill

Oroza, did you watch the video? Because that's what this thread is for... after this post I'm not going to respond to you again.

Your first post was a statement of your perception. I posted back saying that I don't agree with you. You told me that I don't understand you. I agreed that I do not understand... now I'm an ass. :?

I've stated my perception. Who are you to say that I didn't consider your outlook on the issue? Just because I came to a different conclusion does not mean that I'm being narrow minded.

That's one of the stupid things about having a little debate on a forum... it really doesn't simulate a real-life argument that well at all.

The whole "you're not keeping it real" tangent ( :? :? :? ):
Again, who are you to say that I'm not perfectly calm right now and that I wasn't when I wrote my other posts?

At this point I think our discussion is finished. I have stated my oppinion, you've stated your'se. We clearly don't agree with eachother. Who cares...

keep it real (as I always do)
:P
