How can I get into stiching bags??

did you print it out and cut out the pattern around the outer line? i have used it and mine came out smaller than a golfball but still a good size... how big do you want yours to come out? what is the "right size"?

maybe you put too much gather... that has a tendency of shrinking a 4 panel bag pretty good...

do you have microsoft word on your computer? that is the program i use to make templates bigger because it keeps them true to size and doesn't warp them... let me know and i will tell you how to do it

No but I have it at school and internet so i can do it there. But anyway yes i printed out the outer lines.. and im not talking golf ball small im talking like.... dime small. I think it printed way too small... :/ ps whats gather i dont think i used that?

if it came out dime small then yes something is not right...

GATHER is how much wrinkle you put into each seam... it affects how the bag looks, breaks in, how long it lasts etc... it is very important... here is a picture of gather... notice the wrinkles in each seam...

i messed up on all my hacks because i cant get any to print correctly, what were you saying about word? you said you could make it work that way or soemthing.

if you want to make it bigger just go how ever much over 100% you want... it keeps it true to shape... just bigger or smaller

anyway, here is the hack i attempted to make, it was too small, and in the picture its wet, note it is filled rocks and dirt so it looks lame and plays shitty.... not that it would play well if it had proper filling but, i suppose i better get better.

Ok, so either i messed up badly or its just cause of the dirt.. it stalled friggin sweet man! i was doing tricks i couldnt even do on my sandmaster.And it was filled with dirt and rocks but then the dirt just kind of.... floated out? i dont know beccause of leak or if thats natural, ill refill it with sand, or pellets as soon as i get some.

EDIT: filled it with rice, it rocks now

And also wanted to say thanks for all the help from the people who posted in here and helped me learn about making bags, it kind of makes you feel proud making your first bag that you can actually freestyle with! Not bad for my second attempt i dont think...... pic coming soon i hope, it no longer resembles barney's remains. Its round and stallible.... i feel accomplished

hmm... im not sure on how to sew the mr sandbag pieces together, i made a different pattern on the last hack i made... is it the same thing but with different shaped pieces?
BTW: do you sell those 14 panel gobstoppers they look cool.
