I had a session today and it went well.
Besides lots of kicking I hit around the world both sides, consec leg overs, a symp whirl 8) and a couple of spinnnig osi, clippers(both sides), and a merkon!
Unfortunately My hip popped on a toe stall and i had to stop, but I did hit a symp whirl, which i was planning on since the moment i woke up this morning 8)

Whoa, man. Take it easy!

I really don't want to read about you hurting yourself again and not being able to play at all. :\

Props on symp whirl though. :P

I had a mad session today with the Oklahoma players today and it was sweet. Today was the first day I actually had fun playing footbag. I feel like I'm getting alot stronger and I will soon be back on course like I was before, only better. I shred with only movements that are coomfortable to my body, which can be any movements if the proper thought goes into execution.

Had a trampoline footbag sess today and my Hip is noticably stronger eacg day. I hit symposium quantum both sides and flail on one side. Im being really careful, and although this lprobably sounds dangerous, I am never pushing my own limits, I only do what my body feels comfortable with. I also hit far legover both sides on the ground.

Ben,
I'm really glad to hear the injury is healing quickly and better than originally anticipated. You are one of my favorite footbag players. Your resolve and high spirits thru this whole ordeal is inspiring. It's like the words "give up" aren't even in your vocabulary. I think we could all learn something from that. Rock on man.

Yeah, this has got to be the most inspiring blog in the history of the universe.

It took like, less than 3 weeks for you to get back to footbag.

Thanks guys,
I feel alot stronger today and I hardly have a limp anymore. I have been spending tons of time training on the trampoline and it is definitely key to my rehabilitation. ONce I see a chiropracter I'll be back in the game.
I dont know If Eric chan has a blog, but its definitely more inspiring than mine. He couldnt play for a long time, but now hes tearin it up and even hitting triples! 8O
Also
Gyro mirage>far osis>op clip>spining clip>gyro mirage>first try>Thats Bsos Baby! 8)
Sorry about the bragging.

I am good at trampline footbag now. I discovered a few new concepts today and had alot of fun. I will try to post a vid sometime bc its fuckin sick! Unfortunately I dont have a camera. Other than trampoline rehab with a footbag i havent been playing any footbag. Right now the most important thing for me is rest.

IN footbag there are 2 main ways you will see ppl doing toe stall. ONe, the most common one, is the style in which you set the bag off of your toe by thrusting your knee up. Another way to do toe stalls is what I call leg over style where you just kind of hop to set the bag really low. The latter is the easiest way to do tramp toe stalls. Ive done thousands. I can also do clippers this style. Ive thought about spinning out of them, but im still not that strong. I can see myself hitting some bad ass stuff later in life. I have done some toe spins. ANother way to do toe stalls on the tramp is to set the bag really high and you have to get the rhythm just right. theres also another way but i dont feel like explaining it right now.
Thats all i gotta say aboout that. thanks for reading and merry christmas.

As of now my style has been diminished to long styley runs composed of spins and osis. Occasionally i throw in a blender or spinning whirl.

My ultimate footbag goal is to play footbag atop a motorcycle whilst jumping from ramp to ramp. I know this sounds crazy, but its really not as out of reach as it sounds. Whirling double swirls anyone?

I played about 7 hours today workin my all around clipper game, tons of swirls and ripstiens (one side, but reall close to bsos, and one sided whirls. Actually I can hit regular whirls on flipside, but I choose to limit myself to spinning whirls, symposium whirls, ps whirls combined with cpining, etc. HIt twirls for the first time today where the swirl is reverse. 8)
The Only problems I am contending with are my back pains (which are tolerable), and the fact that I cannot thrust my right knee straight up or my hip pops and that hurts bad :x
I can tell Im going to be good again. I havent played any trampoline hack in a wh ile, but I probably will tomorrow.
I have also been following all of Lons advice because he is the cooliest and he's smart. Not cool like me though, his ancestors arent from poland (that I know of).
Anyways thats all I gotta say about that.

I also hit gyro swirl today the first 3 attempts. I also do alot of flappers. I like to stretch in a tub full of hot water because it is relaxing and easier to do because of the lightweithtedness caused by the water. i am wearing superman pajamas and it is 1:33 in the morning. Santa has already stopped by. I got some new motocross boots and A dutchmaster footbag!

Breaks huh? The only breaks I have are to take a drink, or when someone else has the bag. Other than that Im pretty much nonstop shredding. Im really sore today, luckily this morning there was a vibrating heat massager under the tree for me.
I guess yesterday was really not one long sess, but two because I had to go pick someone up from work in the middle of my sess. Thanks for reading my blog!
