I learned my pixies without walls, but I paid alot of attention to my form all the way through, so my pixies are fairly clean. Maybe I took a risk by cutting them off early, but things came out just fine up to this point. so it's all good.... walls or no walls, footbag is fun. ...but it's slightly more fun without them.
for me its really simple: with or without walls a double legover will always be harder than a dimwalk. having walls on just makes the dlo a bit easier. the walls do nothing to hinder my pixie.
On probably. I used to have walls and I could pixie but I took 'em off a long time ago and now I can't pixie with them. I kinda roll the bag off the side of my foot. My pixies are nasty terrible things now, so I regret it.
On the bright side nobody tells me I have cheater shoes now that I cut the walls off.

Agree with Ian's post. If you pixie clean with the walls off then I don't really care if you have them off. It worries me when people are learning pixie though. Everyone should hit hippy pixies and it would never be an issue
I like walls on. No logic behind it, that's just the way I like it. Safety net? Hell no. I'm a form neurotic and crappy sets due to being caught in the toe walls aren't good enough for me.
