I would like to see more money go toward teaching people how to spell "defense". Unless of course we're talking about cutting funding from de fence they wanted to build between the US and Mexico.

I second cutting and pasting the original post and sending it to all of your friends and family. One quick read and they will be pounding down their senators doors to dump more money into education.

I'm sorry Sam, no real offense, but your "real party" sounds like another one of your 'off the cuff' idealistic posts that hasn't been fleshed out in any sort of solid manner. I mean you have made a post of talking points and none of it makes any more sense that anything the other parties have said. Everyone can agree that global warming and the demoralization of the US is bad and that governmental reform and better education are much needed. However, once you begin to flesh those topics out a bit, not everyone believes or agrees on global warming as a real problem, how the US is being demoralized and how to fix it, what the problems are with government that need to be fixed, or what constitutes a better educational system.

I believe that you have a good ideal in your head. Now you need to get about 5-10 like minded action-oriented people to sit down with you and write out about 100 pages of WHAT is wrong and HOW you will fix it.

Oh yeah and in response to fatbaggers idea about buying an island. Daryl and Sunny Genz couldn't even convince the footbag community to come together and buy 50 acres in New Mexico, what makes you think they'll buy an island?

Damn, I spelled defense wrong? Not that I'm going to do this, but what would be the next course of action after writing the 100 pages. Publish?.. I dunno it just seems hopeless. I knew that my feeble thought wouldn't change anything but I figured it might help a little. I hoped.
