Illini don't spike and shred
I'll be there.... I think sean is driving down. Maybe people can ride with him? Freddy tell your parents that we will make you study for tests at least three hours each day.

Well. the first day of the event was a huge success. Mr. hefner or hughy as he likes to be called provided a wonderful buffet for all the players. Representatives from around the country partook in the tournaments first competitions. Niel Schermerhorn(Toledo, Iowa) was the recipient of the Ten thousand dollar hugh hefner scholarship for winning sick three with Blazing whirl>mullet>spinning paradox torque. Yours truly took second with janiwalker>fury> pixie ducking merlin and recieved an all expense paid trip to costa rica. Eric siegel(Chicago, Illinois) placed third with Leaning mirage> phoenix> alpine blurry whirl and recieved $500 and a 2 year subscription to Hughy's favorite magazine. Honorable mension goes to Phill Gerber(Providence, Rhode Island) for hitting quantum egg beater> quantum mirage> quantum sameside refraction. There were over thirty registered for this event and it was close amongst many.
Four square results (17 contestants):
First-Drew Phillips(Anarbor, Michigan)- $100 and 1 yr subscription
Second- Sean O'conor(New Bedford, Massachusettes)- $50 and 1yr subscription
Third- Reilly O'conor(New Bedford, Massachusettes)- 1 yr subscription
At about nine the shredding wound down, and the scene moved to local basil tai, where hughy was nice enough to pick up the bill for us. After that back to the hotel where everyone enjoyed the feature film the sandlot.
Good nigth for now. More to report tomorrow for 2 minute routine, 2 square, circle comp, and RipRun.

Nine o-clock and everyone has gone home. Beatiful day. 80 degrees out, and not a cloud in the sky. The girls showed up today and were out in their bikinis. We had a bit of technical difficulties with the event today early on (speaker problems) But we had our technician look at it and we were on our way.
The twins Sean and Reilly O'conor took first and second respectivly in the Two square. Third went to Owen Wilson( Chicago, Illinois). This was an unofficial event and no prizes were awarded. All participants recieved a Bunny T-shirt.
Eric siegel won ripping (Two footbags, Champions league, and a t-shirt) run with close to eigthy contacts in his last run. Runner up was none other than Niel Schermerhorn (Champions league and a footbag) putting on a good display( this kids got game!)Third went to Byran Rosen(Urbana, IL)(Champions league and t-shirt). This event was also unofficial, but prizes were left over from the ones donated in case Hughy did not come through.
Circle Comp
1. Niel Schermerhorn ($500)
2. Reid Strellner ($300)
3. Byran Rosen ($100)
The final routine and the winner of the $20,000 Hugh hefner Scholarship was....... Niel schermerhorn. That kid is set for a few years of school. He had the only dropless routine of the event, and was busting fearless strings periodically through his routine. Props.
Second, and a $10,000 hugh hefner schlarship went to Byran Rosen.
Eric siegel took third, and recieved a year pass to chipotle burrito courtesy of Hughy. Eric was really excited about that.
I would like to thank Jenny Davis for donating all the bags, that were given out as prizes, Myself for donating all the dvd's as prizes, and of course Hughy for all his love and donations, this event really couldn't have been such a great sucess without him.
Well that's it folks. See you next year.

yeah, i've been sifting through the footage of this event. Some really great stuff. I hope to have a video out within a month or two. I know there were some other people filming as well so I expect there should be a few vids. My highlight of the footage though is your reaction eric after you hit your sick three.
