Which one is harder? Rev Whirl, or Normal Whirl
I cannot reverse whirl. I have tried to school it on many occasions and in many different ways, and no matter how dillegent I am and how good my form is, it makes the tendons in my knees tear themselves into tiny peices. Alright...it just makes them hurt a little, but you get the picture.
For those who can physically do them, rev whirls are easier, for those of us who can't seem to bend that way.......well you get the picture.

I hit rev whirr in the stanford xmas video, and i am nowhere near hitting normal whirr. Having a lot of experience in rev whirl as a downtime and uptime component (i have hit rev whirling far butterfly), I would say it is much easier than whirl downtime, and for me, easier uptime too!! My knee is pretty gnarly flexible though, and i supposed i haven't drilled whirling sets at all or really even thought about them... when i try them, it hurts my knee like slowsis was just talking about. I think it has a lot to do with the way your legs are constructed and which way your knee is naturally more flexible! With a rev whirling set though, you really have to move your whole body backwards in order to hit ANYTHING in front of you, so that may make it naturally more difficult than whirling set. does far rev whirr get paradox, and does far double dyno? I feel like the issue of the half dex not receiving paradox is countered once a whole dex is completed...

Far Rev whirr and Far Double dyno don't get Pdx because they don't have the hip pivot that pdx whirling tricks have
I remember starting this thread after hitting rev whirl for the first time and being amazed at how easy it was. I've since then hit Rev-whirling butter and legover, and Rev-Whirr is way way easier then regular Whirr. I think what Brian said is right, it just depends on your knees. Though rev whirling set is way harder then regular whirling set.
So yeah, different body types make for easier or more difficult times learning certain tricks.
