the location of the event has been changes from Centennial park to the Bicentennial Mall in Downtown Nashville. this place has tons of amenities that Centennial Park cannot offer such as: multiple ethnic restaurants, tons of shade, shooting water fountains, a flea market, gift shops, etc. it looks like we're going to have a good turnout for the event. we have confirmed footbaggers traveling from Atlanta, Huntsville, Knoxville, Louisville, & Memphis. we'll actually have 3 - 5 disc freestylers in attendance too.

Schedule:
Noon - people show up & kick
Sunset - people stop kicking
Party at Elliott's game room (directions released later)

the turnout for the upcoming event keeps looking better & better. we now have 18 confirmed attendees: Atlanta 2, Chattanooga 2, Huntsville 2, Knoxville 2, Louisville 1, Memphis 1, & Nashville 8. we've still got a few people sitting on the fence, so remember to use peer pressure. the one thing that seems to be working against us is the weather, there's a 50% chance of rain on Saturday. the shred would not be that affected by the rain, although it might put a damper on the disc & net action. the Sunday forecast drops the rain down to 30%. i know a number of people are staying in Nashville Saturday night so there's the option to kick on Sunday as well.

please pay attention to where you park. use the map http://www.state.tn.us/environment/park ... al/map.pdf you need to park in one of the 3 lots that specify weekend parking. the parallel spaces along 6th & 7th Ave are 2 hour spaces only. most of the kicking will be directly across from the farmers market food court at the center of the building. if it rains we'll move the shred circles underneath the railroad trestle (at the south end of the park) where there should be plenty of room. i'll see everyone on Saturday.
