Newly added to the first post: EVENTS. Check them out.

This means you have to prepare a routine, Shawnell. :-) I'm excited that you're coming too. Don't get your hopes up about me, I have been playing less than once a week for a long time now.

It's in your e-mail box, but here you go:

John Leys is super cool. Also, he wrote:Online Registration:

Finally, online registration is now open through May 22nd. Please register online now so we know who's coming. Entry fee for all net players is $60 regardless of which events or how many events you enter. Net players also have access to the freestyle area and to compete in freestyle events if schedule permits, at no additional cost.

Freestyle-only entry fee is $30 for competitors, $15 for non-competitors who intend to play in the freestyle room on Saturday and Sunday.

Novice net players and non-player spectators are welcome to register at no cost, or to just show up any of the three days!

Everyone please pre-register so we can get headcount and plan appropriately.

Neither net nor freestyle are receiving cash prizes. The rental costs of the facility require that we charge what we're charging, and Steve is paying the rest out of pocket. Thank you Steve. :-)

As of right now we're expecting to give away 2 boxes of clothing and goodies, and a bunch (10+) of donated quality 32's.

Just over two weeks away!

Senor Grommet wrote:I have heard that Anne and Chad Devlahovich from Southern California areas are going to be coming up for the event.

I also know that Chris Pinkus and Bryan Fournier have been playing regularly recently, which means that they may also be in attendance.

Are players from San Diego thinking about attending? How about players from the Washington area? Behmer?

Idaho?

Las Vegas guys?
As honored as I feel to be called out by name I will not be making it. It was a hard choice, but the combination of having a lot of things going on at home and not playing footbag much lately has led me to the decision to sit this one out. Next year?

Alright folks, the event is coming up. It's time to REGISTER! Woo!

Seriously, even if you're just hang out you need to register. They need a real head-count asap.

P.S. I'm sad to hear that, Scott. :(

It's true! I'm confirmed! I'm coming out of a nasty ankle injury so I don't know how hard I'll be playing, but it's sure to be a good time regardless.

So far my lodging is still up in the air, so if anyone needs a roommate, I'm keen to split some expenses.

Hekkyes!

Aw that sucks, Chris. :(

Thanks Erik, I'm sure the winner will be stoked. I'm going to make a list of the sponsors and post a big thanks as soon as I receive all of the prizes. ;-)

It's my job to do publicity, get prizes donated, and try to get people attending this event to register (you pay when you arrive at the event, not when you register) asap.

It's your job to register for the event, come to the event, and help remind me to reapply sunblock to my already burned face any time I'm outside. Owwie. :-?

Don't forget that while it will likely be sunny and hot during the day, late afternoon and early evening gets really cold really fast. Be sure to bring a warm hoodie or coat with you. See you soon!

I marked my calendar wrong.

Bummer.

I had made some adult beverages for the event, but it looks like I am most likely going to be out of town this weekend.

hey aaron.

as you know, i have a boot on my foot from my recent surgery, and my going or not is banking on two questions. one:

will i be able to keep my foot "up" for most of the ride there and back. also, my mom wants to know what kind of car you guys are driving, and when we are leaving/coming back.

okay, thats more than two, but thats what i need to know. idk about yogan, but i think if he isnt i still could.
