Between your editing, and Flash's wicked style and creativity, this is my favorite vid right now.... :D

Hey thanks again guys.
Lots of people have asked me the song name. It's "Dark Side of the Frog" and "Dark Side of the Sun" by Modeselektor.

This video fucking rocks. I love in the intro with the timed flashes of light, the static/color filters, and most of all matts scary eyes. The music is great; I've been playing the video minimized just for it.

In a typical erik way, the first shot is perfect with a stamp of flash gorden nicely placed right next to bevier.

All slow motion is appropriate and there are enough locations and sessions mixed in there to keep it interesting. I've watched it about 10 times now :)

I would have left out the birthday part though!

Thanks, erik!

Thanks for the critique.
The last words in the song are "Happy birthday", and the song is from the album "Happy Birthday", so I thought, especially since I was gonna use the clip somewhere in the video anyway, that this was really appropriate. Maybe if you think of it as a whole rather than this being a stand-alone video, 'cause it's not. So the happy birthday is just as much a part of the Bevier segment as it will be of a Clavens segment that will come after it (and as you can tell the snippet of the Laroche segment comes straight into the Bevier too...).

I do appreciate constructive criticism, especially if it's negative (because nobody on Modified really submits to that), I just thought I'd explain myself :P

Thanks again!

I've watched this video a lot. A lot a lot. Since you like constructive criticism I will give you some! :)

- In the beginning with the pillar and the Flash Gordon poster I think after he drop instead of letting the clip continue I would pause and then zoom in on the poster, slowly fading it into color or something like that. I'm not sure how to do that, but I think it would be more impacting.

- I really like the parts where it looks like a tape is skipping, good idea. I think it could be better if it showed more the trick though.

- Some of the shred didn't fit the music as well as your editing, almost like you just threw some clips in there for a few spots.

- I usually really hate the reverse motion thing in footbag videos, but in this case I liked it. Not sure why.

- The part where you showed a few clips of the ceiling straight into Alpine Fear was sick.

- A few slow motion spots didn't make sense with the music. Specifically the one with toe blender and one earlier in the video I forget.

Great video. It makes me want to edit one right now.

Gordon is great. The more footage the better. KICKASS was a great event too.

Peace.

Yea, I remember this, these were such great times.

I had my first Canadian McDonalds Burger there.

What happened to the making of the Ben Rea section...just kidding that would be embarrassing.

bev has always been great since Ive known about him. He has such intensity. He always stands out in any tourny because of it.

Thanks erik.
