See what happens when you try triple whirl and quadruple ATW? It's not necesary if you just blow out your knee doing it.

This video was great. I too thought it was strange how the strings consisted of complex 5 add and basic 2 add moves. I am sure he will advance everything over time. Keep up the good work.

based on how easy ales makes tatw look, and this kid being a relatively newer player and coming that close to qatw.... its definitely gonna be hit.

besides archnemesis, i think it is one of the first same leg quad dexes, right? the first without a plant i think..... unless someone's hit a muted archnemesis. cool.

who cares if he throws two adds in his strings? i think he will defintiely step up the general average addcount in his strings as he progresses, but if he does far legovers between ripsteins and blurry whirls, thats fine with me. its a natural clipper to toe transition... im sure theyll get replaced with blurs, pdx mirages or blizzards soon enough. besides, vasek does pickups every now and then.

im proud to say im of czech heritage, though i dont have the opportunity to drink their plutonium laced water. but the bloodline alone is enough to hold me over =)

I got a mail from Karel the other day.

First he thanked me for sharing the video and then he told me that he has hit quad atw now.
So far only barefeet but he thinks he will hit in shoes soon.
And he is going to worlds in Prague.

He has only been playing for 7 months aswell..
So far his only tournament has been the czech champs where he got second in intermediate.

I had a theory about why the czechs are so rediculously amazing. There is an amazing secret that makes footbag WAY easier to understand and learn. Vasek came up with it between him and Dexter and Honza and Ales and those guys, and it helped the younger ones from then on (including Vasek, Honza and Ales) achieve high levels of greatness. Sadly, the secret can only be uttered in the czech language. All other languages lack the concepts required for the secret to be understood... the structure ONLY makes sense in Czech.

I just decided to marry a Czech woman and raise my children in the Czech Republic where they will learn Czech as their first language. I will start speaking to them (in english) once they're about 8-9 years old, once the language is really set in their heads... they'll be able to understand the secret... oh, if only we could all speak Czech. THEN we'd be good at footbag.
