nice! good work holly!

I'm stoked we're both playing again!!

I wanna give you a hug! haha

I agree, those mirages looked good, how about dragging out the tiltless with some clippers and maybe far legovers or clipper set mirages?

Go Holly Go!! :D

The DLO was soooo close!

Its tricky, but just treat it like a normal mirage with a higher set and bigger jump.

As for the rest, the clipper looked rad. Hit it in your strings next time.

Mirages looked great. But, you should try those SS Mirages (downtime pixie) with a plant. So your more stable.

Try to have every set at the same place so when you go for those legovers you dont have to worry about running after the bag.

Awesome vid!!!

I don't know if I have any concrete tips to give, but I just wanted to say that I enjoyed watching it. I like your style.

thanks everyone! yall are really helping me with motivation

kicked a little this weekend. clippers are getting consistent... im seeing improvement on my flip side but its gradual. i blew the toe out of my pimp lavers, so im having to order a new pair. suck. the fabric on the plaid ones seems flimsy and weak compared to the white ones.

school starts next week... and then i graduate in december! this semester is going to be difficult but im so ready to grow up

neat. well the vid was pretty ace for only playing for a month.

though im in no postion to say keep it up and all that guff, it still good to hear someone doing well, who has been playing about as long as me.

hope the session goes well

if by J you mean cigarette, then sure

so i kicked this weekend with elliott and ben and andrew. they got me into a game of net, in which i only earned our team one point haha. we freestyled some too but i hurt my ankle and didnt kick very long. i did have a really long ssmirage drill. yay for longer strings.

i also got a new pair of lavers in the mail, but im gonna have to send them back cause theyre too small.

footbags are being stitched like crazy, school starts back up on thursday, and im looking forward to my september visitor.

sent back the lavers for a larger size. thanks world footbag.

im in the state of footbag, where i shouldnt be trying new tricks but keeping the ones i have consistent and strung together. im seeing a lot of improvement in that area, and would like to see more unique moves peppered into my strings.

anyone know some fun little tricks to put into my strings? maybe some that arent so well known? if you give me a trick that's not at my level, i will add it to the list and try it when im ready...
some that ive been thinking of:
guay
wrap
any of the moves i have with a knee bump "set"

aside from footbag,

Ooh good call on the wraps. Maybe try some reverse guays, too (dex goes other direction). How about flying clippers and hopovers? Make sure your ankle is healed first and you've played on it for a few weeks before trying, though.

See you in a couple weeks!

went to murfreesboro to kick with the nashville freestyle and net crew. the weather was wonderful and we had a great turn out. lee needs to answer his phone calls and come kick.

i mostly worked on having longer strings, worked the flip clip, and tried different versions of dlo. andrew suggested trying it from a pixie set, and my response was "i cant do pixie". he said "sure you can" and i hit it about 4th try. yayyy for andrew calling me out on my shit!

highlights:
pixie legover
butterfly>far mirage
12 contact string

getting a bike this week. probably will be a conversion. im tempted to go full fixie, but nashville has too many hills. im going to the bike gypsy on wednesday to pick out the frame.

Nice work on pixie legover! is that your first trick with uptime? and only 4th try? pretty sick if you ask me.

Fo Sho get Lee out to kick, make his ass practice then you both can come to NYJ or up to Michigan to kick with me!

the pic you posted reminds me of this one, you may have seen it

Hey - good luck at your interview.

It'd be nice to hear about artists doing well right out of school, as tomorrow is my first day at art school.
